Welcome to Thanksgiving Throwdown! First off, we had some no shows. Big surprise there. Tex vs. Guster will not take place as both were no shows. BRK vs. Bio vs. Hollywoodundead will also not take place due to no shows by Bio and Hollywoodundead. Gate vs. Gore will not take place due to a no show from Gore, but as Gate did such an amazing job, i'm changing the match to a showcase, so everyone can see the amazing work he did, as a special attraction to the main event, i'll be posting a Movie Maniac myself later on tonight. Sandy vs. Mr. Saveus vs. TEAMRATEDCDS: Open StipulationWFCC Cruiser Championship: NYDream (C) vs. Warheart: Cartoon CharactersAs BRK was no showed, i'm showing his custom as a showcase The Main Even Showcase: Gatecitysinner: Movie Maniacs and MonstersLet the judging begin! Additional pics can be viewed at this adress, s878.photobucket.com/albums/ab344/titantrapcustoms/I'd like to say a special thank you to everyone who showed for the matches. Those of you who did not will NOT be included in the next show, with the exception of Guster who came to me ahead of time and bowed out. Those of you who straight no showed are suspended for one show. Thanks again to everyone! -----edit------ Titantrap Movie Maniacs and Monsters Showpiece: Boris Karloff in "The Black Cat"

HOLY SHIT!!! To everyone who showed great work! I vote that BRK ges an immediate CW Title shot. I know he was no showed but his custom is great and alot better than anything he has done before. Not to mention there is no one else to face the CW champion. IMO he should get the shot at the winner of me vs. Warheart...
Who are the judges???
Also Im working on my full reviews right now!

Ok so here are my full reviews...
Sandy vs. Mr. Saveus vs. TEAMRATEDCDS: Open Stipulation
Sandy's Mortis:
This is a really solid custom. The torso looks great along with the legs and skirt thing. The sculpting and painting on it is awesome and very smooth. The shoulder things look odd to me but I guess they were odd in real life too. The cane is awesome I like the skull. The biggest flaw to me is the head. The nose really throws it off for me. The hair is a bit off to me also. Overall this is a great custom but deffinatly not your best man, and for the love of god get a new camera! haha jk... Good job though!!
MrSaveus's HBK:
Good job saveus. Simple yet effective. No modding or sculpting and an easy headswap but the logos are painted and look factory to me. Unless they are factory, haha. If you painted them then great job there man. The chest hair looks ok to me but a little fake looking. Still overall its a good custom...
TEAMRATEDCDS Undertaker:
Nice undertaker. The painting is good and the lines are nice and straight but Id like it if the attire was sculpted on rather than just painted. Just painting it on to me looks like body paint rather than clothing... But still nice job... The logos on the side of the legs look a little sloppy but thats the only glaring negative on it. Good job man!
Winner: Sandman, due to the ammount of overall work and effort put into it and the cleanliness of his painting on the attire. It just surpasses the other two to me. But for the two young guns facing a vet. they deffinatly stepped it up!
Warheart's Cobra Commander:
I wont be jodging the match but I will review the figure. This really impressed me and I am very pleased with our match win or lose! Its nice to hae an opponent that will make your hard work worht while. It sure beats being no showed! haha... I like the painting on the body it is really smooth and looks like factory paint the way it is applied. The bands on his thighs look sculpted a tad bit sloppily but not too much and hardly throws off the quality of the figure at all. The head is awesome. I just dont get why I can hardly see the eyes through the eye holes unless thats how its meant to be. Or maybe Im just blind. Great job Warheart good luck. Win or lose it was a great show for us man!
BRK, Angus, Cherokeekid, Barrywhite, MANOFATHOUSANDNAMESONWF's: Mr Perfect
Haha nice job BRK... I said it before and Ill say it again you are next in line for a CW title shot IMO. The paint job is indeed your best and the hair looks to be modded or sculpted??? Very smooth painting man good job. Simple but it is very well done!!!
Gatecitysinner's Pennywise the clown:
Wow... Thats all I can say... WOW... But Ill leave a full reply. This is a top 5 best custom in my eyes. It really is, it ranks up there with Beyondos Mankind or Glacier. It ranks with Rozz and famousj's work. Your really evolving into a elite customizer. I mean other than Beyondo, Rozz, and famousj (who all are pretty much inactive right now) who else can top you? I hope Jay can come back and actually have time to compete for a few matches... But give us what we want to see titan! Get a superfight of GCS vs TCKdeen soon. I mean thats the only match that makes sense for GCS right now... Non title exibition! Anyways on to the custom! The head is amazing and now knowing that it is three heads combined makes it even more amazing! The look is spot on man seriously. I love the frillys on the kneck and the baloon accessorie is a great touch. Sucks that Gore no showed but he would have been demolished anyways. When he is focused he can make good customs but he is like a HW version of Mega... Doesent seem to take these things seriously but continues to compete. Why not just say no if your going to no show? Seriously...

