Good opening to Raw. Decent first match between Reigns and Christian, it was nice having Sheamus get some payback for that DQ last week. Big E beating Mark Henry was good, made Big E look more legit. That segment with Jericho and Bryan was a good build up to there match at Summerslam, can't wait for it. The tag team match was ok, Usos vs. Ryback/Jackson would be interesting. I'm interested in what's ahead for Braxton. The Cesaro and Ohno feud is getting interesting, having Ohno cost Cesaro his match was a good. Great match between Rollins and RVD. I'm guessing Orton is going after the IC title since he attacked Rollins. I'm absolutely loving the Jeff Hardy and Bray Wyatt feud. I'm wondering if Hardy will put his career on the line in a match against Wyatt after he said "Your career, Jeff Hardy... shall burn!". Lesanr coming back next week should be interesting. I'm sensing some tension between the Rhodes Brothers. Having Punk get his ass kicked due to unfair odds was good, it adds more to the feud between him and the Authority with Batista. Good Raw overall. Check out WWE 13-14.

July 25, 2013 from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas
The Smackdown intro video airs as Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everybody to the show from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. Tonight, World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson will be speaking and Chris Jericho is expected to appear. Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins will call out Randy Orton, WWE Champion Batista will be in the arena and Roman Reigns will go one on one with his recent rival, Sheamus!
The theme music of World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson hits and he makes his way out to a thunderous ovation from the WWE Universe. He hops down the ramp, pumping his title belt up and down over his head as the crowd breaks out into chants of 'Yes!' as expected. He gets into the ring and takes a microphone from ringside, shaking his head. "You know, I don't think I'll ever get used to hearing thousands of people shouting that word every night!" He laughs as the Corpus Christi crowd continues on. "Last week on Smackdown, Chris Jericho made his triumphant return after being gone since WrestleMania! He became the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship and now we will face each other one on one at Summerslam..." The crowd gives a solid pop as Danielson says that he knows, he knows. "I respect Chris. I really, really do. We both have similar wrestling styles. We both like to make other guys tap out, we both like to go at a fast pace... then we're even similar in the way we present ourselves." He points to his beard and then to his hair, "We love to have odd hair styles! We also love to get the crowd going one way or another! He likes to say NEVVVERRRR!" The crowd finishes it off with the 'ever!' and Danielson laughs, saying they all know what they say with him. They break out into the 'Yes!' chants once again and Danielson goes to say more but the theme music of Jericho hits to a big pop from the crowd, Y2J making his way out from the back and down to the ring with a smile across his face.
Jericho holds a microphone of his own and tells Bryan it is nice to see him again. "Since you are talking about comparisons, I just felt like I had to come out here and get in on it! This year at WrestleMania 29 was a big year for the both of us. You walked in with the Money in the Bank briefcase and you did what only one other man did... you cashed in ahead of time and you lived up to it, and you ended up becoming the World Heavyweight Champion for the second time in your career. Almost exactly two years apart! The funny thing about the Money in the Bank is that the guy that invented it is, well, the ayatollah! Of rock 'n rolla! So you're welcome!" He throws his arms out and laughs as the WWE Universe gives a slight reaction as Danielson snaps back saying that it is kind of ironic that the guy that invented it has never won it. Jericho bites down on his lip and tells Danielson that was a good one. "It really was, it really was a good one... but let us not forget that I was the guy to beat The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in the same night and became the Undisputed Champion, junior!" The two stare down and each crack a slight smile, Y2J continuing on with what he was saying. "At WrestleMania 29 we all witnessed the uproar of Bryan Danielson as he became World Heavyweight Champion for a second time and in the exact same night we saw as yours truly went toe to toe with The Undertaker. The Dead Man! The man who holds the streak and the man who had won twenty consecutive matches at WrestleMania and while I took him to the edge he just was a tad bit better... not by a lot, but he was the better man. My point is, Bryan, that I took these four months off and I've spent time with my friends and family and I've spent time with my band and I've thought long and hard about coming back and I honestly wasn't sure if I would... but I did come back and I came back to become the World Heavyweight Champion and I'm determined that at Summerslam I will be the better man."
The two continue to stare each other down until the theme music of Stephanie McMahon hits, the Commissioner making her way out to loud boos from the Texas fans. She holds a microphone in her hand and stays atop the stage as Danielson and Jericho both turn and look up to her. "Gentlemen, gentlemen. As much as I love to hear the back and forth between two of the most popular superstars the WWE has, we must continue on with the show. However, these people will get to see you later on tonight as I have decided for tonight's main event it will be the World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson... teaming with the number one contender Chris Jericho... against the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos!" The crowd seems satisfied with the main event as Danielson and Jericho lock eyes, having learned they will be teammates tonight.
Dolph Ziggler defeats Cody Rhodes with Goldust via pinfall The bell rings and the two exchange shots back and forth, Ziggler getting the upper hand quickly. He sends Rhodes into the corner and blasts him with a huge kick to the face. Ziggler gets a few near falls before Rhodes can get back into the match. Cody gets aggressive and refuses to let up until the count of four on the referee multiple times as he assaults Ziggler in the corners. He sets up for Cross Rhodes but Dolph manages to get free and shove him off the ropes, hitting a huge dropkick. Dolph turns momentum completely in his favor and ends up laying Rhodes out with a huge Zig Zag following a miss off the top rope. He hooks both legs up for the pinfall.
The crowd boos as Ziggler rises onto his feet, both fists raised up high. He runs his hands through his hair and flicks them at Rhodes before exiting the ring, making his way to the back with a cocky smile across his face. Rhodes gets onto his hands and knees as Goldust comes into the ring, checking on his brother. Cody gets up and shoves him away to a gasp from the crowd. Goldust tries to reason with his brother but Cody just shakes his head, puts his hands up and gets out of the ring on his own. He makes his way up the ramp with his hands on his hips and his head down low, Goldust not sure what to do with his brother.
Returning, the cameras are in the parking lot as a limousine pulls up, the driver getting out and opening the door. The WWE Champion, Batista, proceeds to step out with his title belt over his shoulder to strong boos in the background. He adjusts the title belt and starts to walk forward, as Michael Cole and JBL remind everybody of how The Animal will be speaking tonight on Smackdown for the first time since winning the WWE Championship.
R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeat The Prime Time Players via pinfall The match begins with Truth and O'Neill, the former getting the upper hand in the early goings. He gets a huge surge of momentum but is hit with a big spinning slam by Titus out of nowhere. The Prime Time Players proceed to get things going with back and forth tags to one another. Truth manages to fight back against Young, however, and makes the hot tag to Kingston. Kofi looks to Truth and slowly enters the ring and takes a few moments before getting some encouragement from Truth and the crowd. He starts to move around quickly around the ring and he goes through a huge wave of momentum on Young and ends up finishing him off with the Trouble in Paradise! He hooks both legs up for the three.
The crowd gives a decent pop as Kingston rises onto his feet, Truth soon joining him in the ring. He tries to get Kingston going and O'Neill comes into the ring, helping Young onto his feet. They look to Truth and Kofi and move forward, talking with them. Truth steps forward and joins the Prime Time Players in the 'millions of dollars, millions of dollars' swing. Kingston remains off to the side, not joining in on the swing. He puts his hands up and Titus grabs him by the arm, pulling him in quickly. He forces Kingston into the dance and Kofi cracks a smile, the commentary team and the three in the ring all pointing it out.
The cameras pan backstage to 'The Celtic Warrior' Sheamus as he will be in action against his rival Roman Reigns - next.
Sheamus defeats Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman via count out The bell sounds and the two immediately explode, going back and forth with each other with punches and kicks. Reigns takes a break and gets out of the ring, Sheamus following only to be blasted with the Superman Punch! Reigns pulls Sheamus back up on the apron and hits him with the huge signature leaping kick to the face. Reigns gets into the ring and hooks both legs up for a two count. Reigns continues to dominate for another minute until the Celtic Warrior puts up a big fight. He gets a huge wave of momentum going in his favor and he delivers the Brogue Kick out of nowhere! Before he can go for the pin, however, Reigns slowly rolls out of the ring and backs to Heyman. The two start to go towards the ramp as the WWE Universe boos loudly, Sheamus left in the middle of the ring with his hands on his hips as the referee ends up reaching a count of ten.
Reigns and Heyman continue to back up the stage as Sheamus motions for them to come back down to the ring, only to get no response. Heyman, instead, instructs his client to go to the back and he listens - the Celtic Warrior left leaning across the ropes, clearly frustrated with the back out of the fight by Reigns.
The cameras pan backstage to show Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins as he will be addressing Randy Orton's attack on him on Monday next.
Returning, the theme music of Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins makes his down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He steps right into the ring and keeps the title belt over his shoulder while taking a microphone from ringside. He looks all around the arena and then up the ramp, "This past Monday on Raw... I won my match. Afterward, I was celebrating my victory when out of nowhere I was attacked by Randy... Orton." He stares up the ramp as the crowd boos the mention of The Viper's name. The titantron shows the replay of Orton attacking Rollins from behind before laying him out with the hung DDT to the outside of the ring. The cameras come back into the arena as Rollins bites down on his lip while glaring at the titantron, the WWE Universe booing loudly. "Now, I haven't been the nicest guy since I showed up here about a year ago but as far as I can remember, I don't recall me ever giving Randy Orton any reason to try and end my career. So, Randy, I invite you to come down to this ring and explain yourself before I go to the back and beat you down until I get answers myself!" He stomps around the ring as the WWE Universe starts to get behind him.
'Voices' hits as Randy Orton makes his way out from the back slowly as the crowd boos him loudly. The Viper stays atop the stage and stares Rollins down, asking what kind of answers Rollins is looking for. The Intercontinental Champion responds by telling Orton he wants to know why he was targeted and Orton laughs. "You see, Seth, in the past couple of months I've been in search of becoming the World Heavyweight Champion and I've been screwed over and over and over again. Last week here on Smackdown was no different when the Beat the Clock Challenge took place because I should have won! I should be going to Summerslam and getting another title shot but I just happened to get screwed once again. I could go on and on about how that clock was wrong and that Chris Jericho didn't really beat my time by three seconds but nobody is going to listen to what I have to say because that is just the way it is around here! So let me just put it out there and plain and simple, Seth, you were my next best option. If I can't become the World Heavyweight Champion as I should be I'll just become the next best thing and I'll take the Intercontinental Championship away from you..." He smiles as Rollins stares him down, Orton saying Rollins should just hand the belt over to him right now. Seth laughs, "That's funny, Randy. If you think I'm going to just hand my belt over after nine months then you're more delusional than I thought! But I'm not going to back down from you... so if you want a shot at my title! You got it! Let's do it! Let's do it at Summerslam!" He leans across the ropes as The Viper grins, saying that'll be the biggest mistake of his career. He drops his microphone and backs away through the curtains, Rollins continuing to stare him down.
Returning, Antonio Cesaro's theme music hits as the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank holder makes his way out from the back to a solid pop from the crowd. He makes his way down to the ring and comes to ringside, joining the commentators for the upcoming match.
Kassius Ohno defeats Wade Barrett via pinfall The bell rings and the two go back and forth immediately, swinging momentum back and forth. Ohno begins to deliver some vicious elbows and slams and he gets some near falls in the process. Ohno continues to stare at Cesaro in the process and it allows Barrett to get back into the match, dropping Kassius with a huge boot to the face. Barrett hits a series of slams and tosses Ohno off the ropes, missing the Bullhammer Elbow. He goes for the Wasteland but Ohno slips free and hits off the ropes, nailing a hard discus elbow to the back of the head! He rolls Barrett over and hooks both legs up for the three.
Ohno rises onto his feet and pumps both fists in the air, leaning over the ropes while trash talking Cesaro. He motions for him to come into the ring and the Money in the Bank holder removes his headset, running right into the ring. The two trade shots back and forth with each other and Cesaro manages to duck down and take Kassius to the mat by the legs, preparing for the big swing. Ohno just barely is able to struggle free, however, and he rolls right out of the ring. He stumbles back towards the ramp as Cesaro storms up to the ropes, leaning over as Kassius stumbles onto his feet - pointing at his former tag team partner. The two trash talk one another as Ohno continues to back away.
United States Champion Dean Ambrose defeats Rob Van Dam via pinfall in a non-title match The match starts and RVD gets the upper hand early, rocking Ambrose all around the ring. He hits a few hard kicks and sends Ambrose to the mat, following it up with the Rolling Thunder. He goes for the Five Star Frog Splash but before he can even leap off the turnbuckle, Ambrose pops up and throws himself at the ropes to drop RVD down. He hits him with a huge superplex and gets a near fall. Ambrose gets some momentum going and gets two count after two count. After some frustration, he goes for the Headlock Driver only for RVD to break free, sweeping him down to the mat. He goes for the Five Star again but Ambrose pulls both knees up! He gets right onto his feet and knees RVD right in the groin as the referee is backed into an awkward angle! The crowd boos as Ambrose hits the Headlock Driver and hooks both legs up for the three.
The crowd continues to boo as Ambrose gets onto his feet, snatching his title belt away from the referee. He looks to the main camera, "You see that, Braxton!? YOU SEE THAT!?" He proceeds to mount right on top of RVD and starts to pound away at his head with forearms and elbows. The referee forces him off and Ambrose whips his head around violently, storming off to the ropes. He drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring, storming his way up the ramp as RVD is left on the mat covering up his face in pain.
The cameras pan backstage to WWE Champion Batista as he will be speaking - next.
