July 15, 2013 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York The Monday Night Raw intro video airs and the cameras pan inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everybody to the show. Tonight, a huge show is in store just twenty four hours removed from Money in the Bank! CM Punk is still the WWE Champion and a celebration has been called upon by Triple H, along with an explanation of Shawn Michaels' actions last night and his apparent repaired relationship with Stephanie. Also, both Batista and Antonio Cesaro - the Money in the Bank winners - are in the arena, Ryan Braxton will make his debut, The Bella Twins will return and The Rock will be here live! "What a show we have prepared tonight!" Jerry Lawler shouts, "I don't know which part I am most excited about!" JBL tells him there isn't anything not to be excited about.
The crowd is looked over and as if on cue, the theme music of The Rock hits! The roof comes off the Barclays Center as the legend makes his way out to the stage, stomping across it. He looks all around the arena and laughs before making his way down the ramp and to the ring, rising onto the second turnbuckle while gazing back out to the crowd. He raises his fist up high and drops down into the squared circle, taking a microphone from ringside. A thunderous 'Rocky' chant breaks out as he stands in the middle of the ring, flashing a huge smile. "FINALLY! THE ROCK! HAS COME BACK! TO BROOOKLLYNNN..." He shakes his head and laughs, thanking the WWE Universe. "Now, the last time you saw The Rock you saw him getting the Smackethdown laid upon him by Brock Lesnar and The Rock's arm was indeed broken! But The Rock needs his arm for many of things..." He raises an eyebrow to a laugh from the crowd, as he says he also needs it to beat the living hell out of people whether it be in the movies or right in the middle of this ring. "One of those men that The Rock wants to get his hands on... is Brock Lesnar. You see, Brock Lesnar broke The Rock's arm but he didn't break The Rock's spirit! So The Rock wants to break Brock Lesnar's face and he wants to break it at Summerslam in a rematch from WrestleMania!" The crowd explodes as Rock marches around the ring, tilting his nose up to the ceiling. He goes to speak once again but he is interrupted by the clearing of the throat of Paul Heyman, whom makes his way out to the stage.
"Excuse me, Mr. Johnson, but I must interrupt you. In case you have forgotten my name is Paul Heyman and I am the advocate of the man who defeated you at WrestleMania, the man who broke your arm the night after WrestleMania right here on Monday Night Raw, the Beast Incarnate BRRRRRRRRRRRRROCK! LESSSNARRR!" He grows a huge smile across his face and looks all around the arena at the booing crowd. "Unfortunately, Mr. Johnson, on behalf of the best interest for my client I have to reject your challenge to a rematch at Summerslam. You see, my client Brock Lesnar already did everything he had to do with you and he has no need to come back here just to break your arm once again, just to defeat you once again, just to embarrass you once again and to just upset the millions... and millions of The Rock's fans. Thank you very much, sir, now I will be on my way and you can go on with your childish humor that these people just eat up because they aren't mature enough to comprehend anything more sophisticated." He starts to head towards the back but Rock clears his throat, just as Heyman did on his way out. Rock continues to do so until Heyman turns around, staring right down to the ring.
"How about you bring your sophisticated and mature self down to this ring so The Rock can whip your candy ass seeing as how Brock Lesnar is too much of a bitch to do it himself?" The Barclays Center roars as Rock pulls off his sunglasses, staring down Heyman - whom responds by saying that is the immaturity he is talking about. Rock tells him to shut the hell up, to another pop from the fans. "If you want maturity, The Rock will give you maturity! The Rock wants Brock Lesnar in a No Holds Barred rematch from WrestleMania at Summerslam for one reason and one reason only... revenge. Now, if you want to speak on behalf of the Bitch Incarnate then go right ahead but The Rock suggests that you make the right call and you accept the challenge to that match at Summerslam before he walks right up that ramp and brings you all the way from Brooklyn to Times Square and checks your ass into the Smackdown Hotel!" He gets another huge ovation from the WWE Universe as Heyman bites his lip in frustration. He responds by telling The Rock that he doesn't need to answer to his threats. Heyman backs up slowly, The Rock tossing his microphone down. He steps out of the ring and storms up the ramp, Heyman stumbling his way towards the back!
The cameras cut backstage as Heyman scrambles through the back, ordering everyone to move out of his way. He gets towards a door and tries to open it, but it won't budge. Rock comes charging up from behind and pins Heyman up against the wall, whom covers his face up begging not to be hit. "You don't want The Rock to hit you? Then you take your candy ass to Brock Lesnar and you tell him at Summerslam he is going one on one with the great one..." Heyman nods in agreement as Rock asks if he understands, Heyman screaming he does. Rock slaps him across the face, "If ya smellllllalalalalalalell! WHAT THE ROCK! IS COOKING!" He walks off, Heyman left in a ball up against the door, breathing heavily as The Rock has gotten what he wanted.
Returning, the commentary trio discusses what just went down to open the show up with The Rock coming out to challenge Brock Lesnar to a WrestleMania rematch at Summerslam. Paul Heyman would come out and decline The Rock's offer on behalf of his client, only to be chased down by The Brahma Bull to the back and cornered, leading to Heyman agreeing to the No Holds Barred Match at Summerslam.
Antonio Cesaro defeats Alberto Del Rio via pinfall The bell rings as the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank holder, Cesaro, takes Del Rio down quickly. He works at the head and upper body before getting blasted with a huge kick to the face. Del Rio gets some fast paced action going and stirs up some momentum, missing out on the opportunity to lock in the Rolling Cross Armbar, however, as Cesaro pulls free. Both men get back up and Antonio catches the legs, dropping Alberto onto his back. He proceeds to look around the arena before hitting the Big Swing to the delight of the Brooklyn crowd. He cranks his neck and hits the Neutralizer before getting the pinfall.
The crowd cheers as Cesaro gets onto his feet, taking his briefcase from ringside. He raises it up to the fans before turning around to Kassius Ohno - whom blasts him with a huge leaping elbow to the jaw! Ohno looks around all fired up and shouts that he should have won last night, that he is the true 'king of wrestling'. He proceeds to pull Cesaro up, slap him across the face and whip him off the ropes before nailing another huge elbow. Kassius rises right back onto his feet and takes a hold of the briefcase, slowly raising it up above his head to the booing Barclay's Center.
WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos defeat The Prime Time Players in a non-title match The bell rings as Jimmy starts things off with Young. They go back and forth with fast paced action early on and The Usos get the upper hand, making some quick tags to dominate Darren. The Prime Time Players begin to make a comeback, however, as Young hits a huge kick to the face to Jey. Young and O'Neill dominate for the next couple of minutes and Titus sets up for the Clash of the Titus, only for Jimmy to slip free and send him down with a huge DDT. The Usos swing momentum back in their favor and Jey hits a big splash off the top rope on O'Neill, leading to the pinfall.
The Usos get fired up as they rise back onto their feet, hugging each other. Suddenly, Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson come into the ring from behind and drop them to the mat. They begin to stomp on the champions but The Prime Time Players come in for the save, rocking Ryback and Jackson to the ropes before sending them over the top and to the floor. The Usos and Prime Time Players shake hands and stare Ryback and Jackson down on the outside as they stagger up the ramp.
The cameras proceed to transition backstage to Jeff Hardy walking backstage and he asks some of the crew members if they have seen Big Show, saying he hasn't seen or heard from him since last night. He continues walking down the halls after getting no answer and he heads towards a closet that is slightly creaked open. He looks around cautiously before pulling open the door, Big Show on his knees chained to the walls with the signature sheep mask over his face! Hardy begins to panic and calls for help, checking down on Show. "Hey! Somebody get help in here, quick!" Officials and medics come storming in and check on Show as Hardy puts his hands on his head in frustration as it appears The Wyatt Family has taken out Big Show here tonight.
The theme music of Batista hits and the WWE Universe bursts out into a loud, mixed reaction. He makes his way out to the stage with his WWE Championship Money in the Bank briefcase and gazes all around the arena, patting the briefcase as he raises it up slowly. He comes down to the ring and takes a microphone from ringside, placing the briefcase right at his feet. "Last night I won the WWE Championship Money in the Bank just like I said I would! However, I also said I was going to cash in on the same night once I did and walk out the WWE Champion. Now, that didn't happen because somebody decided to lay me out after my victory! I don't know who did it, I don't know why... but all I know is I am going to find out who tried to stop The Animal from becoming WWE Champion!" He looks all around the arena, still receiving a mix of cheers and boos. "The bottom line is, though, that once I am through with whoever stopped me from seizing my opportunity, I'm coming right for the WWE Championship and I guaran-damn-tee I will walk out with that belt right around my waist! So deal with it!" He throws the microphone down and scoops up his briefcase, staring out to the WWE Universe before making his way over to the ropes and out of the ring. He heads up the ramp, clearly having shifted his focus.
The cameras transition to ringside where Michael Cole brings up how last night, John Cena's career was ended in his match against CM Punk for the WWE Championship, but as Triple H was banned from ringside it was another legend to cost Cena his career. They go back to last night with still images of the match, with Cena seeming on the verge of victory multiple times. However, he would turn to The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels, whom was one of the panelists for the Money in the Bank Kickoff Show, and receive the Sweet Chin Music. This would allow CM Punk to take advantage and end up defeating Cena, thus ending his career. Tonight, there will be a celebration for CM Punk remaining WWE Champion hosted by Triple H, whom will have along with him Stephanie McMahon and Shawn Michaels.
Dolph Ziggler defeats Wade Barrett via pinfall The bell rings and the two lock up to start, Barrett using his power to get control in the early goings. Some back and forth action ensues and Barrett nails a huge boot to rock Ziggler and send him to the outside. The two begin to brawl up against the barricade and Barrett drops Dolph chest first across it. He works him a bit more before taking him back into the ring at the count of seven. He misses the bullhammer, however, and Ziggler hits the Zig Zag! Barrett kicks out on the pin attempt, however, and the two once again go at it. Barrett sets up for The Wasteland but Dolph rakes the eyes, allowing him to nail another Zig Zag and get the pinfall.
The crowd boos as Ziggler gets onto his feet, pounding his chest in a fury. He mocks Barrett and runs his hand through his hair before exiting the ring, celebrating his cheap victory to the disapproval of the Brooklyn crowd. He stomps up the ramp and laughs as he heads to the back, Barrett stirring in frustration with the fashion of his loss, Ziggler clearly not caring about how he is victorious here tonight.
Returning, the cameras cut backstage to show Kofi Kingston packing things up, slamming stuff into his bag. As he seems to be ready to leave, however, R-Truth walks in and asks Kingston - fittingly - 'whats up?' to which Kingston shakes his head and says he doesn't have time for Truth. Kingston tries to look away but Truth takes him by the arm, "Hey, Kofi, you've been way too down since you pulled that stunt last summer, man. I know and you know that ain't you! You supposed to be the guy that runs around here all happy and getting these people all excited! Man, I just want to see the old Kofi... I tell you what, I'm looking to get back into the game myself and if you wanna team up with me... I'll be out there this Thursday on Smackdown, a'ight?" He heads off, Kingston left pondering Truth's proposition.
Big E Langston defeats Rob Van Dam via pinfall in the Big E Challenge The match kicks off with the two going back and forth right away, the crowd getting behind both men with chants of 'Lets go Big E' and 'R-V-D!', Langston using his strength to keep RVD from hitting any of his kicks or high flying moves. He is met with a sudden kick to the face, however, and RVD begins to get some momentum going. Langston floors him with a huge clothesline, however, and turns things back his way. He goes for the Big Ending but Rob slips free and hits a huge sweeping kick to the legs. He proceeds to hit Rolling Thunder and goes to the top rope for the Five Star Frog Splash. He sends right off the top rope but Langston rolls out of the way, giving him time to get up and pull down his straps - beating on his chest. He lets RVD get up before dropping him with the Big Ending and getting the pinfall.
