Updated- Thanks for all the replys, i see people are happy with the 2 separate lines. I love the Elite line and it be the main line i collect, with alot of the great Basic figures too. This was just a suggestion that if this was what the majority wanted now was the time to make our voice be heard. Thanks again for all who replied and bring on 1/1/10 !

Hi guys and gals this idea has crossed mind recently and i think the time is now to act. I read alot in recent post that if Mattel basic figures had Elite leg articulation then they would have the perfect figures. So i thought "Why can't we?"
If the majority of opinion giving consumers would like to see this why not let Mattel know now early in the partnership with WWE. I can see the product as this-Basic upper torsos on Elite lower bodies with Elite accessories for a retail price of $12-$13. That would simplify the new figures into 2 categories- Flex Force for younger fans and Hybrid series for casual fans & collectors.
As a DA fan i alway wanted the extra leg articulation more than anything else so a lack of a torso joint is not a problem for me. I'm sure the posing & animating community would be mildly annoyed but from what I've seen they can over come it.
So what do you guys think? Should the WWE action figure community push for a hybrid figure from Mattel in 2011? Im sure Mattel has all their figs planned for 2010 so this would be a new project they could work on for us. If you like this idea TELL MATTEL