Returning, the theme music of Batista hits to thunderous boos by the WWE Universe. The Animal makes his way out from the back with the WWE Championship over his shoulder and he gives a laugh to the American Bank Center. He comes down to the ring and steps right in, taking a microphone from ringside. "Well, well, well! Look whose back!" He laughs as the heat continues to come towards him, The Animal not seeming to care. "It was last Monday night when I cashed in my Money in the Bank and I became the WWE Champion! When I did that, you all booed me! But guess what? You're going to just have to deal with it! Hahaha! I came back to the WWE for one reason and one reason only and it was to win the WWE Championship and I did just that." He looks all around the arena and goes on about how Triple H brought him back because it was best for business and what is best for business and making 'The Animal' the WWE Champion. "CM Punk? Yeah, he had his time! He had his time but he didn't show respect to authority and he never will. He tried to, but we all knew deep down that he couldn't do it... now, he practically has nothing! I mean, what does he have? All of you on his side? Please! You all are a bunch of morons and what you think means nothing! I'm the WWE Champion, not CM Punk, and I'm going to be the WWE Champion after Summerslam! Deal with it!" He laughs again and drops the microphone to the mat, holding the title belt high up over his head. He throws it back over his shoulder and exits the ring to boos from the WWE Universe.
The cameras cut backstage to Matt Striker and he introduces his guests at this time to be the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos. He thanks them for their time and asks what they think about getting the chance to face the World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson as well as the number one contender for that title, Chris Jericho. Jimmy and Jey put their arms over each other's shoulders and Jey says it is a great opportunity. "The World Heavyweight Champion? One of the greatest superstars of all time? It really is a great opportunity and win or lose, we're going to give it all we've got." Jimmy agrees with his brother and says that they aren't intimidated or anything. "We respect those two guys but tonight, they are our bitter rivals. We might shake their hands after the match but once that bell rings, we're gonna show why we're the WWE Tag Team Champions! When we say Uce, y'all say Oh! UCE!" The crowd shouts the 'oh' afterward in the background as the two head off for the main event coming up next.
WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos defeat World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho via pinfall in a non-title match The bell rings as Jimmy and Danielson start off, shaking hands with each other. The World Champion dominates in the early goings and keeps Jimmy grounded, locking him up in multiple submission holds. Jimmy puts up a big fight against the World Champion, however, and makes a tag to Jey. He comes in only to be launched right through the ropes. Danielson proceeds to dive right through the ropes and take out both The Usos. The crowd gets fired up and a commercial break follows. Returning, Danielson remains in the match as Jericho remains not tagged in at all. The Usos continue to work Danielson but he manages to escape from the frequent tags and cornering and he makes the tag to Jericho. He runs right in and sends both Usos to the mat and hits a series of springboards, including the Lionsault. He is caught off guard by a superkick, however, and he collapses outside of the ring next to Bryan. They get right up to Jimmy and Jey launching over the top rope! After a minute of composing themselves, all four men stagger back up. In the ring, Jericho kicks out of a pin and starts to fight back against Jey. He catches the legs and sets up for the Walls of Jericho, only for Danielson to hit him with the Running Knee out of nowhere! The crowd pops as Y2J falls right to the mat, allowing Jey to hit the Big Splash from the top rope and hook both legs up for the three.
Danielson backs up the ramp with a smile as The Usos celebrate their victory, looking up the ramp to Bryan and sharing a 'Yes!' chant with him and the crowd. Jericho sits up in the corner and looks up the ramp at his Summerslam opponent, giving a slow nod - understanding that Danielson was just turning the tables on him from last week. The World Heavyweight Champion holds his title belt up high as Smackdown comes to an end.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 15th July 2013...Alright, the fallout of Money in the Bank! Huh, where did John Cena go? The Rock opening up the show was massive and for sure prepared the seams for SummerSlam next month, was this promoted or a shock return? Would be cool either way. Nice to see you're using a similar storyline to when Brock Lesnar and Triple H feuded, I don't think Lesnar and Rock would have a superb match, though. I dunno, we'll see. A big main event set up for SummerSlam, the number two pay-per-view of the calendar year. Paul Heyman's response to Rock and their interaction I can imagine was priceless. Big confrontation here. Antonio Cesaro had a decent opening contest with a win against Alberto Del Rio, would be an interesting bout, I believe. Probably quite a stiff encounter if given the chance. Cesaro as the Money in the Bank briefcase holder is good, I can dig him being a future World Heavyweight Champion. The Usos going over the Prime Time Players made sense, strengthening Jimmy and Jey Uso as the WWE Tag Team Champions. I see Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson will be their next challengers, which could make for a dynamic match of styles. Strange reading big Zeke booked in 2013. Jeff Hardy and the Big Show seem to be having a similar storyline to Daniel Bryan and CM Punk had with the Wyatt Family. If you follow suit with Jeff being transformed into a Wyatt Family member, I could totally get behind that. That would make for an awesome storyline. Batista's promo was good, lots of talk time on this show and understandably so. Also a lot of star power going into these shows. Bleh, Batista could be the next WWE Champion due to winning the Money in the Bank briefcase last night, and I couldn't care less. Dolph Ziggler getting a win against Wade Barrett made for fun, and I like the heelish reaction from Ziggler. R-Truth and Kofi Kingston in a tag team I never ever cared for, but okay. Strange segment, what could this lead to? Also what stunt? Could have been elaborated on. Keep in mind that was a year ago now. Big E Langston beating Rob Van Dam was great, establishing Langston - is the Big E Challenge like the White Boy Challenge? I dig it anyway, if you're going with the 5-count rule. I'm liking the display of significence going forth on the midcard division, you have a pretty nice balance of star power with midcard power here. Nice promo from Dean Ambrose, very heelish, too. Ryan Braxton eh? Heh. Braxton getting the win against the United States Champion in his debut should definitely line him up for a title shot, and I wouldn't mind seeing the title change hands. I don't really think Ambrose needs that belt. The Bella Twins with a win against Layla and Aksana, okay. AJ Lee has a target on her back etc etc. Vengeful Bray Wyatt wants Jeff Hardy's soul! I could get behind this. Sheamus with a win against Roman Reigns was fine, I liked the disqualification finish and all, but this could and should definitely be a pay-per-view match sometime soon. I could get behind that. Finally, a masterful storyline to close the show, choc full of eventful moments. I liked how Triple H and the Authority faction double-crossed CM Punk, and it sets up a nice angle going into the summer - and Batista winning the WWE Championship was expected though I don't really care for it. I think we could have gone without the Batista promo earlier on if this was going to be the case. It would have added to shock value a lot. A massive show with a lot of key storyline development taking place. Great stuff, and a decent show. I wish it was more condensed though, this format is really hard to keep attached to, makes the show seem x500 longer than it is. I'll keep up with this the best I can.

Loved the way you opened up Smackdown with the World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson and his SummerSlam opponent Chris Jericho in the same ring at the same time this is why I love Smackdown so much because of moments like this and these 2 going back and forth with them talking about Mania 29 and how Jericho almost ended the streak but didn't get the job done but that now he is more focused than ever before because the one thing he wants more than anything is to become the World Heavyweight Champion again and then bringing up how Danielson became the second man in history to win the Money in the Bank briefcase and cash it in ahead of time giving the champion notice to become champion for the second time in his career, I love it but then here comes Stephanie McMahon as a buzzkill ruining the moment and announcing that in the main event tonight it will be Danielson & Jericho teaming up to take on the WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos, can't wait but can Danielson really trust Jericho? Or vice versa?
Dolph beating Cody, and then after the match when Goldust tries to console Cody, Cody pushes Goldust away and doesn't even let his brother comfort him, can we be expecting a heel turn from Cody Rhodes? Is there tension between the Rhodes brothers?
Batista is in the building, the WWE Champion on Smackdown, Batista showing up on Smackdown for the first time since becoming the new WWE Champion, I can only wonder what Batista will do or say
R-Truth and Kofi Kingston beating the Primetime Players, it makes me wonder if Kofi and Truth are going to be teaming with each other again as a tag team? If this is the case then I am all for that but it seems that we are seeing flashes of the old Kofi, the old lovable Kofi that we all know and love perhaps his babyface turn will be solidified soon enough but if Kofi and Truth become a team again they can challenge The Usos for those WWE Tag Team Championships
Sheamus beats Roman Reigns all be it by countout by still Sheamus in the history books it will show us that he did beat Roman Reigns but Roman Reigns the reason why he walked out on the match obviously was because he wanted no part of Sheamus, he lived to fight another day because he knows that he not only has Sheamus right where he wants him but Sheamus I can see him being attacked by Reigns once again but I can see this match happening again but it will happen at SummerSlam
Orton vs Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam, this is probably the biggest match of Rollins' career but probably his life because his awesome reign, his lengthy title run with the IC Title is in serious jeopardy especially if he is facing Orton, but seeing this happen at SummerSlam this match will be a classic
Cesaro on commentary for Ohno's match I can't wait
Ohno beating Wade Barrett, and then after the match Ohno and Cesaro get into it, these 2 men will tear each other apart guaranteed because these men whenever they see each other they attack one another, it is a classic case of friends turned bitter enemies, all going back to jealousy because it was bound to happen and I think these 2 will go at it at SummerSlam just my gut feeling
Dean Ambrose the WWE United States Champion beating RVD definitely came as no surprise to me because of the fact that it puts Ambrose over even more as the champion but with him winning this match it definitely is a direct message sent to Ryan Braxton but I wonder what Braxton will do to follow up?
Loved Batista's promo on Smackdown because I guess it puts him over as Triple H's handpicked champion even more, and also because of Batista & Triple H's history being members of Evolution but also being great friends too, it makes sense for Triple H to turn to Batista to become the "Face of WWE" and not to mention Batista is a bonafide movie star on top of it being in such movies like The Man with the Iron Fists, Riddick and now will be in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, yes Batista is perfect as "The Face of the WWE"
The Usos the WWE Tag Team Champions in the main event and they are seemingly happy with the fact that they get to face Chris Jericho and the World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson and if they can beat Jericho and Danielson it will put them over huge
The Usos beating Jericho and Danielson in the main event not only puts them over huge but in the process it further adds fuel to the fire between Jericho and Danielson with Danielson getting some much needed payback after last week when Jericho turned on him, Danielson turns on Jericho, yes their match I can see it becoming more personal with one of them turning heel but who will it be? I can see it being Danielson who turns heel

JULY 29, 2013 FROM THE LAREDO ENERGY CENTER IN LAREDO, TEXAS
The Monday Night Raw intro video airs and the cameras pan into the Laredo Energy Center from Laredo, Texas! Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everybody to the show to the show. Tonight, we will have the WWE Champion Batista going one on one with Sheamus. Also - CM Punk will be in the ring against the 'World's Strongest Man' Mark Henry, Brock Lesnar will be in the arena to address The Rock and their No Holds Barred Match at Summerslam and the United States Championship will be on the line as Dean Ambrose defends against newcomer Ryan Braxton.
The theme music of CM Punk hits and the WWE Universe explodes as he makes his way out, back turned and arms spread out wide. Punk makes his way down to the ring and takes a microphone from ringside, letting the crowd chant his name before speaking. "Last week, I went up against ten different men. Last week, I not only took on those ten men but I put up a fight... something that can't be said for Dave Batista. He picked up the scraps, walked down to this ring and hit me with a Batista Bomb." He looks all around the arena as the crowd boos the mention of the WWE Champion, Punk saying that at Summerslam he plans on walking in there, kicking Dave's ass and walking out with the WWE Championship back around his waist. But tonight, he plans on doing just that to the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry. As if on cue, Henry's theme music hits and he makes his way out from the back, staring Punk down from atop the stage as their match will be kicking off tonight's edition of Raw. CM PUNK DEFEATS MARK HENRY VIA PINFALL The bell rings and Henry dominates throughout the early goings, using all of his strength to overpower Punk in the corner and send him to the mat repeatedly. Punk manages to fight back, however, and after rocking Henry and almost sending him down multiple times he dropkicks him into the corner. He pops right onto his feet and backs to the opposite side of the ring before charging forward with his signature knee and bulldog combination. The World's Strongest Man struggles back up onto his feet and Punk uses all of his strength to lift Henry up and drop him with the Go To Sleep. He hooks both legs up for the three count.
Punk rises up onto his feet and storms all around the ring, motioning for the WWE Championship around his waist. He hops onto the second turnbuckle and fires up the crowd a bit before exiting the ring, the commentary team discussing how Punk has managed to win his match tonight and now attention turns to the WWE Champion, Batista, as he will look to do the same later on tonight.
Returning, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are in their office backstage as WWE Champion Batista walks in with a smile across his face. He greets Hunter with a handshake and kisses Stephanie on the cheek, the power couple mentioning how Punk won his match just a few minutes ago and ask Dave if he is going to do the same. They all share a laugh and The Animal adjusts his title belt over his shoulder, "Sheamus? Please... like that pale waste of space is even anywhere near my level. I couldn't be less worried about him." Triple H reminds Dave that he shouldn't push it too far, he wouldn't want to get hurt heading into Summerslam and lose to Punk. "I mean, even with you injured he still couldn't stand a chance." The trio all share a laugh once again as Batista heads out, clearly not too worried about his match up later on tonight.