The WWE Universe gives some cheers as Langston rises back up onto his feet, nodding over his victory. He turns back to Van Dam and helps him onto his feet, shaking his hand before raising his arm up. Rob points to Big E and gives him a clap before exiting the ring, having shown his respect for his opponent. Langston continues his celebration as the commentary team mentions how Langston is rising on up in the WWE.
Returning, the theme music of Dean Ambrose hits as he makes his way down to the ring, clutching his United States Championship belt close to his shoulder. He twirls his neck around before getting into the ring, taking a microphone from ringside. "Last night... last night! Last night at Money in the Bank I was robbed! I was robbed of my opportunity to get a shot at the WWE Championship... I should have won that match but... it just didn't turn out that way! It just didn't! But the good news is that I, unlike many of those in that match, am a champion regardless! I am the United States Champion and I've been the United States Champion since WrestleMania!" He gets some boos from the crowd and licks his lips, laughing. He goes to say more but is cut off by some unfamiliar theme music. He looks up the ramp and raises one eyebrow up, Ryan Braxton emerging from the back to a solid pop from the WWE Universe. He comes down to the ring and steps right in, staring Ambrose down while holding a microphone of his own. Ambrose asks what the hell he is doing and Braxton pulls his microphone up, "All my life I've strived to make it to the WWE and I told myself and everybody else that once I did I'd become a champion! Seeing as how you like to talk about being United States Champion since WrestleMania, I figure I should step up to such a great champion and show the world why Unbreakable Ryan Braxton is a champion." He stares Ambrose down, whom chuckles, telling Braxton he doesn't just get to walk in here and get a shot at his title. He does tell Ryan, however, he has no problem kicking his ass. A referee comes racing down to the ring.
Ryan Braxton defeats United States Champion Dean Ambrose via pinfall in a non-title match The bell tolls and Ambrose runs right into a huge clothesline. Braxton overpowers Ambrose in the opening minutes and stuns him, the United States Champion having to take a break outside of the ring. Ambrose runs right back in and is met with a series of big suplexes and slams and a couple of near falls. The champion begins to make a comeback, however, and gets a few near falls of his own on Braxton. He sets up for the Headlock Driver, only for Braxton to shove him off the ropes and hit a huge belly to belly suplex. He gets right back up, all fired up, getting the crowd behind him. He lets Dean get back onto his feet and hits a huge spinning powerbomb! He hooks both legs up for the three count.
The WWE Universe gives a solid reaction to Braxton as he rises onto his feet, victorious over the United States Champion in his WWE debut. He marches around the ring and throws his arms up and down to keep the crowd going as Ambrose slowly rolls out of the ring, sitting up against the barricade in frustration with his loss. The referee retrieves the United States Championship for him, but it doesn't console Ambrose at all. Braxton moves over to the ropes and leans over at Dean, motioning for the belt around his waist. The champion talks some smack as he gets onto his feet and backs up the ramp, Braxton just flashing him a big smile.
Returning, Matt Striker is backstage and he introduces his guest at this time to be Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins. He thanks him for his time and mentions how he put on a great performance in the WWE Championship Money in the Bank last night, but came up just a bit short. He asks Rollins if he learned anything from that experience. Rollins stares at Striker and adjusts his title belt, giving a short laugh. "I would say you win some, you lose some. But seeing as how I have been the Intercontinental Champion since October 22nd of last year, I don't think that is the case. You see, I don't lose. Last night wasn't about gaining any experience or taking away any lessons it was my first true taste of defeat and disappointment in this company, Matt..." He runs his hand through his hair and says he doesn't know how he should really feel about it all. "But all I know is that I am the Intercontinental Champion and that nobody has managed to take this belt away from me and nobody ever will!" He storms off, Striker left staring down the halls at him.
The cameras pan back into the arena and the theme music of Bryan Danielson hits, the World Heavyweight Champion making his way out to the stage. He gets the crowd going with loud 'Yes!' chants and hops his way right down to the ring, taking a microphone before coming to the middle of the squared circle. The crowd continues with the chant as he tries to talk, leading to a laugh from the World Heavyweight Champion. "Guys, guys, guys! I love saying it as much as you but it isn't the only thing I can, or have, to say!" He laughs once again as the Brooklyn crowd refuses to let up. Danielson mentions how last night he was in a No Holds Barred Match against Randy Orton with his title on the line and it was indeed brutal, but he did manage to walk out still World Heavyweight Champion. "I walked out still YOUR World Heavyweight Champion! YES! YES! YES!" The WWE Universe gets going again as Danielson continues, "I don't know what is coming next for me but I assure you, no matter who or what steps in my way I am going to give it my all and I am going to do whatever it takes to remain your World Heavyweight Champion... that is, if that is what you want?" The WWE Universe, as expected, responds with the thunderous 'Yes!' chants once again. He gets going along with the crowd with a huge smile across his face.
Returning, a promo video for the upcoming E! reality show, Total Divas, airs including The Bella Twins, whom make their entrance as the cameras come back into the arena to a decent pop from the WWE Universe. They make their way down to the ring where Aksana and Layla stand in preparation.
The Bella Twins defeat Layla and Aksana via pinfall The match starts off with Aksana and Nikki, the latter dominating the early goings. She gets some aggressive work in on Aksana before tagging in her sister. The dynamic duo twins work Aksana until a tag to Layla is made, only for her to get controlled as well. Brie hits the Bella Buster and hooks both legs up for the pinfall.
The Bella Twins meet in the middle of the ring and hug each other, happy with their return to the WWE and victory. They exit the ring and back up the ramp, working the crowd up the best they can. The cameras cut backstage to Diva's Champion AJ Lee watching a television, squinting her eyes at The Bella Twins.
The signature of The Wyatt Family hits and Bray appears in the illuminating light of the lantern. "I have led the masses! I have led the masses as Abigail told me I would when I was a young boy! Abigail... Abigail told me I would be the leader and the savior of those whom have been mislead! I am a God, my brothers, I am a God and Big Show! Big Show has been sacrificed here tonight... and now Jeff Hardy... Jeff Hardy! You! YOU ARE A FOOL! YOU ARE A FOOL FOR NOT SACRIFICING YOURSELF LAST NIGHT AND NOW YOU MUST SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES FOR ALL OF YOUR SINS JUST AS BIG SHOW HAS!" He laughs and looks to Harper and Rowan, spreading his arms out and tilting his head back with another loud cackle. "Jeff Hardy... your career shall burn!" He walks away, the camera leaning into Harper - whom warns 'run' before the signature of The Wyatt Family hits once again.
Returning, the commentary trio talks about how the show started off with a bang. The Rock would come out and call for a challenge to Brock Lesnar for a WrestleMania rematch at Summerslam, to which Paul Heyman would decline before being chased down to the backstage area by The Rock and cornered, forcing Heyman to agree to the match.
Sheamus defeats Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman via disqualification The bell sounds and the two go at it back and forth to start, Sheamus getting the upper hand. He rocks Reigns into the corner and takes control for a couple of minutes before being dropped with a big boot. Reigns goes for a clothesline but The Celtic Warrior ducks underneath and goes for the Brogue Kick, only for Reigns to duck down and slip out of the ring - backing to Heyman, leading to a commercial break. Upon the return, Reigns dominates the match and gets a few near falls on Sheamus following some hard slams over and over. He goes for the spear but misses and hits the corner face first, leading to a Brogue Kick from Sheamus! He drops down immediately and hooks the close leg, only to get a two count. Both men get up and continue to brawl, Reigns hitting the Superman Punch out of nowhere. Sheamus leans between the middle and bottom rope and Reigns backs away before charging forward and leaping for a kick, only for Sheamus to move and Reigns to hit the steel post groin first. The Celtic Warrior slowly rolls back out of the ring and gets the crowd fired up but turns to Reigns, whom blasts him with a steel chair to the gut!
The crowd boos as Reigns cracks the chair over the spine, hitting Sheamus over and over and over again! The referee continues to try and stop him and calls for the bell. Reigns refuses to let up, however, and continues to smash it over the back. He drops it down vertically at Heyman's orders, Paul eventually telling his client that it is enough. They pull away as the referee calls for help from the back, medics and other officials coming down to aid Sheamus. They check on him and eventually get him onto his feet, Reigns storming back down to hit the Superman Punch! The WWE Universe continues to boo as Reigns pounds on his chest and roars, Heyman once again pulling him away. They share a smile together and make their way up the ramp and towards the back as Sheamus remains laid out on the floor.
The cameras cut backstage to Triple H, as they will be hosting the celebration for CM Punk's retaining of the WWE Championship - next!
The theme music of Triple H hits and the WWE Universe roars with boos as he makes his way out to the stage along with his wife Stephanie McMahon, whom actually has a smile across her face. The two kiss and make their way down the ramp and towards the ring, Hunter helping his wife in. They march around the squared circle and look all around the arena, taking the boos in. The Chief Operating Officer takes a microphone from ringside and comes to the middle of the ring, "You may notice something different around here on Monday Night Raw... my wife actually has a smile across her face!" He laughs as she rolls her eyes before taking the microphone away from him carefully. She gives a sarcastic 'ha ha' and addresses the crowd, "The reason I have a smile on my face is because during the weeks that I have been gone my brilliant husband has opened my eyes, as has John Cena. Over the weeks, I have realized that the likes of John Cena are not welcome in the WWE anymore. John, whom I have much respect for, has been a nuisance and defies authority, something that cannot happen in a business like this! Fortunately for each and everyone of you, you will no longer be seeing or hearing from Mr. Cena ever again." She smiles and hands the microphone back over to her husband and he says that last night, he was banned from ringside or interference but there was somebody who knew what was best for business last night other than himself. "A man that I call my best friend! A man known as the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels!" He points up the ramp as the theme music of Michaels hits to a very loud mixed reaction by the WWE Universe, HBK making his way out to the ramp with a smile across his face.
Shawn spreads his arms out on the ramp and spins around and gives his signature entrance before coming down and into the ring, hugging The Game and giving Stephanie a kiss on the cheek. He takes a microphone of his own from ringside and looks all around to the mixed reacting crowd. "I know a lot of you are mad at me for hitting John Cena with Sweet Chin Music last night at Money in the Bank... I know that a lot of you wouldn't expect that from the good ol' Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels." He shrugs his shoulders and laughs to the other two in the ring, "But when my best friend gets disrespected and attacked it doesn't matter who you are, you have to be taught a lesson. If that lesson is kicking your teeth down your throat and costing you your career then so be it!" He looks straight into the main camera, pointing right at it. "John, we've known each other for a long time and I'm sorry for what I had to do but I had to do it. We were tag team partners at one point. We were the tag team champions! We've faced each other many of times and you do exactly what you say you'll do and never give up... but just like it was time for it to be over for me, it was time for you. Your time is up! His time is now! And he is the WWE Champion - CM Punk!" Michaels points up the ramp and 'Cult Of Personality' hits to a huge mixed reaction.
