Latley Iv Been Watching ALOT Of Razor Ramon matches on various sites and old VHS tapes. I noticed that he was in alot of what some people call "squash matches" It was like he would come out beat up somebody for about 3 mins Razors Edge 'em and 1.2.3. Even a squash match against Jeffy Hardy! I found an old tape of Undertaker vs Razor which was a good match just didnt end like I hoped. I tend to steer clear on the matches I know Razor lost like the WM Ladder Re-Match with Michaels, and where he defended his I.C Championship to Diesel...and lost(I really hated Diesel) But some of my favorites were His Tag Match with Ric Flair vs Mr.Perfect and Randy Savage. If I remember right Ultimate Warrior was supposed to tag with Macho Man but was fired before so they put Perfect in it. But it was a good match.
Razor Ramon was my favorite wrestler back then, Even when he was a heel. But looking back at these older early to mid 90's matches really makes me miss the good old days. Seems like Wrestling was 1000xs better than today. EVERYTHING in wrestling has changed, the intro, the comentators, the titain tron, the promos, the ppv's...even the wrestling ring itself.
Whats your favorite Razor Ramon match?

I couldn't agree with you anymore, Razor was definitely one of my favorites in the mid 90's. My favorite match would have to be against Bret at the 1993 Royal Rumble, Also against Diesel at Summerslam 94, not to mention the two ladder matches against HBK.

He was in an interesting tag match with Bret Hart against Hakushi and Jeff Jarrett back in '95 I believe, but singles-wise, his matches with Shawn Michaels, Diesel and Bret were superb...
The thing about wrestling being better back then is obviously subjective for the general populace, it just depends on what you like, not what you think you should like.

I agree with you on the fact that Razor was great back then, but I disagree, in principle, with the fact that wrestling was so much better back then. Wrestling changes with the times, and it's just not what it used to be. It's okay for it to change. Movies, television, music and fashion are all different, too, because that's how things work. We all tend to enjoy the era of wrestling we grew up with. And that's just the way it is. I am trying to learn that it changes year to year, and I just have to enjoy it for what it is or not watch. You cannot compare it to when you were a superfan when you were younger. It's not fair to the product and to the inner wrestling fan within you. Enjoy old tapes of WWF era stuff and watch WWE for what it is now. You'll enjoy it a lot more.

Scott Hall was excellent during his Razor Ramon days. My favorite Razor match was obviously the Ladder Match at WM10. It was however a total letdown seeing him regress then tail-off in WCW afterhe left the WWE.

There were a couple... When he taged on "The Action Zone" with the 123 kid vs. Diesel and Shawn for the tag titles. That was one of my personal favorites. I've been trying to find that match on the internet and I can't. It sucks!
I want to say another couple favorites are both ladder matches aginst HBK, but there are others i'd rather mention. Like, 1995 RR vs. Double J, 1994 King Of The Ring finals vs. Owen Hart, and 1995 In Your House vs. 123 kid.

I just re-watched his match vs. The Kid from Raw in 1993, where Waltman scored the upset and became the 1-2-3 Kid.
Not Razor's greatest match or anything, but still fun to see from a historical perspective. Early in that match, Razor gives the Kid a knife-edge chop that sounded sick. My first thought was "he knows he's doing this guy a huge favor putting him over on Raw, and is making him earn it."

They have ALOT of Razors Matches along with 100000s of others. I managed to find the Razor Ramon vs Macho Man Randy Savage that was filmed by a fan at a house show....pretty good match not the best quality though.

I remember not being too thrilled about his coming debut when they aired vignettes hyping his debut, due to his time as the Diamond Studd in WCW, and his lame attempt to be AWA's version of Magnum TA, but I was surprised at how awesome he was as the Bad Guy.
While I don't consider him to have been a guy worthy of a World Title, I do consider him to be one of top 10 best IC Champs in WWE history.

Wrestling will never be as enjoyable as I remember it being in my glory days of the late 80's and early 90's but its probably more nostalgia than anything.

Even though the match was kept short, I LOVED Razor's match with Bret Hart at the 1993 King of the Ring. Such a great, underrated match.

I think my favorite match of his, will always be at my first ever live show on 8/15/93. He faced Mr. Hughes in the advertised main event, which took place right before intermission. He'd just started his face turn and looked so much bigger in person.

How many people here would love to see Scott Hall have one more final run as Razor Ramon?? I mean, imagine if he's a surprise entrant into next year's Royal Rumble?? I would seriously freak out. LOL.

He's just not where he used to be physically. I'd rather him stay gone and not ruin his legacy more.

He was awesome. The Razor character really made Scott Hall, some of his best work, to me, was either against Shawn or Goldust!