The cameras transition to Matt Striker and he introduces his guest at this time to be the United States Champion, Dean Ambrose. He thanks him for his time and asks what his opinions are on Ryan Braxton ahead of their match later on, seeing as how he did defeat him in his debut just two weeks ago and looked very convincing in his victory over Alberto Del Rio last week. Ambrose taps his fingers against his face and twitches a bit, "Ryan Braxton... Ryan Braxton may be good but he is nowhere near the caliber that I am! I came into this business under the tutelage of The Undertaker... The Undertaker, Matt! THE UNDERTAKER! THE DEAD MAN! I learned tons of things from a legend like him and I learned the mentality you have to have to be successful in this business and I learned how to make it. I've been making it since I debuted in this company and I've certainly been making it since WrestleMania when I became the United States Champion so don't you dare even think for a moment that Ryan Braxton has a chance tonight just because he got lucky two weeks ago!" Ambrose continues rambling on, finishing his rant by telling Striker that there is no chance in hell Braxton walks out as the new United States Champion here tonight.
ANTONIO CESARO AND WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE USOS DEFEAT KASSIUS OHNO, RYBACK AND EZEKIEL JACKSON VIA PINFALL The match starts off between Ryback and Jimmy Uso, the prior getting the upper hand to start things off by using his strength. He makes some tags with Jackson and they keep Jimmy in the corner. He blasts Zeke with a big forearm, however, and reaches his corner and makes the tag to his brother. He comes right in and rocks Jackson all the way to the outside, The Usos proceeding to leap right over the ropes and into the team. Cesaro and Ohno charge into the ring and begin to brawl with each other, Antonio dropping Kassius to the mat by the legs. He pulls him right off the mat and goes around and around with the Big Swing, the crowd cheering on as he goes around a thirteenth time before releasing. Cesaro collapses right to the mat as Jackson is put back in the ring by The Usos, Jey proceeding to leap off the top turnbuckle and hit the big splash. He hooks both legs up for the three.
Cesaro and Jimmy get into the ring and join Jey right in the middle, the trio raising their arms up high together. The official hands the tag team title belts over to The Usos and they work the crowd up by the chant of their name before getting them to chant 'Ce-sar-o!' The group move over to the ropes to stare their respective rivals down as they back up the ramp separately, all very frustrated with the defeat at the hand of their enemies.
The cameras cut backstage to show 'The Charismatic Enigma' Jeff Hardy, as he will be addressing The Wyatt Family - next!
Returning, the theme music of Jeff Hardy hits and the Texas crowd explodes. He makes his way out from the back and staggers his way down to the ring, taking a microphone from ringside before getting in. He stares all around the arena and takes a few moments with his head down before pulling the mike up, saying that he is sick and tired of putting up with The Wyatt Family and he feels like everyone else is too. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Hardy continues on, "He keeps singing his songs and he keeps on talking in tongues and I don't even understand what he has to actually say half the time but one thing I do know he keeps on saying is that my career will burn. I don't know about all of you but it sounds kind of like a threat to me and Bray Wyatt if you want to burn my career then why don't you come down here with that lantern and do just that?" He starts to circle around the ring and waits, the lights suddenly go out as the signature of The Wyatt Family hits - the group appearing on the titantron. Bray holds his lantern up and chuckles, looking right into the camera before telling the Laredo, Texas crowd that they're here. The fans erupt at the notice as Wyatt blows the lantern out, the trio emerging from the back. They slowly come down the ramp and Bray takes his seat on his rocking chair, blowing the lantern out again.
The lights come back on dimly as The Wyatt Family stares Jeff Hardy down from the outside, Bray giving a laugh as he pats a microphone in the palm of his hand. "Jeff Hardy, you never cease to amaze me! You do not surprise, but you do amaze. I lay you out week after week and I show your signs of weakness yet you keep on coming back and when you keep on coming back I keep on opening my arms up giving you the chance to jump right in! I'm tired of giving you those chances, Jeff Hardy... I'm tired because Sister Abigail told me when I was growing up not to tolerate disobedience and denial! She told me to lead the masses, lead my family and lead the likes of you but as you are a disobedient one there seems to be a... contradiction!" He rises onto his feet and laughs and says that he is giving Jeff one last chance because he is fair man to come into his arms and accept his sins. Hardy looks all around the arena and laughs, telling Wyatt that he can put his arms down. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Wyatt chuckles once again, wagging his finger towards the ring. "I told you I was a fair man, Jeff Hardy, and if it is a fight you want from me and not companionship... ha, ha... then I shall give you just that. If you want me to burn your career then so be it! In a few weeks time at a little gig called Summerslam we can have ourselves... a campfire, if you will!" He laughs wildly and snaps his head back, pacing in front of his chair and while looking to Harper and Rowan. "At Summerslam, you and I! Surrounded in a ring of fire! That's right, Jeffrey, an inferno match where your career shall burn!" He throws his arms out and continues to laugh wildly, Hardy staring him down and nodding in approval of the idea. Wyatt doesn't let up on his laughter and falls back into his chair, rocking back and forth until the signature of the family hits once more.
RYAN BRAXTON DEFEATS DEAN AMBROSE VIA PINFALL TO WIN THE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP As soon as the bell sounds, Braxton overpowers Ambrose and sends him to the mat with multiple clotheslines and suplexes. He gets a two count on a pin attempt and Ambrose starts to fight back, eventually sending Braxton to the mat following a DDT from off the top turnbuckle. He gets a near fall and pops right back up, absolutely frustrated. He beats down the challenger for a couple of minutes in the corner and on the mat and gets pushed up off the mat and through the ropes. Dean leaps over the ropes but Braxton catches him in his arms, flipping him around before dropping him with a huge powerslam. 'Unbreakable' gets fired up and completely dominates Ambrose and hits his signature Spinning Powerbomb! He hooks both legs up quickly for the surprising three count!
Braxton gets onto his knees and looks all around the arena in disbelief as the WWE Universe is rather stunned at the victory, as just three weeks in Ryan Braxton has become the United States Champion! The referee hands over the title belt and 'Unbreakable' gets onto his feet and storms all around the ring, holding the title belt high up over his head the entire time. He backs to the corner and sits right down against it, clutching the title belt close to his chest. The commentary team goes over the end of the match with Braxton hitting the Spinning Powerbomb and getting the three count, surprising to everyone in the arena. Back live, Braxton backs up the ramp holding the title belt up high as Ambrose rolls onto all fours and tugs at his hair in absolute disbelief at the loss, having vowed he would win earlier on in the night.
Returning, the cameras head to ringside as Cole, Lawler and JBL as they go over what just happened moments ago as Ryan Braxton managed to defeat Dean Ambrose to become the new United States Champion. Backstage, Ambrose is walking slowly while holding onto the back of his head before being approached by Santino Marella. "Deana Ambress, from one former Unisted Stotts Champion to anudder, I give you my condolesesents!" He pats Ambrose on the shoulder and he stares right down at the hand, Marella starting to walk away only to be taken by the back of the head and thrown right down into one of the nearby production trucks! Ambrose stomps away at Santino before dropping onto his knees, firing shots to the head viciously. Multiple officials come rushing onto the scene and pull Ambrose away, telling him to knock it off. He barks for them to let him go and he breaks free, storming down the halls having lost it here tonight after losing his title.
NIKKI BELLA WITH BRIE BELLA DEFEATS DIVA'S CHAMPION AJ LEE VIA PINFALL IN A NON-TITLE MATCH The Diva's Champion immediately goes on the offensive as the match starts, rocking Nikki all around the ring for the first couple of minutes. She doesn't even let her get back into the match and goes for the Black Widow, only for Nikki to grab the ropes before it can be locked in - forcing AJ to let go of the hold. As Nikki drops to the mat, Brie switches spots with her. AJ tries to go at them but the referee holds her back, the Diva's Champion trying to explain what just happened. Brie gets right up in the corner and the referee checks on her, AJ storming right forward into a huge kick to the face! Brie proceeds to roll her up as fast as she can and gets the three count.
Brie rolls right out of the ring and into the arms of her sister, AJ rising onto her feet and dropping down onto all fours in frustration. She slams her hands off the mat over and over again while screaming at The Bella Twins as twin magic has worked against the Diva's Champion! Nikki and Brie head up the ramp and make their way to the back as Lee continues with her temper tantrum, the referee left with his hands up in the corner unable to control her.
RANDY ORTON DEFEATS ROB VAN DAM VIA PINFALL The bell rings and Orton throws RVD right into the steel post shoulder first. He beats him down viciously and refuses to let up until the count of four. Van Dam begins to fight back, however, and gets a big wave of momentum. He hits the Rolling Thunder and sets up for the Five Star Frog Splash, only for Orton to roll out of the ring. RVD adjusts himself and instead leaps right into Orton with a kick to the face. Both men remain laid out on the outside as a commercial break interrupts the action. Upon the return, Orton is in control of the match and goes for multiple pin attempts off hard slams, dropkicks and clotheslines - each time getting a count of two. He sets up for the RKO but RVD shoves him away, dropping him with a kick to the face. He gets momentum back in his favor and ends up executing the Five Star, only for Orton to kick out of the pin attempt. After both men get up, The Viper shoves Van Dam towards the referee and takes advantage, kicking 'The Whole Dam Show' right in the groin with the low blow! He follows it up with a ferocious RKO and hooks both legs up for the pinfall and victory.
Orton slowly rises back up onto his feet but instead of celebrating, he drags RVD up by his ponytail. He drags him back to the ropes and throws him out through the apron, still holding onto the hair. He drags RVD through the ropes and sets up for the hung DDT, only for Seth Rollins' theme music to hit! The Intercontinental Champion comes storming down from the back and slides right into the ring, hopping onto his feet - trading blows with Orton immediately. The Viper shoves Rollins off the ropes and goes for the RKO on the return, only to get shoved away and blasted with the Superkick on the turnaround! Orton quickly rolls to the ropes and out of the ring, Rollins popping right back up onto his feet all fired up. "Come on, Randy! Come on!" He shouts, begging for his Summerslam opponent to get back into the ring. Orton stumbles his way up the ramp, refusing to come back. Rollins checks down on RVD along with the referee before taking another moment to look back up to The Viper and hold his Intercontinental Championship belt up over his head, having showed Orton in just a split second what he is capable of come their match in just three weeks.
Returning, the Laredo Energy Center is scanned over by the cameras before the theme music of Brock Lesnar hits to a thunderously loud reaction! The Beast Incarnate himself emerges from the back, jogging in place as his advocate Paul Heyman soon follows out with a huge smile across his face. The two make their way down to the ring as Lesnar leaps onto the apron and pulls back on the ropes, his signature pyro hitting at the corners of the ring. He steps right in and Heyman follows, a microphone in his hand as it would be expected. Lesnar's music fades out and his advocate speaks up, "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman and this man standing next to me is the man who in just twenty days from tonight will walk into the Staples Center and defeat Dwayne Johnson! Not just any Dwayne Johnson but the one you all cheer and praise known as The Rock." He takes a moment as the WWE Universe explodes for the mention of the iconic name, breaking out into a chant of 'Rocky'. Heyman tells them to get everything out of their system because what he has to say might just bring them down. "If you recall, this man standing next to me has not appeared here in the WWE since the night after WrestleMania simply because he didn't have to. My client signed a contract here with the WWE to show up whenever he pleases and after he took care of Dwayne Johnson at WrestleMania and after he took care of Dwayne Johnson the night after by breaking his arm, my client decided to not show up any more as it is within his contract and within his rights to do so! Ladies and gentlemen, my client has come back tonight because it was just two weeks ago when I was harassed and assaulted by the man you know as The Rock to the point where I was put in a position to accept on behalf of my client a challenge for Summerslam." He continues on, talking about how The Rock made fun of his size and his looks and his history, as well as his client. He says that he made a fool out of himself not only with his childish humor, but with the challenge itself. "My client, BRRRROCK! LESSSNARRR! Called me just moments after that incident took place and said to me that he was going to take care of this once and for all. At Summerslam, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will be defeated by my client Brock Lesnar not for the first! Not for the second! But for the third time! If you recall, ladies and gentlemen, it was eleven years ago at Summerslam where my client! Brock! Lesnar! Defeated The Rock in one of the most highly anticipated matches the WWE had ever seen! If you recall, ladies and gentlemen, it was just about four months ago where my client! Brock! Lesnar! Defeated The Rock in one of the most brutal No Holds Barred Matches the WWE has ever seen! In just three weeks from now, ladies and gentlemen, you will be able to recall when my client! Brock! Lesnar! Defeated The Rock in yet another No Holds Barred Match and left him broken in the middle of this very ring!" The WWE Universe boos heavily as Heyman takes a few breaths before handing the microphone off to Lesnar.
"Rock, everything Paul had to say is entirely accurate and true. He did make note of how in just a couple of weeks from now I will leave you broken in the middle of this very ring and that, just like everything else, is accurate and true. At WrestleMania, I beat you. At Summerslam eleven years ago, I beat you. The night after WrestleMania this year, I broke your arm. In just twenty days at Summerslam, Rock, I'm going to beat you again and I'm going to break your arm again." He hands the microphone back over to Heyman, whom flashes a big smile as the crowd gives majority boos to 'The Beast Incarnate' and his advocate. Heyman pulls the mike up once again, telling the crowd 'thank you very much' before dropping it to the mat. He leads Lesnar out of the ring and they head towards the back, Brock having vowed here tonight to defeat Rock for a third time in his career and to break his arm for the second time this year in just a couple of weeks at Summerslam.
Returning, World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson's theme music hits to a big reaction from the WWE Universe. They burst into the 'Yes!' chants almost immediately as he hops down the stage and makes his way to ringside, joining the commentary team for the upcoming match.
