Nowadays I don't think WWE really do gimmicks. I just think of it as everyone having a different character rather than a gimmick.
But there have been several times where I've seen a wrestler come out and they've made me think 'you really want me to believe that you leave this arena and are really like that?'
I suppose nowadays the Undertaker fits into that category really, what with his shooting thunderbolts and causing arena black outs.
Thoughts?

Ehhh, I hated that Matt Morgan was given a stuttering gimmick... mainly because you could easily tell it was fake.
Sorry Matt, a good actor you are not.

Yeah that sucked, because Morgan was okay when he first arrived in WWE and was part of Team Lesnar at Survivor Series 03.
Oh I'm gonna go with Kizarny as being the worst gimmick of recent times; he was part of the carnival folk, right? What?

Deuce and Domino was pretty terrible imo. Would of been great in the early 90's now and days, not so much.
Slam Master J is also terrible. Can we say Malibus Most Wanted?

I must say I really do HATE Hornswoggle's gimmick.
First, he was just a helpful little friend for Finlay with no explanation.
...then the bastard son of Vince McMahon.(and he spoke)
...then the ACTUAL son of Fit Finlay.
...then a Guerrero-hating Leprechaun.
...and now he speaks his own dialect of little person language? And infringes on gimmicks?
