- Correct scle - Good it dont bother you but for realistic collection scale is a biggish issue. And many people have been saying it for a long time. - JTG's leg - True maybe they might have made one but a cena leg would have been better than nothing. - Taker's arms - Cant say i have a problem with jakks taker either. - Primo - Shelf warmer or not, he was a big part of the tag team scene as part of the 1st ever unified tag champions and was around over a year. If swagger can be made there was NO excuse why primo wasn't. Maybe he would have ended up on whatever shelf of yours that still doesn't mean others didn't want him. - Kane's boots - Correct for jakks version's of boots just too small. - Knee pads ect - Dont really bother me too much what size either. - Torso sizes - Never had a problem if the torso given as been corect or not most of the time so them not been overly musclely aint a problem here. Just my take on things and those are reasonable/respectable takes. -I know Jakks was weird with their scales. My point was really showing that it's not like everyone was the same exact height. I don't like that my Bourne is as tall as Batista, but it didn't stop me from buying the figure. - It would have, but most people would end up complaining about it anyway. - Maybe Jakks already had their lineups planned through a few months then once they found out the contract was going away they decided to cut some people out? Truth is, no one really knows why Primo was never made. These are the only (currently active) superstars/personalities Jakks never made: jerry lawler michael cole primo sheamus dolph ziggler justin roberts ranjin singh todd grisham abraham washington josh matthews tony chimmel tyler reks yoshi tatsu That's pretty impressive to be honest. - I think Jakks just made 100000000 Kane figures off the first production, or else they would have eventually changed the boots. - Completely agree with the other points. just adding to your statements, haha

Maybe your right they already had line-ups and they changed them but they managed to give us swagger and a returning christian with a new scan, which makes not getting primo more bizzare. For the majority i've been pleased with what jakks has done and made buying figures enjoyable but the way they have been with details ect these last few months really put me off them. Losing the lisence or not they still should have done better imo. Mattel is fresh of breath air and knowing what they have done with other lines im pleased with what they have given us with protos so far.

If you are going to post such a long dissertation on why a company's product are such garbage You should at least spell the name right. yea thats a good point. for some reason i had it in my head they had 2 L's. don't really know why. fixed the issue though I wouldn't say they are garbage. If anything I said the good things are all of the detail & effor they are putting in. I'm just tired of reading all these bandwagoners jumping off Jakks because the AD38 Christian has no details on his pants and apparently the Mattel figures are so "realistic" Guys like Dan88 have it right. He at least is admitting it's because of the last couple of months that Jakks has turned him. It's not how I feel personally but I'm not going to slam a guy like that for being honest about it. I really like Mattel's ambition in putting out so many different characters in the first few sets. Although Jakks did the same thing. Look at RA1-3 & AD1-3...