The 'Best in the World' makes his way down to the ring and gets right in, shaking hands with everyone before pulling his own microphone from ringside. "I appreciate the support, guys, I really do... but the thing about my reign as WWE Champion that has really frustrated me is that I haven't been viewed as a true champion. Nobody recognizes CM Punk as the best champion in the world because at WrestleMania it was Triple H costing John Cena the WWE Championship. Then it was Roman Reigns. Then it was Bray Wyatt... now, it was Shawn Michaels." He locks eyes with The Heart Break Kid and nods, saying he appreciates all they have done for him to keep the WWE Championship around his waist but it quite honestly makes him sick to his stomach to have to be labeled as a champion that can't get the job done on his own. "I mean it when I say I appreciate all the support but I don't want your help anymore. I'll accept all your praise from the sidelines but don't be getting involved in my matches anymore because I can get the job done on my own! I am the Best in the World and it is about damn time that I start proving it again!" He gets a mixed reaction from the crowd again as Hunter, Stephanie and Shawn all look to each other. The COO nods and tells Punk he understands, "I know you've been saying this for a while, Punk, and that is why I have been questioning my decision to hand pick you as the WWE Champion at WrestleMania. I mean, I thought we were friends, Punk! I thought we were kind of like brothers... like Shawn and I. Always having each others backs and doing what is best for business and what is best for one another. I guess you just don't understand that and that is why I have made another decision that could be considered best for business..." He pulls Stephanie aside and Michaels drops Punk with the Sweet Chin Music! The Brooklyn crowd explodes as Triple H removes his suit jacket, tossing it to the outside. He forces Punk onto his feet and takes him by the chin, yelling that he was supposed to be the face of the WWE. He proceeds to kick Punk in the stomach and lay him out with the Pedigree! Hunter rises onto his feet slowly and looks to Michaels and Stephanie before giving a nod, raising his thumb up high. He sends it down and backs off to the ropes, the theme music of Batista hitting to another loud reaction from the crowd! The Animal makes his way out from the back slowly and pats the back of his head in mockery of his apparent attack from last night. He makes his way into the ring and a referee comes racing down, Batista handing over the briefcase. Punk struggles onto his feet in the corner and the referee calls for the bell.
Batista with Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Stephanie McMahon defeats CM Punk via pinfall to become the NEW WWE Champion The Animal runs right up to Punk and drives his shoulder into the gut over and over again before dragging him out and delivering a spinebuster. He pulls Punk right up and hits a Batista Bomb right in the middle of the squared circle. Instead of going for the pin, however, he pulls Punk up once again to hit a second Batista Bomb! He hooks the far leg up for the three count!
The Brooklyn fans continue to boo as Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Stephanie McMahon join Batista in the middle of the ring, the Chief Operating Officer handing Batista the WWE Championship belt. He smiles and hugs his former mentor, raising the title up to the crowd with a yell. The commentators go over how things broke down suddenly with Michaels hitting Punk with the Sweet Chin Music, followed up by the Pedigree from Triple H - leading to Batista cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Back live in the arena, Batista shakes hands with Michaels and Stephanie before once again embracing Hunter. He steps up to the ropes and places his foot on the middle rope, leaning across them with the belt hung over them. He points to his chest and praises himself before moving back to the middle of the ring, raising his arm up in a line with the other three over the lifeless body of CM Punk. The WWE Universe continues their booing as the four all show smiles across their faces as Monday Night Raw comes to an end with a new WWE Champion!

What a RAW
Definitely loved how you opened up RAW with the return of The Rock, The People's Champion The Brahma Bull The Great One and now that he is back he wants himself a piece of The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar, I knew it, and it looks like after what Rock did with Heyman it looks like the re-match will be set, Rock vs Brock Lesnar WrestleMania 29 rematch in No Holds Barred at SummerSlam, talk about a blockbuster announcement but will Brock Lesnar accept Rock's request for a rematch though? That is the million dollar question now isn't it?
Cesaro the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase winner who won the Smackdown MITB Ladder Match last night beats Del Rio, this victory just proves that Cesaro is on the rise but then after the match he is attacked by his former friend his former tag team partner his former Kings of Wrestling teammate Ohno, this was bound to happen and it pretty much just confirms their split as a tag team especially after this attack from Ohno, Ohno as it seems it looks like he is jealous of Cesaro's success, I wonder if these 2 will go at it? And if they do it will most likely happen at SummerSlam
WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos beating PTP, it was bound to happen but what I didn't expect was Ryback and Big Zeke showing up and attacking The Usos only for PTP to make the save but since that happened, I have to ask why? Why would PTP save The Usos from getting the hell beat out of them? But nevertheless it seems the tag team division is for sure heating up so I wonder who will be the next #1 Contenders for the titles then?
Jeff Hardy finding Big Show backstage attacked and Big Show with the sheep mask on him, yes the Wyatts for sure definitely got to Show but I wonder if they could get to Big Show then I wonder if they are saving Jeff Hardy for later?
Batista sure is determined to become WWE Champion but it begs the question of just who it was that attacked The Animal last night and if this person is somehow here tonight on RAW?
CM Punk WWE Championship celebration I could see it being crashed either by John Cena himself or by Batista
Ziggler beating Barrett, I wonder if this is the start of a new feud here because if it is then I don't really mind because I know I have definitely wanted to see these 2 men go at it and if this feud continues it could even go into SummerSlam
Kofi Kingston and R-Truth segment I wonder if this could be the start of Kofi Kingston turning babyface again? If it is then Kofi is in definite need of a babyface turn but I have a feeling Kofi is staying heel and that he will be feuding with R-Truth
Big E. wins yet again in the Big E. Challenge this time beating overwhelming crowd favorite RVD, face vs face match-up with Big E. going over RVD, if anything this definitely has to be some sort of passing of the torch and with Big E. winning his matches I wonder if this could be the start of a huge undefeated streak for him?
WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose going on and on about being WWE United States Champion and how no one can beat him only for the debuting Unbreakable Ryan Braxton to show up and on his debut he interrupts Ambrose, that for sure takes some guts and I wonder if Braxton's way of making a statement is by challenging the WWE United States Champion? If it is then that for sure takes guts but Ambrose I have a feeling he will put this rookie in his place and teach him some respect
Braxton in his debut beats the WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose, that definitely has got to be an upset in my book definite upset because I don't even think I could have called that but Braxton beating Ambrose that for sure definitely has to put him in the WWE United States Championship picture since he did pin the WWE United States Champion, that should give him a future title opportunity but I wonder if Braxton will go on a undefeated streak here?
WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins still WWE Intercontinental Champion I mean who can beat this man? He has been champion ever since October, that's 9 months as champion, 3 more months as IC Champion he will make it to 1 full year as IC Champion but it seems Rollins he is making the WWE Intercontinental Championship mean something again, he has brought prestige back to the title and he continues to bring that prestige back especially because of the fact that he has beaten all comers ever since becoming champion but I wonder who will be next for him?
World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson gracing us with his presence, I wonder who will be his next #1 Contender for his World Heavyweight Championship considering he has beaten Randy Orton not once but twice so it begs the question of who he will face next? I guess we will find out on Smackdown perhaps having a 20-man Over-the-Top-Rope Battle Royal to determine who will face Danielson at SummerSlam or perhaps a Beat the Clock Sprint to determine who will face him at SummerSlam or a tournament to decide the #1 Contender
Bella Twins are in the house, Total Divas themselves, it begs the question of just who else will be on the show with them?
Bella Twins beating Aksana and Layla, yes this is just the sign of a push for The Bella Twins considering that Nikki is of course with Cena and Brie is with Danielson the World Heavyweight Champion so it means The Bellas are perhaps turning face maybe? AJ Lee the WWE Divas Champion of course she's jealous because of the fact that she is the champion but yet she is not even on the show, yes she has every right to be jealous
The Wyatt Family are in the house, yes I knew it, I knew they got to Big Show and now they want Jeff Hardy, but will Hardy either sacrifice himself to them? Or will Jeff Hardy somehow take The Wyatt Family down all by himself? Because Jeff can't do this on his own that's for sure and after what the Family did to Show, how can Jeff expect to take them on?
Sheamus beating Roman Reigns Paul Heyman's other client that he represents, by DQ because of the fact that Roman Reigns simply did not care about winning the match he simply just wanted to destroy Sheamus he basically wanted to send a message to everyone who was in the RAW MITB Ladder Match last night as well as the locker room that he is a man that is to be feared, he is a man that simply destroys everyone and everything in his path and Sheamus had to learn that the hard way but Sheamus I can expect him to gain some form of retribution after that savage attack
It seems the crowd crapon Triple H, and Stephanie hard but even more so on Shawn Michaels because of what he did last night costing Cena his career and basically making sure that Punk stayed the WWE Champion and then Shawn giving his explanation as to why he did what he did but also what I didn't expect was Stephanie coming out with her husband much less smiling as a result of everything that happened, I told you Stephanie would turn heel and it looks like she has and whatever dissension her and her husband were having in their marriage was all a smokescreen, they fooled all of us, I knew this would happen, I just predicted it would happen but then Triple H bringing out his hand-picked WWE Champion CM Punk only for Punk to tell off Triple H, Stephanie and even HBK by saying that he is The Best in the World and that he doesn't need or want their help anymore even though he benefited from it basically throwing everything back in Triple H's face only for Triple H and Shawn Michaels to attack Punk and leave him laying, now this I definitely did not expect to happen
It seems Triple H has turned on his hand-picked champion, I knew this would happen eventually and now that it has, cue Batista's music, Mr. Money in the Bank himself coming out to cash in on Punk, this whole thing was a set-up and it appears Batista's attack last night was a set-up, they played us all and Batista takes advantage of Triple H and Shawn Michaels' handy work after they did all the work and Batista becomes the new WWE Champion cue Batista's heel turn, I am loving this
It seems Batista is now "The Face of WWE" taking Punk's spot away from him as the hand-picked champion, Punk was clearly set up like a perfect patsy, a patsy who definitely did not see this coming and now with Batista as the WWE Champion, and with Triple H and Stephanie backing him, it makes me wonder just who will be able to beat Batista now?
CM Punk definitely has his rematch clause and I can see Punk using it at SummerSlam setting up Punk vs Batista at SummerSlam for the WWE Championship, but it begs the question of John Cena, if Cena will show up soon enough? If Cena does show up I can see him facing Triple H at SummerSlam but if that doesn't happen then I could see John Cena vs Shawn Michaels with Michaels coming out of retirement to face Cena even though Michaels is clearly retired since Chris Jericho was the one who retired him, but I could see Cena egging Michaels on with it being Cena vs HBK at SummerSlam but I can for sure see John Cena vs Triple H happening if not now then at WrestleMania 30 for sure but with Triple H's career being on the line at Mania 30 but with Control of the WWE also being on the line with Cena representing Vince and Triple H representing himself

I figured Batista would figure into a twist, Trips using Punk to rid the WWE of John Cena and then dropping him like a bad habit when all was said and done. The about face by Punk felt a little inorganic, given what he's been doing the last few weeks, but it's certainly not too much of a stretch for his character to be unbelievable. I assume we'll see a rematch at Summerslam and that Cena will eventually get a shot somewhere down the line as well.

Cena's career ending, this whole business of him injuring his elbow definitely is storyline related so it makes sense to write Cena off and have his "career" end at the hands of Punk, HBK and company but I have a feeling Cena will return either by Cyber Sunday in December or he will make his return in the 2014 Royal Rumble Match if that is how long Cena is out but if he comes back sooner then he will be back by Payback in October or at Survivor Series in November

great start to have The Rock be out first and asking for a fight against Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, it's going to be a re-match similar to WrestleMania, nice win for Cesaro against Alberto Del Rio only to have Kassius come down to attack Antonio. The Usos and Primetime Players in a competitive friendly match and for the PTP saving The Usos from an attack by Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson. So who attacked Batista I don't know whoever they are somebody's going to pay, a nice win by Ziggler and will we see Kofi finally turn face too, who knows. RVD takes the Big E Challenge, well Big E gets another win in his Big E Challenge, I wonder who else is going to step up and take on Big E in his challenge, a good win for Braxton over Ambrose in his live debut, Danielson promo very nice, glad to see the Bellas back defeating Layla and Aksana in a mixed tag team match. AJ's got some serious competition in her hands. Eerie promo by the Wyatt Family saying Jeff Hardy's career will burn, Sheamus gets the win by DQ over Reigns. That has to be Reigns upset cause he lost the MITB Match. I'm wondering if he may help Brock Lesnar against The Rock at Summerslam. The Authority turns it's back on CM Punk with Shawn hitting Sweet Chin Music on Punk, and now Batista cashes in the MITB Briefcase and wins the WWE Championship. So I'm wondering if Batista's attack was a setup to get rid of John Cena, who knows. But speaking of Cena, when is he going to come back, I don't know, I hope by Survivor Series or Royal Rumble. Great show man,
Note: King of The Ring is up.