So sad about the noshows, I was especially looking forward to seeing what Gore was going to bring, since he's rocked his non-wrestling stips so much in the past. It is what it is, but it really makes it hard on Titan and deflates the momentum when it happens.
Onto the judging...
Sandy vs. Mr. Saveus vs. TEAMRATEDCDS Sandy - There have been a number of amazing Mortis' in the past couple years, so there's a bit of a history to live up to. I don't think this ranks with say Rozz's, but it's pretty darn good. My biggest issue is that the face seems really long and thin, not like Kanyon at all. The detail on the mask is also really hard to see. The shoulder pads and staff are nice additions though, and the painting on the rest of it is solid. TEAMRATEDCDS - This is pretty good as well, although not incredibly difficult. I think sculpting over the muscles a little bit on the shirt to make it look like a shirt with parts cut out would've been a nice touch, considering the rest is putting together off-the-shelf parts and painting. The painting is good though. Mr. Saveus - The painting on the tights ihere is really, really good. I like the gloss and the hearts are really sharp. The whole thing looks really nice and like it's off-the-shelf. Again, aside from painting, not as labor-intensive, but the cleanest of the three. WINNER: This was tough, because for me it's the age-old dilemma of cleanliness vs. amount done. In this case, I'm giving the nod to Sandy.
WFCC Cruiser Championship: NYDream (C) vs. Warheart Warheart - Straight off, I thought, this looks awesome. The painting and sculpting are both super-smooth. But then I realized that there's so much more you should've done to make this accurate and I was a little disappointed because looking at what you have done, you have the ability to pull off the whole outfit. From the pictures I looked up, the hooded outfit went with a military-esque shirt that covers most of the chest and buttons near the shoulder, with a large Cobra Commander logo. Also, there should be a logo on the forehead of the hood. My last gripe here is that the eye holes don't look like they're over the eyes. NYDream - Straight off, I thought this looked pretty bad. But I came around to it. The eyes are really killing me, they look terrible. For a custom like this, you need to keep redoing the eyes until the pupils are the exact same. I like the whole torso, though I wonder why Woody is making a fist, and where's his sheriff's badge!? However, the legs are really wrong. Woody has tall, skinny legs. The muscular thighs are weird. As far as RA figs go, the skinny Colin Delaney legs would've been a much better choice. WINNER - While I was disappointed in the lack of followthrough on what could've been really amazing, for an overall better completed figure, I give the win to Warheart.
BRK - Mr. Perfect looks really nice. It's a kind of easy custom, but you did a good job with it and did the whole skintone and all, making it more difficult on yourself.
Gate - Sweet custom as usual. Thanks for showing! The ruffle is just amazing. I think the face could have a bit better resemblance - longer face, taller forehead, maybe using a Kennedy mouth and fanging it up - but the rest of it is great. I fricken hate that crotch piece but that's not really your fault.