CHRIS JERICHO DEFEATS DOLPH ZIGGLER VIA PINFALL The match starts off with tons of back and forth, fast paced action. Ziggler hits an early Fameasser but only gets a two count. He proceeds to lock on the sleeper hold, only for Y2J to back him right up into the corner spine first. The number one contender gets some momentum going and attempts the Walls of Jericho, only for Ziggler to burst free and mount a comeback. The two spill to the outside after a couple of minutes of back and forth action and Ziggler is tossed right over the announce table and into the World Heavyweight Champion. Jericho drags Dolph right back into the ring and goes after him, nailing a huge bulldog that is followed up by the lionsault. Jericho gets back onto his feet and backs to the corner, taking a look over to ringside to see Bryan getting to his feet. He rushes forward and drops Ziggler with the Codebreaker, hooking both legs up for the three count.
Jericho staggers back up onto his feet and the referee raises his arm up as the victor. Danielson leans up against the announce table and pulls his title belt over his shoulder. He moves to the ring and hops onto the apron, staring down his Summerslam opponent. He steps into the ring and the two trash talk a bit, Bryan pointing out how Jericho threw Ziggler into him. Dolph staggers onto his feet and tries to run at Jericho, only for Bryan to blindside him with the Running Knee! Ziggler flops right out of the ring as Danielson gets back up, turning to see Jericho - not even preparing to make a move. The two stare down momentarily before Danielson backs to the ropes and exits the ring, Jericho left staring in curiosity.
Returning, Big E Langston's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring for the Big E Challenge. He pounds on the palm of his hand and Jack Swagger's music hits, the Real American making his way out along with Zeb Colter. Swagger's manager holds a microphone in his hand as he calls for the music to be cut, "Fellow Americans, this man standing in the ring has been hosting this 'Big E Challenge' for quite some time now. Many have stepped forward to take part of this challenge, figuring it was a great opportunity. In the land of opportunity, a Real American like Jack Swagger has been denied over and over. Tonight, however, he leaps on this opportunity and will conquer the Big E Challenge! Now, we ask you rise to your feet, place your hands over your hearts and say in a loud, clear voice: We! The People!" The two come down to the ring, ready for the match.
JACK SWAGGER WITH ZEB COLTER DEFEATS BIG E LANGSTON VIA PINFALL IN THE BIG E CHALLENGE As soon as the match begins, Swagger slips out of the ring. Langston chases him around the ring a couple of times before being blasted with a huge clothesline. Swagger drags him back into the ring and keeps him grounded for a minute before being pushed back onto his feet. Big E comes back with multiple clotheslines and big time slams. He delivers a huge splash in the corner and sets up for the Big Ending, only for Swagger to get free and trip him up - applying the ankle lock. After wrenching away at the hold, Langston gets himself to the ropes and hugs them tight. Swagger breaks the hold and Langston gets right back into the match with a series of elbows and shots to the head. He nails a huge back body drop and rips his straps down, pounding on his chest. Colter hops onto the apron, however, and Big E steps right up to him. Colter tries to plea for Langston to not do anything and before he can, Swagger rolls him up with his feet on the ropes as the referee doesn't notice and counts the three!
Swagger rolls out of the ring as fast as he can, Colter raising his arm up in victory almost immediately. Langston pops onto both knees as the Big E Challenge has been, as Colter said, conquered! JBL praises 'The Real American' on commentary while Cole and Lawler refer back to the replay of Swagger having to use the distraction from Zeb and then roll Langston up with both feet on the ropes! JBL neglects to acknowledge it, however, and continues his praise of Swagger as he backs up the ramp along with Colter - Langston left on both knees in disbelief and frustration at the way the Big E Challenge has come to an end after all of his success with it.
Returning, a young blonde woman stands with a microphone and introduces herself to be Renee Young. She welcomes her guest at this time to be the new United States Champion, Ryan Braxton. He gets a solid pop from the crowd inside the arena as the new interviewer asks the new champion how it feels to have done what he came to the WWE for by becoming a champion. "Renee," He pats the belt across his shoulder, "It feels damn good, I tell you that right now. I may only have been here for three weeks now but hey, we all got to start somewhere right?" He notes how Renee is just starting on the big show on Raw tonight, and that she is doing a great job. She thanks him and says she has been quite impressed with him as well, which he thanks her in return for. "But now I understand that I'm going to have a target on my back. Whether it be Dean Ambrose again or anybody else, the challenge is welcomed because I am unbreakable and I am the United States Champion." He heads off, pleased and confident as the new champion.
The cameras transition to show Cody Rhodes packing his things up into his bags. He prepares to pick them up when Goldust, or Dustin as he isn't wearing any of his make up, walks in and asks what he is doing. "Does it look like I am competing tonight, Dustin? No, it doesn't. Maybe that is a good thing because I just can't seem to get anything to go right." He pulls his bags over his shoulders and says that when he left the ring last week on Smackdown after his match, it was probably the last time. He continues on, saying that he shouldn't be here and that he can't seem to do anything right. "I don't want to have to become what you became, Dustin. I don't want to be in my forties looking back on my career and realizing that I missed out on every single one of my opportunities." The two stare down and get up into each other's faces, Cody backing down before heading out of the room, leaving his brother breathing heavily - clearly vulnerable to the words his brother just spoke.
In a different part of the arena, Sheamus is shown coming down to the ring as the main event between him and Batista is coming up next!
SHEAMUS DEFEATS WWE CHAMPION BATISTA VIA DISQUALIFICATION IN A NON-TITLE MATCH The bell rings and the aggressive action begins immediately. Sheamus pounds Batista back into the corner and drops him with an early Brogue Kick out of nowhere. He goes for the pin but The Animal wisely rolls out of the ring before any pin can be made. Sheamus follows him to the outside and drives him head first into the steel post before whipping him viciously into the steel steps back first! The referee orders them back into the ring and Dave turns to the crowd, raising both thumbs up before driving them down - leading to a commercial break. Upon the return, Batista continues to dominate inside of the ring and overpowers Sheamus in every corner before The Celtic Warrior begins to fight back, tossing elbows and forearms. He drives Batista down a few times and gets momentum in his favor for the next couple of minutes. He prepares for the Brogue Kick, pounding on his chest in the corner. Before he can go for it, however, Roman Reigns comes running into the ring! He ducks the Brogue and comes back with the Superman Punch! The referee calls for the bell.
The WWE Universe boos as Reigns rises onto his feet, shaking his head viciously. He drags Sheamus right back up and pushes him off the ropes, dropping him with a spear! Batista staggers back onto his feet and moves over to the Celtic Warrior, dragging him up slowly in preparation for the Batista Bomb. Before he can even lift him, however, 'Cult of Personality' hits and the crowd explodes! CM Punk comes storming down to the ring, steel chair in hands. He hops right in and ducks a shot from Batista, slamming the chair into the shoulder of Reigns. He turns right back around to The Animal and hits him in the shoulder as well. He turns back around to Reigns and tosses the chair into his hands, Sheamus charging forward to nail the Brogue Kick! Paul Heyman, meanwhile, screams from the outside as his client drops at his feet. Punk proceeds to pull Batista right up onto his shoulders and nail the Go To Sleep right in the middle of the ring! Punk circles around the ring, yelling to the crowd before greeting The Celtic Warrior with a handshake. Sheamus stares down Reigns as he backs away with Heyman as Punk scoops the WWE Championship belt up and holds it up high over the downed body of The Animal. Monday Night Raw comes to a conclusion.

CM Punk opening Raw is smart, I love that he's a face now as I think there's a lot of fresh stuff to do with that. Punk/Henry is a good opener, Punk winning was clear. Batista is like, the perfect corporate Champion. Dean Ambrose mentioning the tutelage of The Undertaker is smart. Face Antonio Cesaro seems to have some momentum. Good six man tag match. Bray Wyatt promo was well written and the Inferno match should be fun. Surprised you would have Ryan Braxton win the belt so soon, as I hoped Dean Ambrose would cause a disqualification or something. Oh well, interesting at least. Ambrose beating on Santino helps. Nikki over AJ Lee is fine since it was non-title. RVD losing to Randy Orton was expected. Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton will be awesome. Good Brock Lesnar/Paul Heyman promo, Brock/Rock should be great. Chris Jericho over Dolph Ziggler makes sense since Jericho is the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Title. The Big E challenge was always interesting and having Jack Swagger beat him could lead to a fun feud. RENEE YOUNG! Cody Rhodes taking a low blow at Goldust is interesting. Good idea to end the main event in a DQ. Punk/Batista and Sheamus/Reigns at SummerSlam could be awesome. Good show.

CM Punk overcoming all odds yet again this time defeating yet another giant, someone who is bigger and much stronger than he is in Mark Henry, direct message sent to his SummerSlam opponent the WWE Champion Batista and Punk in my opinion needed the win because he needs all the momentum in the world considering he has a WWE Championship match at SummerSlam against Batista
Batista backstage with the COO Triple H and the WWE Commissioner Stephanie, the hand-picked champion with his supporters, I love it because Batista is perfect in this role as the "Face of the WWE" because not only is he a superstar he is also the champion and he is well on his way to becoming a movie star in Hollywood starring in such movies like The Man With the Iron Fists and Riddick and will be in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy next year in your diary so Batista getting a run with the belt makes sense
Loved Dean Ambrose bringing up the fact that he was mentored by The Undertaker he trained under Taker was under his tutelage, yes and it just goes to show us that ever since learning from The Dead Man himself that Ambrose has gone on to be successful since he is the WWE United States Champion but having to defend his title against Braxton tonight, I wonder if this could be the last time we see Ambrose as the champion?
World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase holder Cesaro teaming up with the WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos to beat the team of Kassius Ohno, Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson just goes to show us that Cesaro has Ohno's number and that ever since becoming Mr. Money in the Bank that he has seemingly become more better than Ohno and it also goes to show us that The Usos are just all that much more better than Big Zeke and Ryback as a team
Bray Wyatt vs Jeff Hardy at SummerSlam in an Inferno Match, you gotta love it, I think this will end up setting up the return of Kane to WWE and that Kane will be feuding with The Wyatt Family namely Bray Wyatt and that Jeff will end up being set on fire
Ryan Braxton becoming the new WWE United States Champion beating Dean Ambrose, this has got to be an upset definite upset in my book because Braxton is not only new on the scene but he is a relative raw rookie but he damn sure is good
Ambrose beating up on Santino, I loved it because Santino had it coming to him
Nikki Bella beating AJ Lee definitely sets up Nikki to have a WWE Divas Championship match with AJ down the road and if it happens then most likely it will happen at SummerSlam but twin magic with Brie definitely sure worked out but I have a feeling AJ will take out one of the Bellas to even the odds for herself
Orton going over RVD does not come as a surprise either but I was hoping Orton would have not only RKOed RVD but then he would have proceeded to put RVD out permanently by punting RVD in the head but no instead just when Orton is about to do some damage to RVD here comes the WWE Intercontinental Champion Rollins to the rescue saving RVD, loved it because it just adds more fuel to the fire heading into their match at SummerSlam especially with the IC Title on the line
Loved Lesnar and Heyman's promo regarding Lesnar's match with Rock and bringing up Brock's history with The Rock was also a nice nod because history in this diary shows that Lesnar has beaten Rock not once but twice the first time was 11 years ago SummerSlam 2002 when Rock was on his way to Hollywood and Brock was a relative rookie/newcomer and then the 2nd time was at WrestleMania 29 with Brock beating Rock in No Holds Barred, and now that they will be going at it for a 3rd time at SummerSlam 2013 in a No Holds Barred Match this will be interesting to see just who wins...this match will be as brutal and as personal as they come
Jericho beating Ziggler makes sense considering Jericho needs all the momentum in the world right now considering he has a World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam against the World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson
Swagger beating Big E. ending Big E.'s undefeated streak conquering the Big E. Challenge yes it does open up possibilities for a Swagger/Langston feud
Renee Young making her debut, I love it
And Cody Rhodes taking shots at his older brother Goldust was interesting, I wonder if this ends up setting up a Goldust heel turn? If it does then I am all for HEEL GOLDUST
The main event between Sheamus and Batista ending in DQ makes sense as the DQ loss doesn't really hurt Batista considering he is the WWE Champion but also a DQ win for Sheamus kind of helps him but at the same time a clean win would have helped him more but I could see why you did what you did and Punk and Reigns showing up just almost guarantees that we will see a Tag Team Main Event on Smackdown with Batista teaming up with Roman Reigns to take on the team of CM Punk and Sheamus

AUGUST 1, 2013 FROM THE TOYOTA CENTER IN HOUSTON, TEXAS
The Smackdown intro video airs and the cameras come right into the Toyota Center from Houston, Texas. Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everyone to the show as tonight, Chris Jericho will host The Highlight Reel with his guest World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson! Also tonight, the new United States Champion Ryan Braxton will make his Smackdown debut as Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins teams up with Rob Van Dam to go up against Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler. All this and more, right here on Smackdown!