July 18, 2013 from the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island
The Smackdown intro video airs as Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everybody to the show! The cameras look all over the Dunkin Donuts Center from Providence, Rhone Island as Cole and JBL talk about how things drastically changed in the WWE this past Sunday and Monday and who knows what to expect tonight! Cole does mention that, however, Stephanie McMahon is here as the commissioner will be making an announcement in regards to the World Heavyweight Championship.
The theme music of Stephanie McMahon hits to some heat from the WWE Universe as she makes her way out to the ramp, a smile across her face. She pats a microphone in her hand and looks all around the arena, "This past Monday on Raw you all saw as the tides changed once again here in the WWE as Dave Batista became the new WWE Champion!" She applauds as the crowd boos very loud, McMahon ignoring their reaction. "My husband and myself managed to kill two birds with one stone within twenty four hours by not only ending the career of John Cena but removing the WWE Championship from an ungrateful champion in CM Punk! However, that is for another time as tonight I am here in regards to the World Heavyweight Championship. Bryan Danielson will have an opponent at Summerslam, ladies and gentlemen, and that will be determined by a Beat the Clock Challenge! And those beat the clock matches will begin... right now." She smiles and heads off towards the back as the theme music of Seth Rollins hits.
Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins defeats Wade Barrett via pinfall in 7:44 in the Beat the Clock Challenge The bell rings and Barrett overpowers the Intercontinental Champion in the early goings. He gets a few near falls as he sends Rollins to the mat repeatedly and goes for an early bullhamer, only for Rollins to duck away and hit a huge superkick. He only gets a two count on the pin attempt, however, and the two continue to go at it. After a couple more minutes of back and forth action, Barrett goes for the Wasteland only for Rollins to slip free and deliver a huge superkick! He hooks both legs up for the three count.
The WWE Universe gives a mixed reaction, mostly boos, to the Intercontinental Champion as he rises onto his feet. It is announced that he is the victor in eight minutes, forty four seconds. He seems satisfied with the victory and slaps his title belt, telling the crowd that he is going to Summerslam and is going to become the World Heavyweight Champion. He exits the ring with a very solid time, three matches left to go in the Beat the Clock Challenge.
Returning, Matt Striker is backstage and he stops Seth Rollins walking down the halls. He asks if he can get a quick word with him and asks how comfortable he feels with his time of seven minutes, forty four seconds. Rollins laughs, "How comfortable am I? Like I said on Monday night, Matt, this past Sunday was my first of defeat but I know I am still a winner and tonight I know for a fact that nobody can stop anybody else like I did to Wade Barrett! I'm confident, I'm comfortable and I'm whatever word you want to use... and once I go to Summerslam and I face Bryan Danielson for the World Heavyweight Championship... everybody will understand why I'm so confident and why I'm the best Intercontinental Champion this company has ever seen!" He heads off, adjusting his title belt over his shoulder.
The cameras transition to ringside where Cole and JBL both mention how Rollins did look good in his match against Wade Barrett to set the standard for the Beat the Clock tonight, but there are still six men vying for that position as number one contender. They move forward and Cole points out how Stephanie called it a change of tides with what happened this past Monday night on Raw. They go back to Monday where Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Stephanie would host the celebration for CM Punk still being the WWE Champion, only for Punk to ask them to stay out of his matches and let him do things on his own. Hunter would say he was making a decision that is best for business, leading to Sweet Chin Music from Shawn and a Pedigree by himself. Batista's theme music would hit and he would come out, cash in his Money in the Bank and after two Batista Bombs he would become the new WWE Champion. Batista, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Stephanie McMahon would stand tall to end the show.
Returning, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman are seen backstage talking to each other. They start to walk forward until Sheamus comes up from behind Reigns, clobbering him across the back! He continues to fire away at Reigns and throws him right into some of the equipment nearby, leading to officials panicking and making their way in between the two to separate them. Sheamus bursts right through, however, and hits Reigns right over the head with a fire extinguisher! The officials continue to pull Sheamus away and he laughs, telling Reigns to watch himself. Heyman yells back, telling Sheamus he is going to regret this.
R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeat Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson via pinfall The match starts off with Truth and Jackson, the latter overpowering early. Truth puts up a fight but Jackson gets him into the corner and begins to make some frequent tags with Ryback. Truth finally manages to send Ryback down to the mat with a huge leaping clothesline and makes his way to his corner, Kingston seeming cautious about making a tag. He puts his hand out, however, and takes it. Kingston runs right in and ducks a big boot from Jackson, whom just got tagged in as well, and takes him into the corner. After a minute, Kingston gets off the shoulders and nails the Trouble in Paradise. Truth charges in and takes Ryback off the other apron and Kingston looks around before hooking the leg for the pinfall.
The crowd gives a small pop as Kingston rises onto his feet, Truth coming right up to him and giving him a hug. Kingston remains cautious, however, and exits the ring slowly. He makes his way up the ramp and towards the back as Truth remains in the ring with his hands on his hips, not sure how to react.
The cameras cut backstage to Randy Orton walking down the halls as he will take part in the Beat the Clock Challenge - next.
Randy Orton defeats Sheamus via pinfall in 6:59 in the Beat the Clock Challenge The bell rings and the two viciously go at it in the early goings. Sheamus gets the upper hand and clobbers Orton with a huge elbow to the face, leading to a big surge of momentum. The Viper strikes with a huge RKO out of nowhere, however, and goes for the pin only to get a two count. Orton beats Sheamus down for a couple of minutes until he is hit with a huge powerslam. Sheamus gets a surge of momentum and pulls Orton between the ropes, clobbering across the chest ten times. He spreads his arms out and yells to the crowd, 'Fella!' and backs to the corner. He pounds on his chest and prepares for the Brogue Kick, Orton ducking away from it though and he runs forward right into the referee. Orton turns right to the Brogue Kick and Sheamus gets fired up. He turns around to Roman Reigns, however, and he blasts The Celtic Warrior with the Superman Punch! He gets up and shakes his head about, Paul Heyman ordering him from the outside. Reigns proceeds to hit Sheamus with a spear and exits the ring, allowing Orton to cover Sheamus for the slow three count.
Reigns and Heyman back up the ramp with smiles across their faces, having gotten their revenge on Sheamus by costing him in the Beat the Clock Challenge. Orton rises onto his feet slowly and taunts to the WWE Universe as he has set the new time to beat - despite his way of victory - in the Beat the Clock Challenge. Sheamus remains laid out on the mat as Orton continues on with his celebration, Reigns and Heyman heading to the back.
Returning, Matt Striker is backstage and introduces his guest at this time to be Randy Orton. He thanks Orton for his time and asks how he feels having set the new time to beat despite the fact that he only won after the interference by Roman Reigns. "As if I wasn't going to win already, Matt! As if I didn't deserve another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship! This past Sunday at Money in the Bank did I get pinned? No! Did I tap out? No!" He stares right at Striker and takes a few deeps breaths before lowering his voice, "I passed out this past Sunday because I refused to give up and because I have the heart of a champion. I am championship material and not Bryan Danielson... tonight, there are two more matches to be had but I guarantee that nobody can beat my time here tonight because they just aren't good enough. I don't care who... they aren't good enough." He stares Striker down once again before heading off, confident in his time.
Back in the arena, the theme music of Bryan Danielson hits and the World Heavyweight Champion makes his way out to the stage with a smile across his face. He gets the crowd going with the 'Yes!' chants and remains atop the stage, a microphone in his hand. "This past Monday I said I didn't know what or who was coming next. But what I also said on Monday is that no matter who or what comes in my way in an attempt to take away the World Heavyweight Championship, I'd do whatever it takes to keep it on my shoulder, around my waist for each and every single one of you. Tonight, eight men try and beat the clock and they try to get a title shot against me at Summerslam. One of those men just said I'm not championship material... that man is Randy Orton." Some heat is given for the mention of the name as Danielson puts his hand up and tells the crowd to calm down. "Look, I faced Randy two years ago at Summerslam and I beat him then. I beat him at Battleground and I beat him at Money in the Bank... if he thinks I'm not championship material now, he never will. But he still may not be the guy I face at Summerslam but whoever it is I wish you the best of luck. Because Providence! I think you know the answer to this... will I put my heart and soul into keeping the World Heavyweight Championship!?" They break out into 'Yes!' chants yet again as he pumps the title belt up and down over his head before heading off to the back.
Cody Rhodes vs Dolph Ziggler goes to a No Contest in the Beat the Clock Challenge The bell sounds as the former rivals clash once again, going back and forth to start things off and Ziggler gets the upper hand following a rake of the eyes. He gets a few near falls and continues to look up at the clock. He ducks underneath a clothesline and hits the Zig Zag, hooking both legs up for another two count. Dolph gets frustrated and starts to yell at the referee, allowing Rhodes to get back into it. Cody gets some near falls and goes for the Disaster Kick, only for Ziggler to duck and hit a huge dropkick that sends him to the outside. The two battle against the barricade and ring apron before getting back in the ring, some back and forth action continuing between the two. Rhodes hits the Disaster Kick after getting some momentum and he goes for the pin, only to get a two count. Both men crawl to the ropes as the clock on the titantron expires, the bell ringing.
The crowd murmurs as both men rise onto their feet, looking to the referee in confusion. He explains that the match is over because neither of them could beat the clock and they both begin to argue with the official over it. Rhodes puts his hands up and backs away, Ziggler continuing to argue. Cody proceeds to run to the ropes and hit the Disaster Kick, dropping Ziggler down! The crowd cheers as Rhodes pops back onto his feet with a laugh as Ziggler rolls out of the ring in frustration.
Returning, a promo video airs behind "We Own It" by 2 Chainz for the upcoming August pay-per-view, Summerslam. The video highlights the history of Summerslam being the biggest event of the Summer and it will take place on August 18, 2013 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California!
Antonio Cesaro defeats Mark Henry via pinfall The match begins with Henry dominating Cesaro in the corner and proceeds to keep him grounded. He gets a little cocky and goes for the World's Strongest Slam, only for Cesaro to elbow himself free. He works Henry all around the ring and ends up taking him down following a top rope uppercut. He gets fired up and takes a hold of both legs, preparing and delivering the Big Swing right in the middle of the squared circle. Cesaro cracks his neck and pulls Henry up slowly, lifting him and hitting the Neutralizer! He hooks the far leg up for the three count.
Cesaro gets onto his feet and takes a few breaths before pumping his fists in the air in signature fashion. He heads to ringside and goes to grab his Money in the Bank briefcase, only to have it shoved right into his face! The production crew member takes off his sunglasses and hat and reveals himself to be Kassius Ohno! He hops into the ring and mounts on top of Cesaro, firing away with punches to the head over and over again. He thrashes Cesaro's head off the mat and lets him get back up before delivering a huge leaping elbow to the back of the head! Kassius takes the briefcase from the mat and stares down at it before raising it over his head with a smile as the Rhode Island fans boo him loudly.
