Spike TV is airing TNA Impact at 7 PM and 9 PM on Thursday, December 31st, 2009. No word yet on if it will be 1 episode shown twice or 2 different episodes shown back-to-back. Regardless, this means that hour 2 of TNA Impact is going head-to-head with WWE Superstars at 8 PM. It probably is that Christmas Eve episode...at least I know what I will be doing on New Year's eve. Thanks TNA and Spike TNA for giving me something to do!

If it's two Impact's, I would guess Hulk Hogan would debut on the second one. That way TNA could use the first one as a huge hype tool, as well as to build feuds further.

I know this would be hard, but they should try to pull it off like a four hour special. I think it would be weird if they showed two episodes of Impact back to back.

The 2nd show will be the "best matches from 2009" new years eve special

The Spike site says "New Year's Knockout Eve - Part 1 of 2" and then "New Year's Knockout Eve - Part 2 of 2". TNA's not gonna have their first iMPACTs post PPV as a recap and all Knockout show. |
