This isnt going to work for TNA.
TNA have shown they cant manage their time on live tv (the 2 min x division match last october) The hogan debut segment is going to overrun GUARANTEED which means the rest of the show will be rushed and sloppy
So.....Rushed and Sloppy Impact vs a probably upped game Raw.
This has got epic fail wrote all over it.

A thought: Is Impact going to be from 8-11 or 9-12? Getting the hour start on RAW would be a lot better for them if they could fill the first hour with action and bring out Hogan while RAW starts. You just want me to flip it over to Raw don't you Jimmy?!?

Ladies and Gentlemen, Rock/Hogan III..
That is if WWE gets Rock. Hogan must have heard the rumor too.

With this, I can see WWE actually reaching out for Rock. I know what the reports said, but that was when WWE wanted to work with his schedule. Now, maybe.. possibly.. hopefully, WWE gets Rock for that show. ^^^Nice sig

LOP is reporting that the move to Monday is permanent. If so.....RIP TNA.

Looks like they might have to deal with a 3-Hour RAW the same night. I think Hogan will close the Show with his promo, which will see multiple TNA Stars included.

I can't think of any reason this will succeed on ANY level. -It costs more to produce. -These wrestlers always the times up on PPV, timed TV matches don't do they any favor on live TV. -TNA never has a decent 2 hour edited show, see 8 month between taping/airing of Global iMPACT. -If they have a killer card what's left for the PPV? Can you name 10 TNA matches worth having in 2010? How fast would they burn these up going head to head with Raw? -Anyone wanna place bets on some sh*tty old-times showing up? -WHO THE WOULD HOGAN WRESTLE? -If Hogan shows up then a debut from a guy like Mr Kennedy would be a real waste of time. -WHO, name a friend of a friend, or a guy you ever heard of that wants to watch a 3 hour show where Taz commentates? ANYONE? -If you think Cena never loses.... What will you think if Hogan takes a dive for a TNA guy after beating HBK, Orton, and friends? I am not saying TNA can't have a decent match. But properly using those Knockouts without beating rematches to death and having slut women like TBP and ODB in each segment is VERY rare. I can watch Raw only on USA... But, they put the highlights or entire segment of the top 10 parts of TNA on YouTube. Besides SpikeTV puts the entire iMPACT on their site for stream. I have to watch Raw or TiVo it. TNA doesn't make it so hard to see there show after the fact. I can miss it on Monday. Has anyone considered there are ALREADY 2 MONDAY wrestling shows... ROH doesn't seem to beat Raw up in the ratngs. Everyone knows they are 3 times the wrestling company TNA is. This Hogan business will not dupliacte WCW. I think you're looking at the potential they will fast-forward their budget beyond the point of no return. Hogan and friends might have scored ratings for Nitro. But, they whored their show out so cheap that the production budget and talent pay destroyed any chance for profits. This is why WCW was sold so cheaply, to get the debt off AOL/T-W. Its no secret. They run a show for attention but not to make money. This time I wonder if anyone will even pay attention.

It's only one night though. The reason ROH doesn't beat RAW up is because they're not on a good network. TNA is on a better network than HDNet. I'm not saying iMPACT is going to "own" RAW but to compare TNA iMPACT to ROH on HDNet is a little much tbh. Plus, it doesn't matter if they're a better wrestling kid or not. Is WWE a better wrestling company than ROH? No, look at them. ROH could be where TNA is in years if they get a network like Spike is to TNA. Why not give it a chance before it's the worst thing ever?

Lol what's the point in this. They only get 1.0's on Thursday nights, they'll do even worse on Mondays. This is just Hogans ego thinking he's still a mega draw.
And if the iMPACT is like any of the recent ones, it's gonna end horribly for TNA

Well, i know one thing, unless RAW has something that makes me want to watch their show, I'll be watching TNA for sure. While I applaud TNA for making the attempt, I think it's too soon to think that this is gonna be beneficial week in and week out. They really need a second show, something I guess Dixie is against . Testing the waters is fine, but fulltime is biting off more then they can chew. Tna still has failed to establish a strong identity and garner a bigger fan base, and this is primarily due to their up and down booking. Maybe if they had that down, they would be ready, but they don't. TNA has also failed at trying to recereate WCW. WCW is dead, people dont want to see the same thing over and over, be the alternative. I hope this works out.

First off I think people have forgotten that a similar thing was being said about WCW before they went Live with Nitro. TV shows & PPV's were doing virtually nothing but live on Monday nights & Bischoff changed all that.
With Hogan being the publicity magnet he is people are going to know about this, question is whether they can convince enough people to tune in. The way Hulk is talking about going to war with WWE might get casual fans interested in seeing what TNA has.
Then they need a great show. Hype up Hogan sure. Have him involved in some way, but the rest of the card has to be tight full of exciting wrestling & great storylines. They certainly have the talent to achieve this.
Of course if WWE counters with a 3 hour show, top matches featuring all their names & The Rock as guest host then TNA could be screwed big time.

I don't understand why people are so off on this idea. Its a win-win. If TNA does poorly, then they will learn to focus on their own product rather than always trying to be at war with WWE. If TNA does great, then it forces WWE to step it up and create better programming. What do we have to lose?

I hope they try to put on a decent show. Knowing them it will be 60 minutes of Hogan hype, 100 minutes of backstage promos, 10 minute of wrestling, nine minutes of final hype and one minute of Hogan on air. I really think this is dumb. They will not touch the ratings Raw get and they are competing against MNF! The last regular season football game this season is January 3. No MNF that night. lol I would've sworn the last MNF game was the 4th haha, but thanks for pointing that out.