Returning, the theme music of Jack Swagger hits and he makes his way out to the ramp along with Zeb Colter. The latter holds a microphone on his hand and pulls it up, "Fellow Americans, it was just this past Sunday when Jack Swagger here annihilated Rey Mysterio... and even though Sin Cara tried to assault me he was also taught that he would be no match for a Real American like Jack Swagger!" He gets some heat as Colter proceeds to tell the WWE Universe that tonight has been quite a shame. "Wade Barrett was put in a Beat the Clock Challenge match! Sheamus was put in a Beat the Clock Challenge match! Antonio Cesaro is somehow the Money in the Bank holder and you know what, ladies and gentlemen? Those men are not Real Americans like Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Those men don't deserve the opportunities they have been given but the man who does deserve those opportunities is Jack Swagger! But does he get the respect he has earned and deserved? No he does not! But... I promise each and every one of you that Jack Swagger's day is coming. So, we ask of you now to wash away your sins, rise onto your feet, place your hands over your hearts and say in a loud, clear voice: We! The People!"
The cameras cut to backstage where Stephanie McMahon is in her office and on the phone. Randy Orton walks in and McMahon tells the other line she will call them back and hangs up, asking Orton what he needs. "Hello to you too, Steph. I'd just like to let you know that there is no point in having another match tonight because it is quite plain and simple: Nobody is going to beat my time... so why don't you go ahead and call off the final match?" She says she cannot do that, to which Orton asks why. "Well, Randy, I have two men lined up for that match that are very capable of beating your time. No disrespect, Randy, but I did promise four matches and there will be that fourth match. Now, you may be right and they may not beat your time and in which case you shouldn't have to try and get the match called off. So why don't you go ahead, sit back and watch? Okay?" She smiles and heads out, Orton shaking his head in frustration as the final Beat the Clock Challenge match is coming up next.
Returning, the theme music of Alberto Del Rio hits and he makes his way out to the ramp with his arms spread out. He garners some heat from the WWE Universe and makes his way down the ramp and into the ring. He takes the microphone away from Tony Chimel and wags his finger to the crowd, "Tonight! Tonight Alberto Del Rio beats the clock! Tonight Alberto Del Rio does what is his destiny... I am going to win this match no matter who dares to step up against Alberto Del Rio and at Summerslam... destiny will be fulfilled when I beat Bryan Danielson!" He laughs and hands the microphone back off to Chimel. "And his opponent..." Del Rio jogs in place and looks up the ramp, motioning for them to come down to the ring. Suddenly, the lights go down as 'Break the walls down!' is heard, the Providence crowd exploding! Chris Jericho proceeds to come out to the stage with his back turned and arms spread in signature fashion. He makes his way down to the ring as the crowd bursts into a thunderous 'Y2J' chant.
Chris Jericho defeats Alberto Del Rio via submission in 6:56 in the Beat the Clock Challenge The bell rings and Jericho completely takes control of the match right off and gets some near falls early before getting blasted with a huge kick to the face. Del Rio goes for the pin himself but only gets a two count. He works Jericho a bit and uses kicks to knock Jericho around. He goes for a huge kick to the back of the head but Jericho avoids it and attempts to go for the Walls of Jericho, only for Del Rio to get free before it can be locked in and slip out of the ring. Jericho follows him to the outside but Del Rio throws him face first into the steel steps. Alberto continues to control the match for the next couple of minutes and specifically works the arm and sets up for the Rolling Cross Armbar, only for Jericho to slip free and pop to his feet and deliver the Codebreaker! He hooks both legs up for a two count and both men struggle back up, Y2J continuing his momentum. He hits a huge leaping DDT and follows it up with the lionsault. He turns to see the titantron with only about thirty seconds left and Del Rio gets up and runs at Jericho, only to be dropped to the mat and put into the Walls of Jericho! The crowd goes wild as Y2J wrenches away at the hold, Del Rio fighting his way towards the ropes. Jericho refuses to let up, however, and pulls back on the hold as hard as he can - leading to a Del Rio tapping out with just three seconds left!
Jericho lets go of the hold and drops onto both knees, the crowd exploding as he is announced the winner. Y2J stirs back onto his feet and pumps both fists in the air as the referee holds his near arm up. As Jericho prepares to celebrate, the theme music of Bryan Danielson hits to a thunderous ovation from the WWE Universe. He makes his way out with a smile across his face. He laughs and makes his way down the ramp and into the ring, applauding Jericho. He nods as the two come close, Danielson offering a handshake. Jericho takes it and the two embrace as Danielson starts to head toward the ropes, only for Jericho to call him back. The World Heavyweight Champion turns right into the Codebreaker! The crowd once again gives a loud reaction as Jericho gets right back onto his feet, giving a slight laugh as he scoops the title belt up. He throws it over his shoulder and spreads his arms out to the crowd, having sent his message that he is back to become the World Heavyweight Champion and not to make friends. Smackdown comes to an end.

Will post a full reply later but wanted to mention the nice touch of changing the Raw graphic! Good attention to detail doubt most would have noticed.

Chris Jericho makes a shocking return to WWE returning on Smackdown in the Beat the Clock matches with Jericho setting the pace in the main event beating Orton's time to advance to SummerSlam to face Bryan Danielson by beating Del Rio, Jericho vs Danielson for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, Jericho surprising everyone and now that he will be the one facing Danielson at SummerSlam this is like the ultimate dream match right here, this is a match-up I have always wanted to see and now we are finally going to see it at SummerSlam in the main event, probably Danielson's toughest test yet because the last time we ever saw Chris Jericho was WrestleMania 29 in that classic that he had with The Undertaker, ultimate face vs face match-up right here
Look at Orton trying to get Stephanie to cancel the last Beat the Clock Match, he seemed pretty desperate and why? Because he knows that his time could get beaten and it did but now that Orton is out of the World Heavyweight Championship picture it begs the question of what will Orton do now heading into SummerSlam?
Zeb Colter putting his man over, putting Swagger over, yes Swagger isn't getting the opportunities other superstars should be getting and why is that? Swagger is certainly deserving of being WWE Champion or even World Heavyweight Champion but the only way that can happen is if he somehow goes on a huge winning streak or he makes an impact somehow
I have a feeling it will be Cesaro vs Ohno at SummerSlam with the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase being on the line in that match, and if I am right then what better way to put this match on than at SummerSlam? It's perfect and seeing Ohno attack his now-former tag team partner his former best friend yes this rivalry has definitely become heated and I like it
But Cesaro beating Henry, he just continues to prove why he is Mr. Money in the Bank but also proving to all of us that he is a future World Heavyweight Champion especially since he is holding the blue briefcase and he can cash it in any time in the next 12 months, he has up to 1 whole year to cash in that briefcase but he also continues to prove why he is pound for pound the strongest man in the WWE especially if he could beat opponents larger and bigger than he is
I love that the SummerSlam theme song is We Own It, I loved that song in the Fast and the Furious series and for it to be the theme song for SummerSlam, it is only fitting
Honestly I thought this Ziggler/Rhodes feud would be done especially after the matches they have had with each other but no it seems like this feud is starting all over again especially in this Beat the Clock Challenge Match and I say that these men deserve better than this, hell they should be separated from each other and feud with other superstars and not with each other because I just feel like this feud has dragged on for far too long
Danielson has proven exactly why he has Orton's number and if history tells us anything he has owned Orton, beat him 2 years ago at SummerSlam 2011 and then beats him at Battleground 2013 and then at Money in the Bank 2013, yes Danielson just has Orton's number and Orton has never been able to beat Danielson in his career not once but Danielson proving why he is a fighting champion and that he doesn't care who he defends his World Heavyweight Championship against because he believes that at SummerSlam he is walking out of SummerSlam still the World Heavyweight Champion and he very well could, I mean the man has been champion since WrestleMania 29, he has been champion for like how many months now? He has been champion for 4 months now
Randy Orton had the time to beat until it was beaten by Jericho but Reigns costing Sheamus the Beat the Clock Challenge Match against Orton, well Sheamus had to expect that especially after the way he attacked Reigns backstage, so you had to know Reigns and Heyman would return the favor and they did and Orton took full advantage of that but it seems this Sheamus/Reigns feud is taking center stage and I like it, I can definitely see Roman Reigns vs Sheamus at SummerSlam
Kofi didn't seem all that excited about teaming with R-Truth but they still managed to get the victory against Ryback and Big Zeke, this just proves to me that Kofi is not exactly ready to turn babyface just yet but I have a feeling he will if not now then definitely after SummerSlam for sure but yes we did see shades of the old Kofi in this tag team match so it looks like Kofi could be coming around
Recap of what happened on RAW, I love it, the WWE Championship Celebration with CM Punk only for Punk to basically turn on Triple H, Stephanie and HBK only for them to turn on him with Shawn Michaels hitting Sweet Chin Music on CM Punk and then Triple H hitting the Pedigree on CM Punk only for Batista to come in and cash in his Money in the Bank on CM Punk hitting not one but 2 Batista Bombs to win the WWE Championship, you can bet CM Punk is going to want retribution on not only Batista but also on Triple H and on Shawn Michaels and Punk I could see him going after Shawn Michaels first before he gets to Batista next leaving Triple H for last
And if history has proven anything it does show in this diary that CM Punk has Triple H's number especially when they have been in the ring together having matches together Punk has always beaten Triple H
But Sheamus attacking Roman Reigns backstage, I would have never have called Sheamus doing that but since he did, he reminded me of the old Sheamus, he reminded me of the old Celtic Warrior, having that ruthless, barbaric vicious streak, here is hoping Sheamus shows us shades of the old Sheamus showing us shades of the 2009-10 Sheamus
Well Rollins when he said he is the best WWE Intercontinental Champion the WWE has ever seen, well if he can break Honky Tonk Man's record of being the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion then he will very well prove it to us all but doesn't Pedro Morales have the longest WWE Intercontinental Championship reign at 619 days, well Rollins is nowhere near close to that but Rollins he is one of the best IC Champions of recent memory holding the title for over 9 months practically beating challenger after challenger, it makes me wonder if he will defend his title at SummerSlam and if he does then I can for sure somehow see him defending it against Wade Barrett

I know I didn't reply to Raw but I do love how you had Batista cash in. You basically flipped Batista and Punk as face and heel. Smackdown though. Beat the Clock should be fun. Seth Rollins winning is always nice. I dig it. You put 7:44 and then wrote eight minutes and 44 seconds. Not sure about R-Truth and Kofi Kingston beating Ryback and Jackson. They should be built as an absolute monster tag team. Randy Orton beating Sheamus in less than seven minutes is impressive and the interference keeps Sheamus strong. Roman Reigns/Shemus is an original feud and one I'd like to see. Decent Bryan Danielson promo. Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler fighting to a no contest is cool as long as they have a match at SummerSlam or something. Antonio Cesaro winning is great and I'm looking forward to Ohno/Cesaro as a rivalry. Swagger promo was fine, like where he's going. Chris Jericho winning by three seconds over Alberto Del Rio was a great main event and Danielson/Jericho will be awesome. Good show, looking forward to SummerSlam.

July 22, 2013 from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas The Monday Night Raw intro video airs and the cameras come into the Frank Erwin Center from Austin, Texas! Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everybody to the show. Tonight, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will be here to welcome the new WWE Champion, Batista, and explain why he was assisted in becoming the new champion last week on Raw. Also, Chris Jericho will be in the arena for his first appearance on Monday Night Raw since before WrestleMania, The Wyatt Family will address Jeff Hardy and tons of action will be taking place featuring Roman Reigns, Ryan Braxton, Antonio Cesaro, Big E Langston and more tonight on Monday Night Raw!