The theme music of Sheamus hits and 'The Celtic Warrior' makes his way out from the back with a smile on his face, pounding on his chest. He makes his way down to the ring and takes a microphone from ringside. He steps to the middle of the squared circle and gazes all around the arena and pulls the mike up slowly, "Y'know, ever since Money in the Bank I've been dealing with Roman Reigns. I've been dealing with Roman Reigns and his chubby little mouthpiece, Paul Heyman! To be quite honest, I'm sick of the blindside attacks and I'm sick of the games." He continues on, saying that he doesn't back down from fights and he certainly doesn't want to back down from this one, but rather than attacking each other from behind and trying to scramble each other's brains, he wants a match. "So Roman, fella, I'm inviting you to come down to this ring right here, right now and facing me one on one! You don't get yourself disqualified, you don't get yourself counted out! We do this right, fella! Let's go!" He pulls off his shirt and tosses it out to the crowd as they start to cheer, wanting the match just as much as Sheamus does. However, everyone is left disappointed as Stephanie McMahon's theme music hits.
The commissioner emerges from the back and has a smile across her face and a microphone in her hand the Houston crowd boos. She apologizes to Sheamus for interrupting before continuing on, "As much as all of these people, as well as myself, would love to see you and Roman Reigns go head to head once again here tonight, I just can't allow that to happen." She gets some heat and once again apologizes, this time to the crowd. "However, I do have an idea for you, Sheamus. In just a couple weeks from now at Summerslam, you and Roman Reigns actually do face each other one on one. His advocate, Paul Heyman, already will be in the arena that night since Brock Lesnar will do battle with The Rock, so I don't see how there could be any problem with Roman facing you in the same night." The Celtic Warrior responds by telling Stephanie that sounds just fine and dandy to him, but he came here tonight on Smackdown looking for a fight. The Commissioner nods and says she admires his competitive nature and therefore she will give him a match and although it won't be against Roman Reigns as he would like, she will give him another tough competitor in Alberto Del Rio. The Mexican Aristocrat's theme music hits and he makes his way out from the back, a big smile across his face. He shakes the hand of Stephanie and makes his way down to the ring as he and Sheamus will go one on one after the commercial break!
SHEAMUS DEFEATS ALBERTO DEL RIO VIA PINFALL The bell rings and Del Rio is immediately blasted with a clothesline. Sheamus continues with multiple clotheslines and he overpowers Alberto for a couple of minutes before getting his eyes raked. Alberto works the arm and drags it across the ropes and works it in the corner, applying his foot into the armpit. He continues to work the arm and tries to pull Sheamus into the armbar, only for The Celtic Warrior to stay on one knee and use all of his strength to get Del Rio up off the mat and slam him down viciously over and over again. Sheamus gets tons of momentum going and after a series of powerslams and hard drops. He throws him right over the ropes and starts to pound on the chest, getting to the count of ten with the crowd. Del Rio gets back into the ring slowly and he stirs right up into the Brogue Kick! Sheamus hooks both legs up for the victory.
The Celtic Warrior rises onto his feet and falls back against the ropes, arms held up high. He pounds on his chest and the referee holds his arm up, Sheamus looking up the ramp as the voice of Paul Heyman is heard, excusing himself. He steps out to the top of the stage and shares a stare with Sheamus before continuing on. "Stephanie McMahon has set the match at Summerslam between yourself and my client, and on behalf of my client I would like to extend wishes of good luck to you, sir. You are going to need just that!" Heyman starts to head towards the back but Sheamus stops him, grabbing a microphone and telling him to hold on a second. "Fella, if big Roman Reigns wants to wish me luck he can come right down to this ring, say it to my face and shake my hand like a man." He grins as Heyman turns back around slowly, saying he had a feeling he would want something like that, as did his client. He twirls his finger around in a circle and Sheamus squints before turning around, Reigns blasting him with the Superman Punch! He pops right back up and shakes his head up and down viciously, backing towards the ropes. He stares at Sheamus as he struggles back onto his feet, being dropped with a ferocious spear on the turnaround! The WWE Universe boos as Reigns gets onto one knee, pulling his hair back as he stares at the cringing Celtic Warrior on the mat.
Returning, a replay from Monday Night Raw airs with Ryan Braxton hitting a Spinning Powerbomb on Dean Ambrose before getting the three count on him, thus becoming the new United States Champion. The replay shows his celebration after winning the title, just two weeks after his debut in which he defeated Ambrose the first time they met. Back live in the arena, The Miz stands in the middle of the ring in preparation for action.
UNITED STATES CHAMPION RYAN BRAXTON DEFEATS THE MIZ VIA SUBMISSION IN A NON-TITLE MATCH The match starts off with Braxton overpowering Miz immediately. He delivers a series of knees to the stomach and hits a few suplexes before Miz rolls himself out of the ring. Braxton chases him around before getting blasted with a chop to the knee, forcing the United States Champion to fall face first into the steel steps. Miz works him back into the ring and keeps him grounded for a minute until he is met with a fury of elbows to the mid-section. Braxton hits a huge belly to belly suplex and pops onto his feet, fired up. He proceeds to hit Miz with the Spinning Powerbomb and instead of going for the pin, he locks in the crossface. Miz scrambles his hands in an attempt to get his way out, but has no choice but to tap out.
The United States Champion rises onto his feet as the crowd gives him a solid reception. The referee retrieves his title belt and hands it over, Braxton raising it up high to the crowd as the replays air of the finish to the match. Braxton makes his way up the ramp and holds the title belt high up over his head once again before dropping it over his shoulder. He heads to the back, having made a statement here on Smackdown.
The cameras cut to the backstage hallways where Rob Van Dam is seen stretching across some of the production trunks. The Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins, walks up and RVD hops down. The two nod to each other and bump knuckles before heading off alongside one another while talking in preparation, as the tag team match with them against Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler is coming up next.
RANDY ORTON AND DOLPH ZIGGLER DEFEAT INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION SETH ROLLINS AND ROB VAN DAM VIA PINFALL The bell rings as RVD starts things off with Ziggler, the latter getting very aggressive to start things off by using Van Dam's ponytail and straps to throw him into the steel post and off the mat face first repeatedly. He makes the tag to Orton and he comes right in, continuing the beat down. The 'Whole Dam Show' begins to mount a comeback, however, firing away with kicks. He sends Orton right into Ziggler and they both collapse to the outside, RVD calling Rollins in. The two back up and come rushing to the ropes, frontflipping over onto their opponents. A commercial break follows up as the crowd explodes. Upon the return, Rollins is in the ring with Ziggler and he controls the match for the following couple of minutes. He goes for a superkick but Ziggler makes a tag to Orton. The Viper comes right in and is floored by Rollins, the Intercontinental Champion getting multiple near falls on his rival. Orton goes for the RKO out of nowhere, but Rollins shoves him away and drops him with the superkick! He makes the tag to RVD and he proceeds to leap onto the top rope, going for the Five Star Frog Splash only for Orton to move out of the way and make the tag to Ziggler. He storms right in, hits RVD with the Zig Zag and hooks both legs up for the three count.
Ziggler rises onto his feet and smiles as Orton comes from behind to sweep Rollins off the apron, dropping him face first onto the apron! He takes Rollins by the hair and rams him upside down into the announce table! The referee continues to call for the bell as Orton backs away slowly, smirking as Ziggler proceeds to roll out and pat him on the back. They each start to make their way around the ring separately, Orton continuing to stare his rival down with a crazed look in his eyes.
Returning, a graphic appears for next week on Monday Night Raw where The Rock will be appearing and responding to Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman after what they had to say this past week. The crowd roars in the background at the announcement.
The cameras transition to the backstage area where new interviewer, Renee Young, introduces her guest at this time to be Goldust. She thanks him for his time and asks if there is an update from him on his brother Cody Rhodes or anything. Goldust shrugs his shoulders, "I've been trying to talk to Cody for the past couple of weeks. I've been trying to understand his frustration and explain things to him... he just doesn't seem to want to listen. I love my brother. Everyone knows that. We're close." He runs his hand over his head, clearly upset. He continues on by explaining that he was hurt this past Monday when Cody told him he didn't want to miss out on opportunities as he has over his career. "But I forgive him... Cody just needs to learn to forgive himself. Everybody goes through these ruts in their career and just can't seem to get things right on track and I think the time off for him will be good. In the mean time, Renee, I plan on continuing on with or without his support." He takes a deep breath before heading off.
Transitioning, Stephanie McMahon is in her office with Antonio Cesaro and Big E Langston. She thanks them for coming in and explains how she understands they have problems with some people lately, so tonight they will get their chance to get their hands on them. "So tonight, it will be Antonio Cesaro teaming with Big E Langston to take on Kassius Ohno and Jack Swagger. How does that sound?" The two agree that it sounds great and Langston says he is looking forward to getting back at Swagger for his cheap way of winning the Big E Challenge. Cesaro says he knows how he feels, because Kassius Ohno is simply jealous of him being the Money in the Bank winner and can't handle not being better than him just as Swagger couldn't handle Langston being better than him. The two head off, the stage set for their match later on.
RYBACK WITH EZEKIEL JACKSON DEFEATS R-TRUTH VIA PINFALL As soon as the bell goes off, Ryback sends Truth into the corner. He overpowers him and refuses to let up, breaking at four counts repeatedly. He goes for an early Meat Hook Clothesline, but Truth ducks underneath and hits him with a Pele kick! Truth starts to get some momentum going and goes for the Scissors Kick, only for Jackson to grab a hold of the ankle as he goes off the ropes. Truth sends a kick through the ropes and rocks Zeke, turning right into the Meat Hook Clothesline! Ryback proceeds to lift him back up and hit Shell Shocked before getting the pinfall and victory.
Ryback rises onto his feet and laughs as Jackson joins him in the ring. Ryback pats his partner on the chest and tells him to 'watch this'. He proceeds to drag Truth up by the hair and prepares for Shell Shocked again, only for Kofi Kingston to come rushing down to the ring. He ducks underneath a shot from Jackson and dropkicks Ryback! He pops right back up and hits Trouble in Paradise, sending Jackson right through the ropes. He hops up again and pulls the ropes down on Ryback, toppling him to the floor. Kingston hops right onto his feet again and claps his hands together for the first time in a long time! Truth staggers back up and wraps his arm around the neck of Kingston, as it appears Kofi has decided which road he is going to go down for his career, having saved Truth from a beat down here tonight.
Returning, a promo video airs for the upcoming 'Total Divas' show premiering on E! later this month, featuring many of today's current Divas and some of the future that are currently on NXT. The cameras come back into the arena where The Bella Twins stand in the ring as Brie, as her sister Nikki was this past Monday, will be going one one with the Diva's Champion, AJ Lee and look to get a win.
BRIE BELLA WITH NIKKI BELLA DEFEATS DIVA'S CHAMPION AJ LEE VIA DISQUALIFICATION IN A NON-TITLE MATCH The bell rings and Brie comes right at AJ, only to get dropped to the mat and have her head smacked down repeatedly. Lee dominates for a couple of minutes and gets a few submission holds locked in, Brie finding a way to the ropes each time. As AJ argues with the official, Brie proceeds to roll out of the ring and switch with Nikki. Lee sees it, however, and rolls out of the ring. She takes her Diva's Championship belt and gets back into the ring, smacking Nikki right in the face with it! The referee calls for the bell.
AJ screams at Nikki for the attempt to perform 'Twin Magic' on her for the second time this week. Brie comes into the ring and AJ drops right on top of her with the belt, dropping it right across the back of the head! AJ screams out of fury and rolls out of the ring, hugging her title belt as both of The Bella Twins are both left laid out. AJ slowly cracks a smile and turns back up the ramp, skipping her way towards the back as a couple of medics come down to check on the twins.
The cameras cut backstage to Renee Young and she welcomes her guests at this time, Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. She asks Swagger why he chose to defeat Langston the way he did this past Monday. Colter steps forward and tells Renee that they have no idea what she is talking about. Renee points to the television behind them as the replay airs from Monday where Swagger would roll Langston up with his feet on the ropes to win in the Big E Challenge. Colter and Swagger are left caught red handed and Colter starts to holler, "Alright! You want to call a Real American like Jack Swagger out? This is the land of opportunity and he took the opportunity! He beat Big E Langston. It doesn't matter how he did it, because he did it for the good of America! Now, Renee, you're new around here and I apologize for raising my voice..." She says that is alright, but clearly looks a bit startled by it. He proceeds to invite her to place her hand over her heart and say in a loud, clear voice: 'We! The People!' He and Swagger head off, as the tag team match featuring Swagger is coming up next.
KASSIUS OHNO AND JACK SWAGGER WITH ZEB COLTER DEFEAT ANTONIO CESARO AND BIG E LANGSTON VIA PINFALL The bell sounds as Langston and Swagger start things off, Jack bringing it to the mat right off. Langston responds by doing the same, a bit of a traditional wrestling match breaking out. Swagger slaps Big E, however, and it irates the big man. Langston proceeds to run right through Swagger until he gets a jab to the eye, leading to a tag to Ohno. He comes right in and works Langston for a couple of minutes until the crowd gets Big E going. He flips Kassius over his shoulder and to the mat and makes the tag to Cesaro, whom runs right in and thrashes Ohno. He drops him with multiple elbows and uppercuts and slams and gets a few near falls. He prepares for the big swing but Swagger runs right in and clotheslines him from behind. Langston comes in and trades shots with Swagger, eventually clotheslining him to the outside. As the referee is distracted with them, Ohno low blows Cesaro! He proceeds to hit him with a huge discus elbow to the back of the head and hooks both legs up for the three count.
The WWE Universe boos loudly as Ohno rises onto his feet with a smile across his face. He commands the referee to hand him the Money in the Bank briefcase and rips it right out of his hands, raising it up over his head. Meanwhile, on the outside, Swagger and Colter back up the ramp as Langston is left sitting up against the steel steps in frustration. Ohno kicks Cesaro out of the ring and throws the briefcase right over and on top of him.
