No, I am not guessing, I know. Okay, we'll see then. I'm just pointing out what Spike's website says. If it was a Knockout Special, it wouldn't be called the same thing as what you say (aswell as every other internet report), is gonna be a recap. ---- TNA and Spike TV released official details on TNA presenting four hours of iMPACT in two separate episodes on New Year’s Eve (Thursday, December 31). The two episodes will be titled “New Year’s Knockout Eve” Parts 1 and 2. The first episode will air at 7:00 p.m. EST, then the second episode will air in the regular timeslot at 9:00 p.m. EST. The second hour of the first iMPACT episode will be going head-to-head with WWE Superstars on WGN, which usually leads into iMPACT on Spike TV. TNA will have a total of seven hours of Impact over a four-day period to end 2009 and start 2010. Says, nothing about a Knockout Special. That's all I'm saying. You could be right and TNA's just not announcing it. But, nothing confirms or even hints at it. |

It will be 2 hour recap show followed by a 2 hour Knockouts special. All original matches taped exclusively for New Years Eve on Dec 21. I don't think so. The Spike site says "New Year's Knockout Eve - Part 1 of 2" and then "New Year's Knockout Eve - Part 2 of 2". TNA's not gonna have their first iMPACTs post PPV as a recap and all Knockout show. \ that guy knows what he is talking about you dont so be quiet |

Colossus is right SG.
So this means, the first proper iMPACT after Final Resolution is the January 4th one...and that means only 2 weeks of build for Genesis :S

How would you know rather he's right or not? SpikeTV nor TNA have said anything about it being a Knockouts Special. There is nothing that even points to it. Yeah, I know he works for, with, whatever with TNA. But, that doesn't mean he's automatcially right. If he, or you can provide any proof that it's a special - great. I'll admit I was wrong and move on. But, no one's provided anything that says other wise.

Part 1 (the recap) is called the same thing as Part 2 (iMPACT/KO Special/Whatever). Why would they name the recap the same as the KO Special? Like I said, if he (or anyone) can provide anything that says "Yeah, it's 100% a Knockout Special" (other than the word Knockout being in the title of both Part 1 and 2). Fine. I'll admit I was wrong but TNA, SpikeTV neither one mentioned it in the press release/info about the show. Just because it has the word Knockout in it.. doesn't make it the Knockout Special since it's a Part 1 and Part 2 deal which would mean the "Recap" would also have to be about nothing but the KNockouts. Also, ever since it was said that iMPACT (12/24) would be bumped for "Star Wars" marathon, and then repoted it would be four hours that it would be a regular iMPACT (Taped on 12/21 - post Final Resolution) as well as a "Year End Recap show" which is already confirmed on TNA's website as it says when you vote for the MOTY for TNA that the top voted matches would air on 12/31 (New Years Eve). I'm just stating what's out there. Could I be wrong? Sure, it won't be the first nor will it be the last. But, I'm providing what known to everyone. |

Nothing's been said about a Ko Special. Am I aying it wont' happen? No. Could I be wrong? Yes. Like I've said. But, I'm saying what's known. They're taping on 12/21 to air on 12/31 (like he's saying) but the word "Knockout" in it doesn't make it a special for them like people are saying. Because, the 2009 Recap that'll on air 12/31 is caleld the same thing. Could he be right? Yeah, without a doubt. But, could I be right? Yeah. We won't know officially until then or until TNA comes right out and says it'll be a special. I know he has "ties to TNA" and that's fine. But, doesn't mean it'll be a KO speical. |

I'm not saying he's wrong. But, at the same time he might not be right. I'm just saying what I know, just like he is. At the end of the day, one of us will be right and the other will be wrong and if I'm wrong I'll say I was wrong. |

I am glad that it looks like a entire episode of KO's. It is about time since they have always toyed with the idea of doing it so this is kinda like a testdrive although I expect it to get low numbers since a lot of people are doing stuff on New Year's Eve.
But it should be cool to see.