The theme music of Triple H hits and he makes his way out to the ramp along with Stephanie McMahon. The two smile to the crowd before making their way down to the ring, the commentary team talking about what went down just a week ago and how answers are expected tonight. Hunter takes a microphone from ringside and stands in the middle of the squared circle with a smile across his face as the Austin crowd explodes into a 'You suck!' chant. "You can all boo me and tell me I suck but the fact of the matter is I did what is best for business and what is best for each and every one of you and whether you can accept that or not is a different matter! CM Punk, much like John Cena, had his time pass. He had his time pass and he defied my authority and now! Now look what has happened to him... look what has happened to John Cena!" He shakes his head before saying he doesn't want to waste any more time. He hands the microphone off to Stephanie and she flashes a smile, "Without further ado, ladies and gentleman, the new WWE Champion - Batista!"
The Texas crowd roars with boos as Batista makes his way out all suited up with the WWE Championship over his shoulder. He comes down to the ring and shakes hands with Hunter before giving him a hug and he gives Stephanie a kiss on the cheek. He raises the title belt up to the unhappy WWE Universe and moves back to the middle of the squared circle, Triple H speaking once again. "Ever since I ensured that CM Punk became the WWE Champion at WrestleMania, he has been saying how he didn't need my help. How he didn't need any of my assistance and it has been getting under my skin more and more. So it wasn't long until I gave the call to Dave here and asked him about coming back to the WWE... once he came back I knew he would have the chance to become the WWE Champion and after not being successful at Battleground he managed to win at Money in the Bank and everything came together... everything came perfectly together because my other good friend Shawn Michaels was in the arena and he set the table. John Cena had his career ended, CM Punk remained WWE Champion. Punk responded unhappy, got what he deserved and thus your new WWE Champion... Batista!" The two smile and shake hands as Dave takes the microphone away, holding himself back from saying anything as the fans boo him loudly.
"You know, I've been saying since I've got back somewhat of a new catch phrase - deal with it. So, let me tell you all what you should do about me being the WWE Champion! Deal with it!" He laughs and adjusts the title belt over his shoulder, pointing out to the crowd. "You're all a bunch of crybabies! When you don't get your way, you just keep on whining and whining and you can't do nothin' about it. I was brought back to this company to become the WWE Champion and if it had to be done the hard way then that is just too damn bad." He continues to draw some heat and he shakes his head and tells the crowd to shut their mouths. "You think me cashing in Money in the Bank isn't fair? The lord giveth and the lord taketh away because it was back about five years ago that I helped Punk become the World Heavyweight Champion when I beat the crap out of Edge and let him cash in his Money in the Bank. But then, you all cheered him! When I did it last week all I got was boos and no respect! I don't get you morons! I don't get you! But I don't have to because I am the WWE Champion and not you, not John Cena and not CM Punk! Deal with it!" He stares out to the crowd as the boos get louder.
'Cult of Personality' hits and the Austin crowd roars as CM Punk emerges from the back with his hood pulled up and a microphone in his hand. "You know, Dave, I'm not one to talk about getting helps with victories and such. At WrestleMania it was Triple H who helped me become WWE Champion in the first place. Then at Extreme Rules it was The Wyatt Family, then at Money in the Bank it was Shawn Michaels. But... I feel like I am forgetting something. Oh, I remember! Battleground!" He stares down to the ring as Batista doesn't budge, glaring right back. "At Battleground I beat you without anybody else! You came back and you said you were going to become WWE Champion and it didn't happen until last week... and last week you hit me with two Batista Bombs! Two Batista Bombs! Then you pinned me... but when I got hit with Sweet Chin Music from the Heart Break Kid and the Pedigree from the Cerebral Assassin, that was more powerslam than any Batista Bomb from the pansy ass Animal!" The crowd gives an 'ooh' as Punk and Batista continue to stare down, the WWE Champion removing his sunglasses slowly. Punk continues on, "Back to my main point, though! I may not be one to talk about getting all the help in the world but I can honestly say that without that help I would have been just fine because I am the best in the world! I don't just say I am the best in the world because I can, I say I'm the best in the world because that is exactly what I am! And the best in the world wants his rematch here tonight for the WWE Championship in Austin, Texas!" He gets a thunderous ovation as he widens his eyes as he stares down at the ring, Triple H stepping in front of Batista before he can respond to boos from the WWE Universe.
"Punk, I appreciate your determination." Hunter says, while still receiving some strong heat. "And don't you worry, you will get your rematch for the WWE Championship... just not tonight. As a matter of fact, you won't even get it next week! If you want your rematch, you'll get it at Summerslam." He looks up the ramp as Punk is fuming, saying he wants his match tonight because he doesn't feel like waiting four more weeks to kick some ass. The Austin crowd explodes and breaks out chanting 'CM Punk' as Hunter shakes his head, putting his hand up. "Punk, don't you worry! You don't have to wait four more weeks to kick some ass because I'm going to put you in a match here tonight. A match in which it will give you some preparation for your match with Dave at Summerslam... a match in which I won't tell you your opponent because I haven't just quite figured that out. But I promise you, Punk, it will be very satisfying for you and satisfying for me, because it will be best for business." He drops his microphone to the mat and his theme music hits as he, along with Stephanie and Batista, stare Punk down from the ring, the 'Best in the World' seeming only somewhat content with the decision.
Returning, the commentary team discusses what went down to open the show with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon welcoming in the new WWE Champion, Batista. After bashing the crowd, CM Punk would interrupt 'The Animal' and demand his rematch for the title tonight. Hunter would intervene, however, and set the rematch for Summerslam next month and for Punk to be in action later on tonight.
Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman defeats Christian via pinfall The bell rings and Christian fires away to start things off before Reigns responds with a huge boot to the face. Reigns overpowers Christian for a few minutes and goes for the Superman Punch, only for Christian to duck away and hit the Killswitch. He only gets a two count, however, and he starts to work away at Reigns in the corner. Roman shoves him back and runs right at him and nails the Superman Punch! He shakes his head viciously as Heyman leads him on from the outside and he backs to the corner before delivering the Spear! He hooks both legs up for the three count.
The crowd boos as Reigns rises onto his feet as Heyman applauds him from the outside. "Bravo, sir, bravo!" He shouts as he smiles brightly. He comes into the ring and raises Reigns' arm up and talks in his ear, Roman nodding. He pulls Christian back up onto his feet and pushes him off the ropes before blasting him with the Superman Punch once again! The crowd continues to boo and Reigns gets back up, preparing for another spear. Before he can, however, the theme music of Sheamus hits! The Celtic Warrior comes storming down the ramp and gets into the ring, trading punches back and forth with Reigns. Heyman screams for his client as Sheamus pushes him off the ropes and hits him with the Brogue Kick! Heyman continues to scream and Sheamus turns to him, his eyes lighting up. Paul quickly scurries out of the ring as The Celtic Warrior pounds on his chest and spreads his arms out, absolutely fired up as Heyman assists his client onto his feet as they scramble up the ramp.
Big E Langston defeats Mark Henry via pinfall in the Big E Challenge The match starts off with the two trading shots and Henry overpowering Langston in the corner and takes him down repeatedly. He smack talks Langston and gets a few near falls before Langston begins to come back, sending the World's Strongest Man back. He ends up getting fired up and eventually levels Henry with a big clothesline that sends him to the mat. Big E pulls down the straps and pounds on his chest, allowing Henry to get back up before dropping him with the Big Ending to the shock of the crowd. He gets a solid pop as Henry hits the mat and Langston hooks the leg up for the three count.
Langston rises up onto his feet and pounds on his chest, raising both fists up to the crowd. He gets a solid pop as he marches around the ring in celebration. He exits and backs up the ramp, fists raised up as the commentators go over the replay of the huge Big Ending to the World's Strongest Man.
The cameras transition backstage to Chris Jericho and the Texas crowd explodes in the background. He will be speaking next about his return, becoming the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship and facing Bryan Danielson at Summerslam!
The theme music of Chris Jericho hits and the Frank Erwin Center explodes as Jericho appears on the stage, back turned and arms spread out in signature fashion. He spins around and throws his fists around, all fired up. He makes his way down and into the ring and he stands in the middle as the crowd breaks into a 'Y2J' chant. He holds a microphone in his hands and smiles, looking all around the arena. "WELCOME TO! RAW! IS! JERICHOOOOOO!" He throws his arms up and down as the fans continue to chant his nickname, Jericho laughing. "Last week on Smackdown, I made my return after a four month absence! The last time everybody saw me it was at WrestleMania going one on one with The Undertaker and the streak was on the line and the Dead Man was on the ropes and... defeated Y2J." He shrugs his shoulders as the WWE Universe gives a mixed reaction, Jericho saying that is in the past though. "Last week on Smackdown when I did make my return from a four month absence, I became the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship and in just a few weeks time I will be going one on one with Bryan Danielson! YES!" He starts up the chant and stops himself, as the crowd keeps on going with the popular chant. Jericho tries to tell the crowd to calm down but they refuse, continuing on. He throws his hands up and says he hates to disappoint all of them, but at Summerslam he doesn't care if they love Bryan or not he is going to take the World Heavyweight Championship away. Jericho gets some heat and Y2J just says he is speaking the truth, "I could come out here and say I respect Bryan and that I want to be friends with him but the fact of the matter is the AYATOLLAH! OF ROCK 'N ROLLA! IS BACK TO BECOME THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, BABY!" He snickers and goes to say more, only for Danielson's music to hit to a thunderous ovation.
The World Heavyweight Champion makes his way out from the back and hoists the belt over his head, leading on the regular 'Yes!' chants. He makes his way down the ramp and gets into the ring, staring Jericho down before taking a microphone from ringside. The two continue to stare down as Jericho raises his eyebrows, Danielson saying it is nice to see him again and hopefully things can go different. He refers to last week on Smackdown and the replay shows on the titantron of Jericho hitting him with the Codebreaker after Danielson came out for a handshake. "You know, Chris, I respect you very much. I always have and I always will. But what really irked me about what you had to say here tonight is that whether these people like it or not you're going to take away the World Heavyweight Championship..." Jericho nods and says that he indeed did say that, and he meant it. "The problem with that is, Chris, that I am going to keep the World Heavyweight Championship by any means because these people! These people have led me this entire way to being the World Champion for a second time. As long as I hear them chanting that one word every single night I'm going to do whatever it takes to make sure I give them that reason to keep on doing it! So, with all due respect, Chris... at Summerslam, I plan on making you tap out, raising this title over my head and chant along with the WWE Universe: YES! YES! YES!" He continues to go on as the crowd breaks out into the chants as Jericho nods, giving a smile before backing away to the ropes and exiting the ring - his Summerslam opponent having made his statement.
Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson defeat The Prime Time Players via pinfall The bell rings as Jackson starts things off with O'Neill, the two big men going back and forth in the early goings. Jackson nails a huge big boot and it leads to a tag to Ryback. The two make frequent tags to keep O'Neill from getting to his corner but he eventually fights back against Jackson and makes a tag to Young. He storms right in and ducks underneath a clothesline, hitting a huge dropkick. He gets some momentum going for himself and O'Neill and they start to make tags along with each other, Jackson being hit with the Clash of the Titus. Before a pin can be done, however, Ryback comes into the ring and starts to trade shots with Titus. Young comes in and tries to fight Ryback off but he gets tossed right over the ropes, Ryback proceeding to hit O'Neill with the Meat Hook Clothesline. The referee orders him out of the ring and he complies, allowing Jackson to pull O'Neill back up and hit the Book of Ezekiel. He hooks both legs up for the three count.
The crowd boos as Jackson gets back up onto his feet slowly and Ryback gets back in along with his partner. He raises his arm up before patting his chest and telling O'Neill to 'watch this'. He pulls Titus up and drops him with Shell Shocked. Young comes into the ring and tries to fight with Jackson but gets hit with a huge clothesline. He prepares for the Book of Ezekiel but The Usos theme music hits, the WWE Tag Team Champions running down to the ring. Jackson and Ryback quickly get out of the ring as The Usos storm around the ring, fired up as Ryback and Jackson make their way around the ring and up the ramp, avoiding the tag champions.