The cameras cut backstage to Chris Jericho as The Highlight Reel with the World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson is coming up next!
Returning, the crowd is looked over - as is the ring, as The Highlight Reel is set up. The theme music of Chris Jericho hits and the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship makes his way down to the ring with a smile across his face. He takes a microphone from one of the stools and he welcomes everyone to 'Smackdown is Jericho'. He says that doesn't sound right, but proceeds to mention that this is The Highlight Reel! The WWE Universe roars and he continues on, "Tonight! My guest is the man I will be going one on one against in just a couple of weeks at Summerslam for the World Heavyweight Championship. A man who has been the champion since he beat Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania! A man who got his title shot by cashing in his Money in the Bank - something that I invented." He laughs and says that is besides the point, and proceeds to welcome the World Heavyweight Champion, Bryan Danielson. The crowd explodes as Danielson emerges from the back and leads on the 'Yes!' chants. Jericho even joins in within the ring as Bryan enters, laughing at Y2J as he continues on as the music fades out. The crowd refuses to let up, as the host of The Highlight Reel keeps leading them on despite Danielson's silence. Jericho finally stops himself as Bryan puts his hand up, saying that is enough.
"Well, Bryan! Welcome to The Highlight Reel and man is it fancy seeing you here! Fancy seeing you here after the few weeks we've had together, isn't it?" Jericho laughs and says he would like to thank him for saving him from Dolph Ziggler this past Monday on Raw, but says he could have done without it. Danielson raises his eyebrows as the crowd gives a sharp 'ooh' as Jericho proceeds to explain that he is the man who beat The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in one night and he knows he could take care of an assclown like Ziggler! The fans laugh as Danielson says he just wanted to do what was right and Jericho tells him it really wasn't. "See, I respect you and you know that. But if you were about to get laid out and I was there to stop it, I wouldn't! I threw Dolph right into you over the announce table and even after that you decided to help me out? I hate to say it, Bryan, but it screams one thing about you: You're too weak of a champion." The WWE Universe boos as Danielson laughs, Jericho saying he hates to tell it like it is sometimes but that is just what he does. The World Champion says that he isn't hurt by that, "You can have your opinion about me, Chris. But all that matters to me is what they think of me, not you." He points out to the crowd as they cheer him on, "I know they love you just as much, if not more, than me. These people are going to get a great match at Summerslam for the World Heavyweight Championship between me and you and I don't want that to be effected by somebody like Dolph Ziggler trying to take you out. I want you to make it to Summerslam so I can make you tap out in front of the thousands of people at the Staples Center."
The two stare down and Bryan proceeds to explain that he really hopes that Chris understands where he is coming from and extends his hand out. Y2J snickers and tells Danielson he hopes he understands where HE is coming from, and he proceeds to drop him with the Codebreaker! The crowd gives a loud mixed reaction as Jericho pops right back up and takes a hold of the legs, proceeding to apply the Walls of Jericho! Danielson starts to scream in pain as Jericho yells at him to tap, the World Heavyweight Champion pulling at his hair in frustration. He slams his fists on the mat, trying to find a way to get free. He refuses to let up, however, as Jericho continues to wrench away. The crowd breaks into chants of 'No!' as Danielson continues to refuse to let up, but seems to be fading out. Jericho keeps on pulling at the hold until Danielson stops struggling, his head going limp and collapsing right onto the mat. Y2J lets go of the hold and stares at Bryan unconscious on the mat and pulls the World Heavyweight Championship belt up slowly, raising it up over his head as the crowd gives him another mixed reaction. He drops it right down on the lifeless body of Danielson and exits the ring, a smile across his face as a statement has been made by the number one contender here tonight on Smackdown.

- It seems Sheamus wants himself some Roman Reigns and I can't say that I blame him but then he gets cut off by WWE Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, I can't say that I am surprised but she ends up making a deal with him, that being that he gets Roman Reigns at SummerSlam but that tonight he has to end up facing a mystery opponent and that opponent ends up being Del Rio which Sheamus ends up beating and then after the match Heyman ends up showing up but then out of nowhere it all ends in Sheamus being left laying by his SummerSlam opponent "Paul Heyman Guy" Roman Reigns, I can't wait to see them go at it at SummerSlam
- It seems the rookie, the new WWE United States Champion Ryan Braxton wins himself yet another match by making another opponent in Miz tap out to the Crossface, I wonder if the Crossface will be Braxton's new finisher from here on out? Because seeing as how he has beaten Ambrose and now Miz a former World Heavyweight Champion it seems Braxton here is on quite the roll, he is undefeated so far and hasn't lost a match but I wonder if Ambrose will cash in his rematch clause? And if he does then Braxton won't be celebrating with that title long
- WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and RVD teaming up to take on the team of Orton and Ziggler, this should be an interesting match
- Orton and Ziggler beat WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and RVD, gives Orton even more momentum heading into his match at SummerSlam with Rollins but as for Ziggler it seems he is finally doing something right for once but as for RVD look at just how far he has fallen from grace literally
- Rock showing up on RAW, can't say that I am surprised especially if he is going to be there to address Brock and Heyman
- I actually hope Goldust does turn heel and why? Because with a heel turn it could really revitalize Goldust's career and with him turning heel Goldust can claim that he is the better brother but that their father The American Dream Dusty Rhodes was never ever a father to him but was more of a father to Cody and that he loved Cody more because of the fact that he was normal but that he was abnormal and that he has always resented Cody because he feels like he has been held back, but with Cody taking time off, Cody definitely needs the break
- Big E. and Cesaro do bring up valid points because Swagger and Ohno are jealous of them I mean let's face it because they just are that much better than Swagger and Ohno
- As far as Ryback w/Big Zeke beating R-Truth, I figured he would but then just as Ryback and Zeke are about to do more damage to Truth, here comes Kofi to the rescue saving Truth, yes this pretty much solidifies Kofi as a face again
- Total Divas premiere can't wait
- Brie beating AJ by DQ, I honestly saw it coming from a mile away because AJ figured that since the Bellas were going to try to use twin magic that she would outsmart them and beat them at their own game by laying the both of them out with the WWE Divas Championship belt, I love it because it shows us that AJ won't allow herself to be outshined by anyone not even the Bellas and that she definitely deserves a spot on Total Divas and she should, I mean she is the champion after all
- Loved Swagger and Colter with Renee Young, now that was a thing of beauty, WE THE PEOPLE!!!!
- Kassius Ohno and Swagger beating Cesaro and Big E. I definitely can't argue with that because it just gives Ohno even more momentum and seeing Ohno hold the briefcase like that I wonder if he will challenge Cesaro for the MITB briefcase and if he does then I definitely see it happening at SummerSlam and as for Big E. taking on Swagger I can see that happening during the SummerSlam Kick Off Show
- Loved the Highlight Reel with Jericho and Danielson to end the show and it ending in Jericho blindsiding Danielson with a Codebreaker and then locking him in the Walls of Jericho and after that, the fans will definitely turn on Jericho now if they haven't already considering just how popular Danielson has become

A lot of attention given to Sheamus and Reigns to kick off Smack Down which gives their match some importance. Braxton is getting a big push with the US title and beating Miz. Like the seeds being planted for a Rhodes/Goldust diary but it feels like this board has seen that rivalry to often. One of your recent highlights is the Cesaro/Ohno rivalry I'm enjoying that plus the Rollins/Orton feud big step up for Rollins and the IC title.
Final segment hyped the World title match well gave Jericho the edge back and kept Bryan strong by refusing to tap out. Nice show

Good having Sheamus open Smackdown to challenge Reigns, but saving the match for SummerSlam seemed like a good idea. Sheamus going against Del Rio and winning was a good way for him to gain momentum towards his match with Reigns. I'm liking where your going with Ryan Braxton. The RVD/Rollins vs. Orton/Ziggler tag match was good for both feuds since you had the heels get victories over there opponents. Goldust saying continuing with out Cody is saying to me that he's looking for a singles run, and I don't mind that. Not really a huge fan of Ryback and Jackson being a team, but it's seems to be working pretty well so far and that's all that matter. I enjoyed how AJ ended up laying out both Bella Twins just because they tried cheating, even if AJ lost by DQ, she still was the one standing tall. I think the MITB briefcase will be defended somehow between Cesaro and Ohno, since it seem that it's jealousy that sort of started this if I remember right. Having the highlight reel close Smackdown was great, just like the segment. Jericho attacking Bryan was a great way to get him to seem more like the heel in this rivalry. Also, having Bryan not tap out to the Walls Of Jericho was good, it helped to make Bryan still look good by refusing to give up.
Give WWE 13-14 a look.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 22nd July 2013...Another lengthy-ass promo to kick off the show, with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon alongside the new WWE Champion Batista. It's so hard to read all of this. Well written though, by the looks of things. CM Punk being granted his rematch for the WWE Championship against Batista makes sense, set up for SummerSlam. Intrigued by who the opponent for Punk tonight could be, though. Roman Reigns defeating Christian made sense in a decent opening contest, and I liked the interactions from Paul Heyman as well. Did not expect Sheamus to make the save, but it does fit his character I guess. Next, Big E Langston defeating Mark Henry was impressive, in another Big E Challenge segment, but be careful not to turn Big E face with al of these impressive weightlifting finishes. Chris Jericho's promo was pretty good, as it sets up for the road ahead of him, with the impending match with Bryan Danielson coming up at SummerSlam - a stacked line-up for SummerSlam in place already. The exchange from Danielson was good, but should have been saved for SmackDown, I feel. It should be a great World Heavyweight Championship match regardless, that said. Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson defeating the Prime Time Players emphasized Zeke and Ryback as a dominant tag team, but I can't really get behind them too well. I suppose we'll see them challenging the Usos at SummerSlam for the WWE Tag Team Championships regardless - hopefully Jimmy and Jey win. Ryan Braxton with talk time was wise, as he needs to build up a personality with only two matches on the main roster and now the WWE United States Championship under his belt. Jack Swagger with a win over Antonio Cesaro was something, but I'm wondering where this goes next. I liked Kassius Ohno's involvement, though, as the Kings of Wrestling has finally disbanded. Seth Rollins beating Rob Van Dam was fine and should have enhanced the WWE Intercontinental Champion further, which is always a good thing. Randy Orton taking out Rollins should set up his angle for SummerSlam, and I like it - I just don't think Orton should go backwards and aim for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. This show is sooooo long. Bray Wyatt with another promo, and I liked that he sang the Beatles tonight. Very haunting, I can imagine. I retain what I said last week and hope that Jeff Hardy falls to Wyatt and has to join the Wyatt Family. Ryan Braxton defeating Alberto Del Rio is another big win and I'm not sure if I like that - too soon for another big victory against a former World Heavyweight Champion. Dean Ambrose appearing afterwards was definitely expected, though. Nikki Bella defeating Summer Rae, followed by a Divas segment - ok. Brilliant final segment for RAW, with all of the RAW midcarders destroying CM Punk to stack the decks against CM Punk going into SummerSlam. Batista with a lot of heat now, if not from before. I can't imagine you putting the title back on Punk so soon at SummerSlam though, so the finish should definitely be an innovative one. A solid show overall, still very long but it took the right direction in advancing everything currently lined up for SummerSlam.

August 5, 2013 from Resch Center Arena in Green Bay, Wisconsin
The Monday Night Raw intro video airs and the cameras pan into the Resch Center Arena from Green Bay, Wisconsin! Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everyone to the show where tonight, not only will we hear from Triple H, Batista and Stephanie McMahon we will also have Batista teaming up with Roman Reigns to go up against CM Punk and Sheamus! Plus, The Rock is in the building and will address Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman for what they had to say last week. Plus, the World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson was brought to unconsciousness last week on Smackdown when he was placed in the Walls of Jericho, but tonight he has demanded to be in action!
The theme music of Triple H hits and he makes his way out from the back with Stephanie McMahon at his side, the WWE Universe booing the couple. They make their way to the ring and stand in the middle of the squared circle together, allowing the crowd to boo some more. Hunter chuckles and pulls his microphone up, telling the WWE Universe they can think what they want about him and his wife and they can think what they want about the man they are about to bring out, because everything is going great for them. He proceeds to introduce the WWE Champion, Batista, and his theme music hits to some huge heat. He emerges and comes down to the ring all suited up, the WWE Championship belt resting over his shoulder. The Animal comes into the ring and greets the other two before taking a microphone of his own, saying things were going great until last week. "CM Punk lived up to his name last week! He acted like a punk by attacking me! So tonight, in our tag team match I'm gonna beat Punk down to the point he can't make it to Summerslam in two weeks!" He breaths heavily as Hunter tells him to calm down, saying that he can take all of that anger and save it for later on.