Thanks to everyone who has commented on the matches and show pieces...i've added as a special feature, my own show piece, just as a fun add on to the show. Now onto the judging!
Sandy vs. Mr. Saveus vs. TEAMRATEDCDS: Open Stipulation
Winner: Sandy
Mortis: This is a very well put together custom. The sculpting and part choices are for the most part very good. The failing as previously mentioned is indeed the head. I think the hair is off quite a bit and the head choice was also a mistake. We all have to work with the parts we have so i understand that. Good work and great accesories.
HBK: Very clean and simple figure. This HBK looks like it came off the shelf, however it also feels like there was a lack of real work here. While the painting is very crisp, it over all lacks the wow factor needed to take out Sandy's piece. Great job, i look forward to seeing more from you.
Taker: This one has some major issues, one of which has nothing to do with the actual custom. Good pictures are extremely important in these matches, with fuzzy shots like these it makes it hard to judge your paining skills. the idea is a good one, but from what i can tell there is some sloppy paint work and a general rushed look to the figure. It does however show potential for the future.
WFCC Cruiser Championship: NYDream (C) vs. Warheart: Cartoon Characters
Winner: Warheart
Cobra Commander: The devil is in the details as they say, but in this case it seems to be the lack of details that is the issue. Good paint and sculpting work overall, a clean job on the logos. The sculpting of the mask is off and the eye holes aren't properly lined. But the figure definately evokes the spirit of the character very well, great part choices and good execution.
Woody: I hate to sound mean, but it reminds me of a bootleg Toy Story figure. I applaud you for trying a FHS, i wouldn't do it myself. But it just didn't work out, the eyes and mouth are way off and overall he looks sort of creepy. He also seems exceedingly buff for a slim cowboy toy. Great attention to detail in the shirt, vest and boots though.
BRK's Mr. Perfect: This one was kind of funny for me, i felt like i was looking into the past at one of my figures from a few years ago. BRK has come so far from where he started, his painting and modding skills have vastly improved. Great skintone, clean lines. It's too bad you got no showed, it could've been a good match.
The Main Even Showcase: Gatecitysinner: Movie Maniacs and Monsters
What can i say, amazing work. I think the thing i love the most is the WIP pics. To see this figure come together shows you that customizing is indeed a real art form. I disagree with Becca about the face though, the mouth really evokes the Tim Curry sneer and the eyes also work very well. It really is a near flawless custom. Great work as usual.

Good to see everyone is so sure I would've been demolished. I honestly didn't finish my figure because just a few days ago Gate was asking if this thing was still on because he wasn't going to get the parts he needed, so I wasn't going to use the very little free time I had left to make a figure with the chance that I wouldn't have an opponent. Let me add that having a competition with figures due a couple days after thanksgiving is probably one of the worst possible times, with the exception of having one a couple days after Christmas. I really regret not being able to hand something in, but It sincerely irritates me when people, especially those who shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as I, make ridiculous statements without actually seeing any figures from me for quite some time. It's no sweat off my brow though, at least I'm not going to lose to someone who couldn't even do their own head sculpt and commissioned someone else to make a mask for my figure.

Considering there was over a month to do the custom, i don't feel that the date is a valid excuse. I also would've appreciated a heads up that you weren't going to be able to finish, i might've been able to find a replacement for the match. I realize everyone is busy, we all have jobs, family and other commitments. but if you agree to the match, i feel you should do your best to finish in a timely manner or at the least let me know you ran out of time. I agree that there is no cause for poop talking about those who no showed. You are a damn talented guy and i'm sure it would've been a great custom. I don't feel you would've been demolished and neither did the other official judge that has voted. I don't know why you let that crap get you riled up, it's just poop talking. I wish i would've at least heard from you, but i understand your issues for not finishing. I'm sorry the timing wasn't convenient for everyone, but like i said i figured a month was plenty of time to get something together.

I have a formula that I follow with everything from making figures down to homework assignments. For some reason, I do my best work under pressure, so even in the case with figures, I don't start until the week before or else I'll lose interest and put it off. This isn't anyone's fault but mine, but it is what it is. It just gets so old with people singing the praises of guys like rome, jay, gate, and famousj, but the only two-time heavyweight champion doesn't get a mention. I shouldn't get upset about it though because for some reason all the people here have always had something against me. Even when comparing those names, it's unfair to say anyone is better than the other because all of our respective styles are so different. I'm sort of bitter about the whole suspension thing because after next week, I'm on winter break from college and would be able to work on something for the next show for sure. I blew my chance to become a 3-time champion, and I understand if I need to re-prove myself before I get another shot, but I still want to compete.

No offense to Gore at ALL.
But honestly...do you think you SHOULD be mentioned with customizers like FamousJ, Jay, and Rome?
Because I have been customizing longer than you...and I can say that I don't deserve to be mentioned with talent like that. Is it because you held an imaginary title twice that you feel that way? I mean maybe you have improved leaps and bounds from the last time I saw you but I honestly don't remember anything from you that was as good as lets say Beyondos Glacier...or Jay's Ric Flair....Rozz's Dink....or any of FamousJ's work.
You say everyone has always been against you.....who? Who has been against you?
don't get me wrong though...I'm not trying to bash your work at all..I think you do good customs that are very clean.. But I just didn't understand how you said you get irritated when your name isn't mentioned with guys like Jay, FamousJ, or rome.

It does kinda suck that Ill lose my title against a figure that Rozz made the mask for. But me and Warheart talked and I undertsand his intentions. He was not trying to cheat me. Were cool...