The cameras proceed to cut backstage to Matt Striker and he introduces his guest at this time to be Ryan Braxton. He thanks him for his time and welcomes him to the WWE and mentions how last week he made his debut and defeated the United States Champion Dean Ambrose. Striker proceeds to ask if he feels that puts him immediately into contention for the United States Championship. "I've spent quite a while developing myself to become the best I can be," Braxton responds, "The best I can be is a champion. I've come to the biggest and best for the opportunity and I believe I showed last week by beating Dean Ambrose one, two, three in the middle of that ring that I could be the United States Champion. A lot may not like the sounds of that because I'm new here but if anybody wants to try and stop me... they'll understand why I am Unbreakable." He stares off into the distance before walking off.
Jack Swagger with Zeb Colter defeats Antonio Cesaro via pinfall The match begins with Swagger dominating Cesaro in the corner until the Money in the Bank holder blasts him with a huge uppercut. He continues to rock Swagger and sends him up against the ropes, dropping him to the mat with a huge suplex. Cesaro gets tons of moment going in his favor and gets a few near falls and goes for a top rope uppercut, only for Swagger to avoid it and hit him with a big slam. He works him for a minute before Cesaro comes back, dropping him to the mat and setting up for the Big Swing. As Cesaro prepares to go for it, however, Kassius Ohno comes out from the back and makes his way down the ramp. He stops near the ring and Cesaro steps forward, the two trash talking a bit. Cesaro turns right into a huge knee to the gut, followed up by the Gut Wrench Powerbomb! Swagger hooks both legs up for the three count.
The crowd boos as Swagger rolls out of the ring, going right over to Colter. He has his arm raised up by his manager as Ohno hops onto the apron, trash talking Cesaro some more. The World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank holder staggers onto his feet slowly and staggers over to the ropes, Ohno dropping down and throwing his arms out with a smile. He backs up the ramp and heads backstage as Cesaro glares him down in frustration.
Returning, Kassius Ohno is walking backstage and Antonio Cesaro attacks him from behind! The two start to trade shots and Cesaro gets the upper hand, "Whats your problem!? WHATS YOUR PROBLEM, KASSIUS!? ARE YOU JELOUS!?" They start to shove a bit as multiple officials come to break the two up, Kassius saying that he should be the Money in the Bank holder. The cameras pan back into the arena for the following contest.
Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins defeats Rob Van Dam via pinfall in a non-title match The bell rings for the WrestleMania rematch and the two lock up, RVD getting the upper hand following a huge kick to the chest. He starts to get some momentum going and hits the Rolling Thunder even, allowing him to go to the top rope for the Five Star Frog Splash, only for Rollins to put both knees up. The Intercontinental Champion proceeds to hit a superkick but RVD falls through the ropes and out of the ring as a commercial break interrupts. Upon the return, Rollins throws RVD into the corner and beats him down to the mat. He gets tons of momentum going but gets swept to the mat. RVD once again swings momentum back in his favor and nails the Five Star Frog Splash! He hooks both legs up, only to get a count of two. The crowd is surprised as both men get to their feet, trading shots. Rollins ducks away from a spinning wheel kick and hits a huge Superkick! He covers RVD for the three.
The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Rollins staggers back up onto his feet and places his hands on his hips. The referee hands him the Intercontinental Championship and he raises it up high, placing it over his shoulder. RVD gets back onto his feet slowly and offers a handshake to Rollins, Seth looking around the arena before accepting it to a big ovation from the Austin crowd. RVD pats Rollins on the back and gets out of the ring, making his way towards the back. As Rollins goes to raise his title up, however, Randy Orton comes from behind and drops him with a huge clothesline! Orton begins to stomp away to the surprise of the crowd, leading to tons of heat. Orton mounts on top of the Intercontinental Champion and starts to fire away with punch after punch. He rolls out of the ring and hooks a hold of Rollins' head, pulling him halfway out of the ring before dropping him with the DDT onto the hard floor! The crowd boos once again as Orton slowly rises onto his feet, looking all around the arena with a very serious look across his face. He backs away slowly as Rollins remains motionless on the floor, the commentators in shock while questioning why Orton has attacked Seth Rollins here tonight!
Returning, the cameras pan to ringside and Michael Cole talks about what just went down to the surprise of everybody in the arena. They go to the replay of Seth Rollins shaking hands with Rob Van Dam following their match, showing a different side of himself. As he went to celebrate his victory, Randy Orton would attack from behind. Jerry Lawler says that it was random and may just be fury of Orton for not becoming the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship last week. JBL says that Randy Orton can do whatever he wants. As Cole and Lawler go to respond to JBL, the signature of The Wyatt Family hits to a huge reaction from the Frank Erwin Center. The group appears on the titantron, the lantern lit. Bray Wyatt steps forward and gives a chuckle, "Austin... we're here." He blows the lantern out and the group proceeds to make their way out from the back and down to the ring, Bray taking a seat at his rocking chair before blowing the lantern out once again - the lights coming back on a few moments later, the three standing in the middle of the squared circle. They stand in silence under the spotlight as Wyatt clutches a microphone in his hand, looking all around the arena.
"It's funny... it's funny how since you are a child you are told to be respectful! Told to be friends with everybody! FRIENDS!" He laughs hysterically and leans down, "Friends don't come without a price, my brothers... I was raised and told over my years by Sister Abigail, 'Bray... one day you will lead a nation. One day you will lead the children!' When Sister Abigail told me I was to be a leader, I listened and I did just that! I lead the masses, I lead the Wyatt Family and I lead all of you and I lead Jeff Hardy!" He paces back and forth across the ring and continues to laugh between his breaths. He looks around the arena once again before continuing on, "You cheer for Jeff Hardy! You cheer for him and believe that he is a Charismatic Engima! He may have charisma... but he is no enigma... You see, my brothers, I have solved Jeff Hardy and I solved him long ago! It is only a matter of time before he finally accepts himself for what he truly is: A mortal man. A normal man. Just another man who has lost his way and a man who should open his arms up, accept his sins and accept his fate and join me! Join me, Jeff, we can come together... COME TOGETHERRRR... RIGHHHTTT NOWWW... OVVERRR MEEE! Hahaha..." He continues to laugh and drops onto both knees, continuing to sing the classic 'Come Together' by The Beatles, some of the crowd joining in.
Suddenly, the theme music of Jeff Hardy hits to a big pop from the crowd. He makes his way out from the back and rushes down to the ring, a steel chair in his hands. He slides right into the ring and pops right up, driving the chair into the gut of Rowan. He slams it across the back and hits Harper right in the shoulder, only to be caught with a huge clothesline from Wyatt! Bray starts to pound into the head of Hardy and refuses to let up, bringing him back up slowly. He kicks the chair to the middle of the ring and drags Hardy with him, delivering Sister Abigail right onto the chair! The crowd gives a very loud mixed reaction as Wyatt gets onto his knees, spreading his arms out with a laugh over the downed body of the Charismatic Enigma. Harper returns to the side of Wyatt, as does Rowan. Bray slowly pulls up his microphone once again and cups Hardy's head, "Your career, Jeff Hardy... shall burn!" He gives a loud laugh as the signature of The Wyatt Family hits once again.
Ryan Braxton defeats Alberto Del Rio via submission The bell rings and Del Rio runs right into a huge clothesline. Braxton throws him right up into the corner and starts to fire away with punches. He pulls Alberto out and drops him with a hard clothesline. He continues to run through the Mexican Aristocrat over the next few minutes until the former World Champion hits a huge kick to the knee. He works away at Braxton and sets up for the Rolling Cross Armbar, only for 'Unbreakable' to stay on both knees and lift Del Rio right up off the mat and slam him down back first. Both men get back up and Braxton proceeds to knee Del Rio in the stomach and drop him with the Spinning Powerbomb! Instead of going for the pin, however, he proceeds to lock Del Rio up in the Crossface. Alberto struggles in the hold and scrambles his hands about, looking for a way to get out. He can't, however, and has no choice but to tap out.
The WWE Universe cheers Braxton on as he continues to wrench away at the hold. He finally lets go and gets back onto his feet, raising both fists up high. He turns to see Dean Ambrose on top of the stage, applauding sarcastically. The United States Champion adjusts his title belt on his shoulder and pulls a microphone up, "Congratulations, Ryan! Congratulations! You won once again here tonight but I guarantee you that next week on Raw you won't stand a chance against me! YOU WON'T STAND A CHANCE! Because I'm giving you a rematch... and I'm going to put my title on the line." The crowd gives a solid pop as Ambrose raises both eyebrows up and makes his way to the back, Braxton seeming very satisfied with the idea of the United States Championship match.
Returning, a promo video for the upcoming E! reality show, Total Divas, airs. Back live in the arena, Diva's Champion AJ Lee sits at ringside with a headset on, as she will be joining in on the commentary for the upcoming match featuring one of the stars of Total Divas, Nikki Bella.
Nikki Bella with Brie Bella defeats Summer Rae with Fandango via pinfall The match starts off with Summer pushing Nikki right into the corner, slapping her over and over again. Nikki kicks her away, however, and drops her with a huge clothesline. Nikki gets some momentum going and Summer falls behind quickly. She manages to hit a big kick to the face, however, and gets a near fall. Rae begins to argue with the referee, as does Fandango on the outside, and Nikki rolls out of the ring - Brie taking her spot! Summer drops the subject with the official and pulls Brie to her feet, only to be hit with a huge kick to the stomach followed up by the Bella Buster! Brie, or as the referee thinks Nikki, hooks both legs up for the three count.
The crowd cheers as Brie gets onto her feet and is joined by Nikki as Fandango helps Summer out of the ring and leads her off to the back. The Bella Twins dance with each other in the middle of the ring as AJ Lee takes off her headset in disgust, staring at the twins. Nikki and Brie stare back at her and AJ raises the title belt up, saying she doesn't need a reality show. She pulls the title over her shoulder and skips her way around the ring and up the ramp, The Bella Twins rolling their eyes at her.
Back at ringside, the commentators make the announcement that Brock Lesnar will be live in the arena next week along with Paul Heyman in his first WWE appearance since the night after WrestleMania, as he will give his reaction to his WrestleMania rematch coming up against The Rock at Summerslam! But still to come tonight, CM Punk will be in action against an unnamed opponent.
Returning, Cody Rhodes and Goldust are backstage and are talking with each other. Rhodes tells Goldust that he should have won the Money in the Bank last Sunday and he should have won the Beat the Clock Challenge last week on Smackdown. Goldust tells his brother that it just didn't happen and he has to move on. "Move on?" Cody responds with a laugh, "Move on? Bro, maybe you don't understand this because you've never come that close to becoming a world champion like I have... but that is the most important thing to me. I want nothing more in this business than to be a world champion and I should be. I should have been a long time ago! I was competing for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania three years ago and I still haven't been a world champion yet you tell me I should move on? I don't think I can move on. This is what I want! This is what I deserve!" He tells Goldust he is sorry, but he has to go do some thinking. He heads off, his brother left not knowing how to respond.
The cameras transition to Matt Striker and he introduces his guest at this time to be CM Punk. The crowd pops in the background as he steps forward, arms crossed and hood still up. "Punk, thank you for your time and I just wanted to get your thoughts on Triple H and Batista's explanation earlier and your Summerslam match against Batista coming up next month." Punk takes a moment and shrugs his shoulders before saying that anything Triple H and Dave Batista and even Stephanie McMahon have said through the years could easily have holes within them. "I don't know, Matt... I don't know how I feel. All I know is that at Summerslam I want to kick Batista's ass and become the WWE Champion once again. I may have had some assistance along my way to ascending to the top of this company this year but I know I am the best in the world and I know that I can do everything on my own... tonight, I get to face some random opponent and no matter who it is they'll be feeling the wrath that I have built inside of me right now that has been building up for the past seven days." He heads off as the main event is coming up next!