The 'Best in the World' makes his way out to the top of the stage with a big smile across his face after his theme music hits, the WWE Universe exploding as he pats a microphone in the palm of his hand and points down to the ring, "It looks like the big, bad bitch can't stop moaning to daddy!" He snickers as Batista and Triple H glare up the ramp, fuming. "Then we have the rich princess just standing there... and for the first time in her life, she doesn't have anything to say! Nothing at all! You know why, folks? Because this 'punk' right here laid Batista out last week and gave them all an example of what is going to happen at Summerslam!" The crowd cheers on one of their favorites and begin to chant his name, Stephanie stepping forward in front of Batista and Hunter to tell Punk that she doesn't need to be disrespected by the likes of him. "As a matter of fact, I don't even need to listen to a word you say because it doesn't matter what you say, Punk, because everyone here knows that at Summerslam you won't be defeating Batista. You see, we ensured you would become the WWE Champion at WrestleMania and we ensured Dave would become WWE Champion just a few weeks ago and now we stand in the situation where we could do the same thing over and over again." She gives an evil grin as Punk says they can throw whatever they want at him, he'll step up to the plate. Stephanie explains that herself and Hunter will not get involved, it was just a fair warning. She also says that there is another warning for Punk in which he watches himself because later on tonight in that tag team match, he has to go up against Batista and Roman Reigns - two men whom could easily rip him to shreds. "Good luck, Punk, you're going to need it." She states, to which he chuckles over and responds by telling Stephanie you don't need luck when you're the best in the world. He heads off to the back, the trio left standing in the middle of the ring staring up at him.
JEFF HARDY DEFEATS LUKE HARPER WITH BRAY WYATT AND ERICK ROWAN VIA PINFALL The bell rings and Harper starts off aggressive, sending Hardy all around the ring and punishing him in the corners working the back and midsection. Hardy starts to fight back and gets some momentum going, only after a couple of minutes he is shoved off the top rope going for the Whisper in the Wind and he crashes to the floor. A commercial break interrupts and upon the return, Harper continues to control things. He sets up for his signature clothesline but Hardy ducks away, only to be blasted with the big boot. Luke gets a few near falls over the next couple of minutes and misses yet another clothesline, allowing Hardy to drop him with the Twist of Fate! He proceeds to go to the top rope and stare down Wyatt and Rowan before hitting the Swanton Bomb on Harper. He hooks the far leg up for the three count.
Hardy pops back onto his feet as Rowan charges into the ring and he ducks a shot from him and rushes to the ropes, diving right through and into Wyatt - sending him right over his rocking chair and onto the floor! The crowd cheers Hardy on as he stumbles back onto his feet and up the ramp as Rowan and Harper roll right out of the ring and stop next to their leader in order to help him up, Wyatt laughing hysterically. "You shall burn Jeff Hardy! You shall burn!" He continues to laugh as Hardy runs his hands through his hair as he heads to the back as Wyatt slows his laughter down.
Returning, Renee Young is backstage and she introduces her guest at this time to be the former United States Champion Dean Ambrose. She proceeds to ask him about getting the chance to face Santino Marella tonight after his assault on him following his loss of the title last week. Ambrose yells at her, saying he shouldn't be the former champion. "I'm the best champion this business has to offer! Ryan Braxton walks in and he says 'I've come here to become a champion because that's what I am' and guess what, Renee? Guess what? He isn't! He isn't a champion because nobody gives a damn about him and half the people that went home last week didn't even remember his name... but people remember the name Dean Ambrose and after I take care of Santino Marella here tonight I'm going to go forward and take back what is rightfully mine! The United States Championship..." He storms off, as the cameras pan into the arena where Marella is already in the ring, prepared for the match against the clearly unsettled Ambrose.
DEAN AMBROSE DEFEATS SANTINO MARELLA VIA PINFALL The match starts off with Ambrose destroying Marella all around the ring. He gets a series of near falls and continues a vicious beat down, only for Santino to surprise everyone by hitting a huge hip toss. He gets a little bit of momentum going and gets all fired up with the crowd, only to get blasted with a huge clothesline out of nowhere! Ambrose proceeds to beat Marella down for another minute before finally deciding to put him away with the Headlock Driver. He hooks both legs up for the three count.
The WWE Universe boos as Ambrose stirs up onto his feet with a sick grin across his face. He rips his arm away from the official as he tries to raise it up and Ambrose drags Marella back onto his feet, throwing him shoulder first into the steel post! He pulls him back and sets up for the Headlock Driver, only for Ryan Braxton's music to hit to a solid pop from the crowd. The United States Champion storms down the ramp and into the ring, charging right at Ambrose only for the former champ to get out of the ring just in time and rush up the ramp. Braxton storms up to the ropes and leans across them as Ambrose snickers, telling Braxton that he isn't a real champion to which he just responds by holding the United States Championship up over his head with a smile across his face.
A graphic appears for The Rock responding to Brock Lesnar tonight on Raw and his return after two weeks is up next!
Returning, the cameras look over the arena slowly until the signature intro to The Rock's theme music hits to a thunderous ovation from the Green Bay crowd! The legend makes his way out from the back and starts to march back and forth across the stage, all fired up. He laughs and makes his way down to the ring, raising his fist up high as he hops onto the second turnbuckle. Rock finally comes into the ring and looks all around, taking a microphone from ringside. He raises an eyebrow up as the WWE Universe breaks into a 'Rocky!' chant. He puts his index finger up to his nose and quiets them down before pulling the microphone close, "FINALLY! THE ROCK! HAS COME BACK! TO GREEN... BAY!" The Resch Center goes wild as Rock looks all around, cracking another smile. "Last week here on Monday Night Raw it wasn't The Rock standing in the ring! No, no, no! That unlucky audience had to sit through the bore that is Paul Heyman and the man of more muscles than words that he knows, Brock Lesnar! Within all of that bore, though, there was a promise! Not just a promise, but a threat... a threat and promise made by Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman to not only beat The Rock, but to break The Rock's arm once again." He nods as the crowd boos and Rock says he uses his arm for a lot of things - he raises an eyebrow to a chuckle from some of the crowd - but one of the best things he does wtih that arm is smack the piss out of 'big roided up freaks' like Brock Lesnar! The WWE Universe roars yet again as Rock says that the battle is only two weeks away, thirteen days away. "And at Summerslam in round three of Great One versus Beast Incarnate, in round three of Rock versus Brock it will be the prior whooping some candy ass and checking the latter into the Smackdown hotel!" He looks all around the cheering Resch Center and goes to give his signature 'If ya smell' only for Paul Heyman's voice to be heard, excusing himself as he makes his way out from the back along with his other client, Roman Reigns.
The advocate for Brock Lesnar speaks up, telling Rock that he is coming out right now in order to make a proposition that will only be offered one last time. "Mr. Johnson, my client Brock Lesnar has asked me to make this proposition, this offer and give you this opportunity just this once: You pull out of the match at Summerslam and my client Brock Lesnar will not beat you a third time, will not embarass you in front of all of your Hollywood friends and will not break your arm." The WWE Universe boos as Rock laughs, asking Heyman if he is serious - which is responded with a resounding yes. Rock proceeds to ask Heyman if he thinks that is what he would recommend. Before Heyman can answer that, however, he gets cut off. "It doesn't matter what you think! How about I give you a proposition, Paul? The Rock is feeling extra fired up and how about next week here on Monday Night Raw you bring Brock Lesnar along with you and while you do that we have The Rock step back into the ring LIVE! On Monday Night Raw against your other client standing right there... Roman Reigns." The two stare down as the crowd goes crazy, Heyman preparing to respond only for Reigns to place his hand over the microphone. He slowly pulls it out of his manager's hands, to which Heyman facepalms over the lack of control. "You already have to go through hell against Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, Rock. But if you want to go through hell next week on Raw too... I ain't gonna back down. You're on." The arena roars as the commentary team is ecstatic as the stage has been set for The Rock to have a very rare match on free television! Heyman tries to reason with his client and Rock tells Paul to shut his mouth. "You do enough talking for your clients, so it is good to hear you have one that can make out a couple of sentences. Roman Reigns, I'll see you next week... if ya smellalalalalalalalel! WHAT THE ROCK! IS! COOKING!" He throws his microphone down as he stares up the ramp at Heyman and Reigns, whom have polar opposite facial expressions to what has been decided for next week.
ANTONIO CESARO AND INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION SETH ROLLINS DEFEAT KASSIUS OHNO AND RANDY ORTON VIA PINFALL The bell rings as Rollins and Ohno start things off, the Intercontinental Champion dominating in the early goings. He gets blasted with a hard elbow, however, and Rollins falls back into the corner and Cesaro tags himself in. He runs right in and goes right through Ohno until Kassius rakes the eyes and tags in Orton. The Viper comes right in and works Antonio until he hits the RKO, Antonio flopping out of the ring to avoid the pinfall. A commercial break intercepts the match and upon the return, Rollins and Ohno are the legal men. After some further back and forth action, both sides make hot tags and Cesaro goes through Orton and sets him up for the Big Swing. Ohno comes in and hits a huge elbow, however, and Rollins comes rushing right in to send Ono over the ropes. He proceeds to hit the Curb Stomp on Orton and The Viper flops across the ring. Orton struggles back up to Cesaro, whom hits him with the Neutralizer! He hooks both legs up quickly for the pinfall.
Cesaro quickly gets back onto his feet to a pop from the crowd as Rollins joins him in the middle of the ring, the two wrapping their arms around one another's neck. Ohno rises up on the outside and looks all around the arena. He snatches the Money in the Bank Briefcase from the timekeeper and hops over the barricade, storming through the crowd! Cesaro hops out of the ring and runs after him as in the ring, Rollins turns right to the RKO from Orton! The crowd boos like crazy as Orton whips his head around ferociously, standing over the lifeless body of Rollins. He snatches the Intercontinental Championship belt from the mat and whips it over his head before tossing it down across the chest of Rollins. He backs to the ropes and slowly exits, making his way up the ramp with a slight grin across his ace.
Returning, a promo video airs for the upcoming E! reality series, Total Divas, featuring todays and tomorrows WWE Divas! Back live in the arena, Diva's Champion AJ Lee is seen at ringside joining in on commentary for the upcoming match. The commentary team asks her what she thinks of the Total Divas show and Lee laughs, calling it a 'shame' and 'disgusting' and she further goes on to claim that no reality television wannabe will ever be a champion like her.
BRIE BELLA WITH NIKKI BELLA DEFEATS NATALYA VIA PINFALL The match begins with Brie taking Natalya down repeatedly and going for pins, only to get two counts repeatedly. After missing a clothesline, however, Natalya hits her with a Lou Thesz Press and beats down with fistts and goes for the pin, only to get a two of her own. Natalya continues to dominate by using her strength and keeps on going with the two counts and ends up getting frustrated with the official, allowing Brie to switch with Nikki. Natalya comes back for the sharpshooter, only to be rolled up by Nikki in a small package for the three count.
Nikki rolls out of the ring to Brie and the two laugh as they back up the ramp, Natala left on both knees in anger at her fellow Total Divas stars. AJ Lee, meanwhile, on commentary says that something like that - unlike last week - will never, ever work on her again because she is a true champion and not some 'phony reality TV star'. She pulls off her headset and stares down The Bella Twins from the announce table.
The cameras pan backstage to Bryan Danielson as the World Heavyweight Champion will be in action - next!
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BRYAN DANIELSON DEFEATS ALBERTO DEL RIO VIA SUBMISSION IN A NON-TITLE MATCH The bell sounds and both men fire away with kicks and work away at the arms of the other. Del Rio gets the upper hand after a cheap shot with the referee trying to separate them in the corner. He continues to work away at the arm and goes for the Rolling Cross Armbar, only for Danielson to roll through and get back onto his feet. He rapidly fires off with kicks to the chest and goes for a big kick to the back of the head, only for Del Rio to duck underneath and dropkick Bryan through the ropes and to the floor. After some battling on the outside, the two come back into the ring and Del Rio gets a little cocky. He goes for the Rolling Cross Armbar again after a couple minutes, only for Danielson to hook a hold of the ropes and stay up. Del Rio flips back onto his feet and is dropped with the Running Knee! Bryan proceeds to lock in the Yes! Lock and Alberto puts up a little fight before tapping out.
Danielson rises back onto his feet and is awarded his World Heavyweight Championship belt. He hoists it up over his head and gets the crowd going with the 'Yes!' chants until Chris Jericho makes his way out to the stage, applauding Danielson. The two stare down as Bryan stops the chant, only for Jericho to start it up himself. Bryan shakes his head and starts to get a mixed chant going as he starts screaming 'No!', leading to a ton of back and forth loudness throughout the crowd.
Returning, Kassius Ohno is backstage with the Money in the Bank Briefcase and is heading towards the parking lot. Antonio Cesaro comes storming up from behind, however, and clotheslines him into the wall. He starts to fire away with shots and rips his briefcase away before swinging it at Ohno, only to miss and be hit with a huge kick to the stomach. Tons of referees and backstage officials come rushing in to break things up as the two former tag team partners try and get at each other. Stephanie McMahon steps up into the chaos and yells at the two of them to knock it off. "Antonio! You won that briefcase fair and square at Money in the Bank last month but if you want to get your hands on Kassius, you can have him at Summerslam with the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Briefcase on the line!" Cesaro nods and says he can handle it and he is pulled away some more, Ohno vowing that the briefcase will be his at Summerslam.
The cameras pan to Renee Young and she introduces her guest at this time to be 'The Celtic Warrior' Sheamus. She thanks him for his time and asks what he thinks about Roman Reigns taking up a challenge against The Rock next week and if that effects anything going into their match at Summerslam. "Renee, Roman Reigns can do whatever he pleases. As long as it doesn't piss me off." He chuckles, saying that is too late though. "Ya see, he got under my skin a few weeks ago and that ain't gonna go away until I knock his head off his shoulders with the Brogue. If he wants to take a night to face The Rock, he can do just that... Rock is a tough fella, but with all due respect, he ain't no Celtic Warrior, Renee. I tell ya that much right now. Tonight, I might just give you a preview of what it is gonna look like at Summerslam." He flashes a smile and heads off, the main event tag team match still to come later on tonight.