Okay, quite honestly, those who think Jakks is the better company are in need of an eye exam. Seriously, I mean, sure Mattel's heads aren't perfect, but do we have to pull up some images from the BCA line? Mattel has already blown half of Jakks' heads out of the water. Now, let's take a look at the things Mattel has now given us and Jakks never did(and had ample time to): -Correct scale. -JTG's pant leg. -Morrison's pants. -Fully detailed Undertaker tattoos. -Primo Colon -A diva with her own sculpt. -Custom accessories(hats, for example) for each figure. -Kane w/correct boots. -Different sizes and shapes for kneepads and elbow pads... -Kanes, Jerichos, HBKs, etc. that have not violated the wellness policy. Seriously, go ahead and complain about headsculpts(regardless of them not being that bad and it being Mattel's first try) and 'big' shoulder joints, sure they are a bit big, but, really? Really? I'd take slightly bigger shoulder joints over a 7-foot Evan Bourne, or a Chris Jericho with 52 inch pythons. Mattel > Jakks, swallow your pride and admit it. It's like someone who's been eating poop their entire life and is served a filet mignon for the first time, then they try to say... It's alright but I still like poop tastes much better. Since you're such a Mattel homer now I will rebuttle your points in how Mattel apparently is the greatest company ever...everything in my own personal opinion of course, which I am allowed by law to have. First of all in NO WAY can you compare Mattel to the Jakks BCA or TTL figures. It was a completely different era. Technology was not the same. They didn't have "real-scan" back in 1996. Not to mention Jakks only did BCAs for about 3 years. Out of all the Mattel scans I've seen about 4 or 5 that are spot-on. Out of Jakks HISTORY of real-scans/sculpts I could probably find 5 that were garbage. -Correct scale. Yes its nice seeing such attention to those details. However, in Jakks case, alot of figures are...some aren't. Big Show is taller than Cena. Rey Mysterio is shorter than Batista. Bourne is as tall as Cena. It was a hit or miss. It just doesn't bother me. -JTG's pant leg. Jakks only released 3 JTG figures. It wasn't necessary to create an entirely new leg mold for ONE figure. If they were going to continue on past 2009 they probably would have released him like that but everyone would be bitching that its just a Cena left leg & a JTG right leg-Morrison's pants. Yeah, its a different attire. Welcome to the world of progression. It would have been done by Jakks too. Take a minute to look back at all of Morrison's Jakks figures. Most had different attires. They never made that specific one because they stopped making Morrison figures because they lost the WWE license.-Fully detailed Undertaker tattoos. Because Jakks gave Undertaker figures bare arms? All my Undertaker figures look just fine to me-Primo Colon If CARLITO'S figure warmed shelves....what do you think Primo's would do?? When is the last time Primo was on TV? My Jakks collection really doesn't feel empty without a Primo figure. He would have just ended up on my Future Endeavors shelf along with the likes of Simon Dean, Luther Reigns & The Basham Brothers -Custom accessories(hats, for example) for each figure. Besides hats...what else is there??? A Sledgehammer for HHH? Got it. A Pendant for Cena? Got it. 90% of Jakks' figures come with an accessory of sorts. Mattel gives you Display stands....and Undertaker gets his hat...wow. -Kane w/correct boots. Jakks did give him correct boots. The boots they gave Kane are the same boots they gave Finlay, Kozlov, HHH, Batista, I could go on.-Different sizes and shapes for kneepads and elbow pads... un-necessary detail. Since Mattel's figure arms are so skinny and skeleton-like, the elbowpads will just fall off anyway.-Kanes, Jerichos, HBKs, etc. that have not violated the wellness policy. Instead they have gone on Weight Watchers. I'm sorry but I'd rather have my wrestlers look muscular than anorexicand don't even start with the Elite line. Yes in detail, they are better than what Jakks did. They also are going to cost $20. If you wanted cloth shirts to come with every single wrestling figure you have to PAY for it. You think Jakks would just release all these extras and the figures would stay $9.99?? Gimme a break. They'd be $15-$20 and NO ONE would buy them. Okay, okay, okay... First off. I APOLOGIZE for one thing... implying that people do not have an opinion. Of course you do. I was directing the ending comment at certain people who are bashing Mattel just to bash them, not you, others that come on and complain about the smallest things in the world, things that Jakks has not done any better. So, I do apologize for THAT. That being said, do NOT call me a 'homer' or band-wagon jumper or anything like that. Because, I did not wait for them to become popular and jump on when everyone else did. I waited things out and remained neutral until I saw the product. Then, when we got our first glimpse at bobsagetbrigade's protos, I was hooked. Then, I was further hooked when we saw the painted product. I never said I hate Jakks, in fact, I love Jakks, but, IMO Mattel in 100x better. I don't think their headscans are that bad at all. And, quite honestly, I don't think things such as your reasoning behind them not making JTG's pantleg, or Morrison's pants are legit reasons. When you really think about it, Morrison doesn't wear jeans, atleast not the same jeans as Deuce, Domino, JTG, etc... And, JTG's pant leg is a key part of his attire, so, yes, its a figure that they shouldn't be recycling all parts for. I can deal with reusing parts as long as it doesn't effect their attire. But, really, I just feel like even though I don't mind doing it, we shouldn't have to do fix-ups just to have correct figures. I mean, half Jakks' torso choices are just wayyy too big... And, they sometimes don't fully paint figures, things like that... They also never gave us a Morrison with back designs. I'm not just talking about these last few months, I actually understand their slacking, it's the end of the line, they have more important things to worry about, I'm not really taking that too personally, but some things they've given us have just been annoying. Punk, Jericho, Bourne, Taker, Edge, etc. are all the same height, things like that. You can argue that's not a big deal to you and that's fine, but that, IMO, makes for a lack of detail. And, Elites are only going to cost a dollar or two more than DAs, so around $15, so I could argue about them as well. I won't because I really don't care as I'll likely stick with the Basics. Basically, don't call me a band wagon jumper. I am probably one of the few people on this site that doesn't let others influence their decisions. So, that's that. Sorry for being unclear about the 'opinion' deal..

I know the scans are getting a bit of hate, especially carlito but honestly for me thats my fav scan of carlito i've seen. Alittle cartoonish? yes but imo that suits carlito.

The elite figures are going to be $14.99. DA's go for $11.89 at TRU. For only about $3 more...you get a superior figure with character specific accessories. UT also comes with his coat...not just a hat. Embrace change. Oh...and this is good change, not the type that moron from Chicago promised us last year.

If part of your rebuttals are "the figures are needlessly detailed - Jakks would probably have done that if they had kept the contract" then you DEFINITELY have no room to call someone out as a "homer" when you yourself come off as a huge Jakks loyalist/apologist. If you don't like Mattel for their sculpts or builds, fine. But to complain about the figures having details that make them more accurate? Jakks didn't NEED to make a new leg for one figure? Neither did Mattel and, yet, here we are.

some figs are awesome (Kane, Mark Henry, Santino, Swagger) but other figs are horrible: - Finlay has loose weight and the head scan is not good - Mysterio legs are so big - CM Punk has black n white tatoo not coloured - Jericho, Big Show and Undertaker head scan are horrible (jakks hed scan are better imo)