The theme music of CM Punk hits and the WWE Universe explodes as he makes his way out from the back and down to the ring, jogging in place in preparation for the announcement of who his opponent is. 'The Game' by Motorhead hits as the Chief Operating Officer, Triple H, comes out holding a microphone in his hand with a huge smile across his face while WWE Champion Batista and Commissioner Stephanie McMahon stand at his sides. "Punk, I told you earlier tonight that was going to give you preparation going into your match against Dave at Summerslam! So allow me to introduce your opponent... or should I say, opponents!" He backs away and proceeds to put his hand out as each superstar proceeds to make their way out as Hunter announces them: "Brodus Clay! Drew McIntyre! Damien Sandow! Fandango! Ezekiel Jackson! Ryback! The Miz! Jack Swagger! Alberto Del Rio!" He smiles and announces the final one, "Dolph Ziggler!" The ten make their way down to the ring as Batista takes the microphone from Hunter, wishing Punk 'good luck' with a laugh.
Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, The Miz, Ryback, Ezekiel Jackson, Fandango, Damien Sandow, Drew McIntyre and Brodus Clay defeat CM Punk via disqualification The bell rings as Sandow starts things off with Punk, the latter getting the upper hand easily in the early goings. Sandow hooks a hold of the head and backs to his corner, however, and allows McIntyre to tag himself in. The group of ten all work away at Punk one by one, each making tags and keeping him in the corner. Punk finally puts up a fight against Swagger, however, and sends him to the outside with a huge dropkick. The nine other superstars each become eager to get in the ring and Punk urges them on, only for the referee to keep them at bay. A commercial break interrupts and upon the return, Ryback keeps Punk in the opposing corner and works away at him. He takes him back to the other side of the ring and tags in Brodus. He comes in and overpowers Punk, only for a big fight to be put up.by the former WWE Champion. Clay shoves Punk to the ropes and he falls through, staying against the apron. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a steel chair, smacking Clay right across the shoulder as he leans between the ropes! The referee calls for the bell.
The Austin crowd pops as Punk rolls into the ring and blasts Clay once again with the chair! The other nine superstars come into the ring and Punk continues to swing the chair wildly, refusing to let up. He is overpowered, however, and he is left laid out in the middle of the ring. Swagger pulls him up and hits a huge Gut Wrench Powerbomb. Clay proceeds to hit a Big Splash, Ryback with the Meat Hook Clothesline, Ziggler with the Zig Zag and Del Rio with the armbar. He finally lets up as Triple H tells him that is enough from atop the stage. He, Stephanie and Batista all make their way down to the ring and The Animal hops onto the apron, handing his title belt down to Hunter. He steps into the ring and removes his suit jacket and shirt. He pulls Punk up and takes him by the neck, shoving him into the corner. He hits a couple of shoulders to the stomach and drags Punk right back to the middle of the ring, delivering the Batista Bomb! He gets right back up and storms around the ring, taking the steel chair from the mat. He stands over Punk and continues to yell at him before dropping the chair across the chest vertically! He continues to drive it down over and over again and eventually throws it away, looking all around at the booing WWE Universe. Triple H and Stephanie come into the ring and Hunter hands off the title belt to Batista as he raises it up high to the booing crowd. "Deal with it!" He shouts, as Monday Night Raw comes to an end.

allright AJ, Monday Night RAW. A great start with Batista and the Authority and CM Punk, personally I think Punk will win the championship back at Summerslam, but Batista is most likely to win the match cause of the mind games, Another nice victory for Roman Reigns over Christian and that certainly builds up his big feud with Sheamus. Henry takes the Big E Challenge against Big E Langston, what great strength and a big win for Big E by hitting the Big Ending, this guy is unstoppable, I can see him being World Heavyweight Championship potential cause Black people can't win the WWE Championship and I don't mean it racistly, the World Heavyweight Title should be around Big E's waist. Great to see Jericho back in his Y2J ways, he tried to tame The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania but can he take the World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam. A nice win for Ryback and Jackson over the Primetime Players getting them back in contention for the WWE Tag Team Championship, A nice win by Swagger, but the fight between Cesaro and Ohno is going to be crazy to say the least, nice non-title win for Seth Rollins against RVD. Orton targeting the Intercontinental Title, what. Orton's been targeting the World Title, and now he wants the Intercontinental Championship. The Wyatts of course lay out Jeff Hardy, And another nice win by Braxton over Del Rio, I hardly know any of these guys whether they're from NXT or so, Braxton gets a title match against Ambrose, I knew this was going to come with Braxton's win weeks ago against Ambrose, Nice win for the returning Nikki against Summer Rae. Hopefully we will see a pipe-bomb promo like we saw in real life from AJ Lee. It's just a matter of time, You had Punk against 10 guys, obviously this is Triple H's abuse of power, Cause the man that once became his friend is now his enemy. Punk gets beaten by these guys and it has The Authority standing tall at the end, I don't think Punk obviously stands a chance, but I can agree with TG11 on the issue, I bet a fair chance that Triple H's job could come to an end, I don't see it happening at Summerslam, I see it happening at Survivor Series. An Elimination Match perhaps. Great RAW show. Wer'e almost on the road to Summerslam, can't wait.

great to start RAW off with Batista and HHH/Steph coming out to explain their actions, Batista getting the boos comes as no surprise. Announcing the rematch of Punk v Batista is the right thing to do, i just wonder how the match will ultimately turn out. still liking the pairing of roman reigns and paul heyman, i like the push reigns is getting and hope he gets a world title shot in the future. wasn't entirely intrigued by the big e/mark henry match, but a good showing for big e nonetheless. Chris Jericho is back!!!!! winning the beat the clock challenge is huge for jericho in his return. can't wait for his title match. the team of ryback and ezekiel is working for you and they get a good win against the prime time players. Cesaro losing to Swagger, that was a surprise, but a good one. I'm guessing we may see ohno vs cesaro for the briefcase at summerslam perhaps? Orton dropping down from the main event to the mid card to face off against rollins, should be a very interesting feud for the belt. i see bray wyatts got a new song to sing to the fans, and the jeff hardy/wyatt saga continues, can't wait to see where this goes, plus your portrayal of wyatt is great. i haven't really followed wrestling lately so i am not sure who ryan braxton is, but i see you are pushing him early in his debut, so he must be someone worth watching. Nikki Bella moving up in the diva world? Brock Lesnar return? hmmmmm, interesting. i think cody rhodes should move on and take goldust's advice. cm punk did what he could and had to disqualify himself to get rid of the annoyance that hhh and steph set for him, but then batista comes out once again, and drops the contender in the ring to end RAW. good ending.

I missed the last week of shows, but I do want to praise the double turn with CM Punk and Batista. I much prefer them as a face and a heel respectively. Onto MONDAY NIGHT RAW, great way to start things off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon introducing the new WWE Champion, Batista. Heeltista is where's it at. I do like the mention of Punk' cash in from 2008. Looking forward to the rematch at SummerSlam, and I am intrigued as to who Punk's mystery opponent is tonight. Solid opening contest victory for Roman Reigns. Sheamus' involvement afterwards was fine to build up to something bigger with Reigns. Would be a good, physical feud I think. Big E Langston then getting a huge victory over Mark Henry was cool to see, especially the massive Big Ending. This whole "Big E Challenge" thing has been going on for a while now without much accomplished other than getting him over as a face. That's my only issue with this concept at the moment. Hopefully, someone defeats Big E soon so he can be placed in a proper program. Next, good return promo for Chris Jericho, hyping the World Heavyweight Championship match against Bryan Danielson at SummerSlam. I actually wouldn't be opposed to a Jericho victory. Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson going over the Prime Time Players was expected. The Usos making the save was fine, hoping that this feud wraps up soon, though. I just can't get into Ryback and Zeke as a unit, or on their own for that matter. A decent backstage promo from Ryan Braxton. I don't see him defeating Dean Ambrose for the United States Championship, which makes me wonder where he'll go if that's the case. Hah, Jack Swagger versus Antonio Cesaro. A good match, though, and surprised that Swagger was able to get the victory. Liked the interference from Kassius Ohno, though. The Kings of Wrestling explode! You jelly, Kassius?! Huh?!? Seth Rollins defeating Rob Van Dam in a WrestleMania was great, and the aftermath with the handshake was a fine way to turn Rollins face. Though it was cut short by Randy Orton's attack. It came off as abrupt, but I absolutely love the idea of a Rollins/Orton feud. Up next, great segment between The Wyatt Family and Jeff Hardy. As I've said before, this feud has been one of the highlights of the diary for the past few months. Should culminate in a sweet gimmick match at SummerSlam. Holy hell, Alberto Del Rio submitted to Braxton? That's huge. I'm fully expecting a dirty finish to his United States Championship match against Dean Ambrose next week. Nikki Bella going over Summer Rae was fine to both promote Total Divas and build what appears to be a rivalry between AJ Lee and the Bella Twins. As long as AJ comes out on top in the feud, all is well. Tension between Cody Rhodes and Goldust has been expected. Kind of bummed with Rhodes' positioning as of late. He looked like a viable main eventer up until Extreme Rules, then it all suddenly stopped. I do hope that after the inevitable feud with Goldust, he can re-establish himself. Lastly, CM Punk having to compete against ten other superstars makes sense, as did the disqualification. It's similar to what has been done with The Shield in real life, though. Nonetheless, a fine main event and segment to follow. Loving Batista in this role. A good RAW overall.

AJ few thoughts from the last week or so...
Batista's new Champ, Punk's a face and Cena's out!
I would like to take a second first off all to pat myself on the back for calling it!! Ok that's enough
You did it better than I thought with the HBK twist! I'll give you that. Overall though last weeks Raw I couldn't get into for whatever reason until the final segment where the title changed hands if I'm being honest it just never clicked for me not even the opening with Rock and Heyman but it leads to a big match at SummerSlam.
Jumping ahead a little for SummerSlam card already looks impressive...
Jericho came back as a face on Smack Down and won beat the clock to earn a shot at Bryan. I enjoyed SD and it set up a big match.
Raw returned to form this week too with the Authority storyline continuing well and Punk/Batista being made.
Again nice touch with the graphic switch.
One thing I have noticed is that you are having a lot of guys kicking out of finishers it worked for Rollins against Sheamus a few weeks back it's losing it's effect now.
Rollins/Orton will be ace - Kassius/Cesaro is ace
Been a big week or so for you, which has at times been great. Good work I feel like you could do with emptying your roster a bit now though freshen things up a little more.

Batista opening up the show with Triple H and Stephanie and then Punk interrupting them I loved it because it really sets the pace for their rematch and if it happens at SummerSlam with the WWE Championship on the line then I am all for it, loved Batista bringing up his history with Punk on Punk's cash-in on Edge in 2008 to become World Heavyweight Champion was with Batista's help because that is true
I wonder who Punk's opponent will be in the main event tonight?
Roman Reigns beating Christian and just when he is about to punish Christian some more, Sheamus making the save and leaving Reigns laying, yes I guarantee it'll be Reigns vs Sheamus at SummerSlam
Big E. wins yet another Big E. Challenge this time taking on The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry and beating him, yes Big E. is quite possibly on the roll of his life right now, he is unstoppable he has been developing something of an undefeated streak lately and with this Big E. Challenge he could get a real push off of this
Jericho vs Danielson at SummerSlam, can't wait for that