Returning, WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos are seen at ringside talking with each other as they will observe the upcoming triple threat match, where the winners will get a WWE Tag Team Championship match against them next week on Raw.
RYBACK AND EZEKIEL JACKSON DEFEAT THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS AND R-TRUTH AND KOFI KINGSTON VIA PINFALL TO EARN A WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH The bell rings as Truth and O'Neill start things off, the latter getting the upper hand early on. The Prime Time Players seem to work along with Ryback and Jackson, making tags with them to dominate Truth in the early goings. Truth manages to fight back against Ryback, however, and makes a diving tag to Kingston. He comes in and drops Ryback with a huge dropkick to the head. After a few minutes of chaos among the teams, Jackson ends up the legal man against Young and drops him with the Book of Ezekiel right in the middle of the ring. He hooks both legs up for the three count as the others can't stop the finish.
Jackson gets back onto his feet and smiles as Ryback joins him, embracing his partner as the two of them will get yet another opportunity to win the WWE Tag Team Championships next week on Raw against The Usos. The two teams stare each other down.
Backstage, Goldust is seen taking off his gloves in the locker room and seeming ready to leave. Dolph Ziggler steps into the room and laughs, asking Goldust what he thinks he is going to do without Cody Rhodes around. "You've got nothing without Cody, Goldust! Face it! You need Cody so you can be any amount of relevant anymore." He snickers as 'The Bizarre One' gets onto his feet, taking a deep breath before asking Ziggler if he wants to find out about how relevant he is. "How about I meet you down in that ring, Dolph?" The two continue to stare down as Ziggler tells Goldust that he is on with a snicker and leaves the room.
Returning, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are in their office talking back and forth until Batista walks in, the WWE Championship over his shoulder. "I was being serious earlier. I'm going to rip Punk to shreds tonight! I'm not waiting until Summerslam, you got it?" He stares at the most powerful couple in wrestling and they both raise their eyebrows up at the comments, Hunter actually starting to laugh. He says that Punk never had that interest, "As a matter of fact, Dave, he always wanted to run away. We know it is best for business that you two do face at Summerslam but we also know it is best for business that you remain the WWE Champion. We've been discussing it all night and we have agreed to let you just go out there and do whatever you please. If you want to break Punk's back, I don't give a damn! Just take care of business, Dave." He pats him on the shoulder and the WWE Champion vows he will and heads out.
DOLPH ZIGGLER DEFEATS GOLDUST VIA PINFALL The match starts with Goldust putting up a strong fight, firing away with punches and uppercuts. He goes for an early Shattered Dreams but Ziggler throws an elbow up to block Goldust from hitting it. Dolph proceeds to take complete control of the match and dominates Goldust, getting a few near falls before dropping him with the Fameasser. Another two count comes after and Ziggler gets frustrated, bashing Goldust's head off the mat. He storms around the ring before being hit with a huge shot to the chin. Goldust mounts a comeback and even delivers the Final Cut, only to get a two count of his own. Both men stagger back up and fight back and forth for a short while until Ziggler ducks a clothesline in the corner and hits the Zig Zag. He hooks both legs up for the three.
Ziggler gets back onto his feet and laughs as Goldust remains on the mat in pain, having come up just short tonight. Ziggler runs his hand across the face and takes some of the facepaint, rubbing it across his chest. He snickers and backs to the ropes, exiting the ring and making his way towards the back as Goldust is left in the middle of the ring, unable to pick up the victory in his first match in a long time without his brother at his side.
Returning, Jack Swagger's theme music hits as he and Zeb Colter make their way out from the back and down to the ring, getting some strong heat from the WWE Universe. Colter pulls a microphone up, "Fellow Americans, last week here on Monday Night Raw my fellow REAL American Jack Swagger seized opportunity! He did what any real American would do and seized the opportunity to defeat Big E Langston in the Big E Challenge. However, he has been ridiculed ever since just because he used a strategic tactic to get the job done!" Colter goes on, trying to defend how Swagger cheated to win. Big E Langston's theme music hits, however, and Langston stands atop the stage with a microphone of his own. "I'm sorry to tell you this, Zeb, but a REAL American doesn't cheat to win! A REAL American puts up a fair fight win or lose... clearly, Jack Swagger and yourself aren't real Americans because you have to cheat to get your way." Swagger snatches the microphone away, yelling at Langston in anger over being called not a real American. Langston laughs and says he'd like for Swagger to prove that he is next week on Raw! Colter and Swagger consult with each other before accepting the challenge, Langston saying he'll seem them next week. He heads off to the back having got what he wanted while having put a thorn in the sides of Colter and Swagger tonight with his comments.
The cameras cut backstage to Renee Young and she introduces her guest at this time, CM Punk. The crowd pops in the background as Punk comes forward, Renee asking what he thinks about Triple H telling Batista that he can go ahead and break Punk's back if he wants to earlier on. The 'Best in the World' chuckles and shakes his head, "Oh, Renee, you have so much to learn being here. Triple H says he wants this, then he wants that and then he does whatever he can to get his way. Tonight, Batista thinks he is going to rip me to shreds but I've got news for him... I'm the best in the world and tonight I will pin him and at Summerslam in thirteen days I will pin him again! I will make him Go To Sleep broken back or not because I deserve to be the WWE Champion and I will do whatever it takes to get that title belt back around my waist." He heads off as the main event is coming up next!
WWE CHAMPION BATISTA AND ROMAN REIGNS WITH PAUL HEYMAN DEFEAT CM PUNK AND SHEAMUS VIA PINFALL The bell rings as Sheamus and Reigns start things off, getting very aggressive with each other. They both use their power to run through one another in strings of momentum, Reigns eventually making the tag to Batista. He comes in and works Sheamus for a couple of minutes until Punk comes charging in after some mocking and he drives Batista right over the ropes and to the floor, Sheamus sending Reigns off as well. A commercial break interrupts and upon the return, Punk is now the legal man and is being beat down by Reigns in the corner. The 'Best in the World' starts to mount a comeback, however, and gets a few near falls on Reigns before making the tag to Sheamus. He proceeds to run right across the ring into Batista, whom has refused to get in the ring with him the whole match. The two collapse onto the floor on the outside and begin to brawl as in the ring, the referee distracted enough to allow Heyman to give Reigns a chair and hit Sheamus across the back! He tosses it to the outside and drops the Celtic Warrior with the Superman Punch! He hooks both legs up for the three count.
The crowd boos as Reigns rises onto his feet with a grin, Heyman tossing the chair back into in. He starts to slam it across the back of Sheamus over and over again until Punk comes into the ring, leaping onto the back of Reigns. He takes him into the corner and slams his head against the corner, only for Batista to come running in from behind with a spear! The WWE Champion gets right back up and throws Punk to the outside, following after him. He rips the cover off the announce table, pulling Punk up slowly. He raises his thumb up and slams it right back down, lifting Punk up onto his shoulders, dropping him with the powerbomb through the announce table! The WWE Universe boos as Batista snatches his WWE Championship and raises it up high over his head with a smile across his face as Monday Night Raw comes to an end.

RAW time, Welcome Back AJ, nice promo to kick off RAW between Punk and Triple H. Jeff Hardy gets another win against the Wyatt Family Member building some momentum for the Inferno Match at Summerslam against Bray Wyatt. Nice win for Ambrose against Santino, might bring him back to the United States Title. The Rock back on RAW and challenges Roman Reigns just six days in time before his match against Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. Excited to see that happen, if memory serves me right. The Rock hasn't wrestled on RAW since April 2003. Nice Tag Match with Cesaro and Rollins getting the win against Ohno and Orton. A good win for Brie against Natalya with AJ still on the warpath against the Total Divas. Nice win for Danielson against Del Rio in a non-title match, loved the confrontation between him and Jericho. So Ohno stole Cesaro's briefcase, I haven't read that somewhere, but good idea to have these two face off at Summerslam. Nice win for the team of Ryback and Jackson. Like that idea of Ryback and Jackson being a tag team too. Good win for Ziggler against the former Intercontinental Champion Goldust. Swagger vs Big E is a good idea for next week and the ending with a big tag team match between Batista and Reigns against Punk and Sheamus, nice to see these two giants stand tall against Punk and Sheamus. Great show, keep up with this and by the way you gotta catch up on my WWF 1994 Diary.

Nice way to open up the show with the COO Triple H, his wife Stephanie the Commissioner and the WWE Champion Batista only for them to be interrupted by Batista's SummerSlam opponent The Best in the World CM Punk to set up tonight's main event of Batista and Roman Reigns to take on CM Punk and a mystery partner I wonder who it will be?
Jeff Hardy gaining momentum before his SummerSlam match against Bray Wyatt in that Inferno Match, by beating a Wyatt Family member beating Luke Harper which of course was no easy task and then Jeff Hardy after the match getting through Rowan to get to Bray Wyatt knocking him off his rocking chair, you can bet that there will be hell to pay after that
Ambrose beating Santino, strong message sent to Braxton, Ambrose is obsessed as it seems with wanting the WWE United States Championship back and that he will do just about anything to get it back but Braxton he has proven himself worthy of being WWE United States Champion even though he is a very raw rookie he is good
The Rock back on RAW, I love it and the fact that he is going to have his first televised match in over 10 years on RAW by facing his cousin Roman Reigns who of course is a Paul Heyman Guy but also because of the fact that Rock and Reigns are family that they are cousins in real life so to see them going at it on RAW and before Rock's match with Lesnar at SummerSlam, I can expect Lesnar to show up costing Rock his match against Roman Reigns or it all turning into am ambush only for Sheamus to make the save and it turning into a tag team match with Rock & Sheamus vs Lesnar & Reigns
World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase holder Cesaro and WWE Intercontinental Champion Rollins getting the win against their respective rivals Ohno and Orton, I love it because it gives them even more momentum heading into SummerSlam well for Cesaro and Rollins anyway but seeing Orton leaving Rollins laying yet again, could that be a sign of things to come at SummerSlam? And Ohno taking off with the briefcase like how he did and Cesaro in pursuit it makes me wonder if these 2 will be going at it at SummerSlam with the briefcase on the line?
Brie Bella beating Natalya, gives her even more momentum because of Total Divas I could see why the Bellas are getting a push but I doubt either one of them either Brie or Nikki will be able to win the WWE Divas Championship by beating AJ but AJ of course she is jealous that she isn't on the show and I could understand why? Because she is the WWE Divas Champion but yet she is being overshadowed by divas who aren't even in the same league as her
World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson beating Del Rio gives him even more momentum heading into SummerSlam especially since he has to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Chris Jericho but then seeing Jericho show up after the match I would have thought that Jericho would have attacked Danielson but he didn't but instead applauds him you can bet one of these days when Jericho has a match that Danielson will either interfere or he will show up to Jericho's matches
Ohno and Cesaro backstage brawl and it leading to Stephanie McMahon making it Cesaro vs Ohno at SummerSlam with the briefcase on the line I love it, I can't wait
How many teams do Ryback and Big Zeke have to become #1 Contenders for those WWE Tag Team Championships? Because we all know what is going to happen here folks...we all know that the WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos will beat Ryback and Big Zeke because they have already beaten them like twice or 3 times now so why put on the same match over and over again? I seriously don't get that at all because when it comes down to it Ryback and Big Zeke simply just can't get the job done
Ziggler beating Goldust, it makes me wonder just how far Ziggler has fallen considering at one time he was the World Heavyweight Champion he main evented WrestleMania and looking at him now seeing this...it's sad really...pathetic to see what Dolph has become to see what he has been reduced to being a midcarder now when at one time he was the main event and now he isn't but here is hoping Dolph gets catapulted right back into the main event scene
Swagger vs Big E next week on RAW, I can deal with that
Batista and Reigns getting the victory over Punk and Sheamus, I love it, and to see both Batista and Reigns stand tall over Punk and Sheamus was an even better way to end off RAW!!!!!!
I can't wait until Smackdown... 13 DAYS AWAY FROM SUMMERSLAM!!!!!!

| REPORT: CHRISTIAN MAY RETIRE SOON | UNDERTAKER RETURNING AFTER SUMMERSLAM?
| WWE REPORTEDLY LOOKING FOR A GM | After winning the WWE Championship for the first time in 2010 against his best friend Edge, Christian was put into a storyline where he had his neck crushed by Kane (whom would go on to take the WWE Championship away in the same night) and put him on the shelf. Since then, Christian has been dealing with injuries over and over again.
Now, currently dealing with an elbow injury, it is being reported that Christian has contemplated retirement. Unfortunately for 'Captain Charisma', his career has been altered by the injury bug and could ultimately cost him it. | According to multiple sources, there has been many rumors flying around that The Undertaker is going to be returning the night after Summerslam. While the Dead Man did make a small run following his match with WrestleMania 28 with John Cena to go on and form 'The Mercenaries of Darkness' in his first non-WrestleMania run in quite a few years, it does seem odd for Undertaker to be appearing at any different point in the year.
As the rumors fly around, speculation begins. There doesn't appear to be any clear cut answer if this is official or not, however, and will remain to be seen. | For over a year now, Stephanie McMahon has been in the role of commissioner but it has been reported that the WWE is considering finding somebody for the role of General Manager, especially with Steph taking on more of a workload behind the scenes. Although she will still be appearing on Raw, if a new General Manager - or Commissioner - does come along, it won't take much power away from the duo of Stephanie and Triple H.
The consideration of a General Manager coming in is apparently to bring in something fresh compared to Stephanie's role since April of last year. |
