;D ;D ;D HOGAN SAYS THAT TNA IMPACT RATINGS WILL "TRIPLE" ON JANUARY 4 When interviewed by Arda Ocal and Corey Erdman of the "Right After Wrestling" program on SIRIUS 98, Hulk Hogan predicted that Nielson ratings would triple to a 3.0 on his debut appearance on TNA Impact on Monday January 4. Hogan went on to list names such as AJ Styles and Matt Morgan as guys with "something there" and that he will look to mold and "bring to life". The full interview will air on "Right After Wrestling" on Monday night December 14 at 11pm EST on SIRIUS Channel 98, Hardcore Sports Radio. ___________________ I consider myself a moderate TNA fan... I go out of my way to record or watch it as there is a good amount of positives in the company and a fresh roster in comparison to WWE where brands can be transparent at times. That said, Hogan needs to learn; 1.0 for hour 1, hour 2, and hour 3 is a 1.0 average not a 3.0 overall.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. They will still be ecstatic if they get a 1.6 or something.

Guys it's very possible, what he meant was ratings will triple... if you combine the three hours with the encore they'll have on thursday.

Over course Hogan is crazy. The first clue was when it said Matt Morgan had something there.

I would say between a 1.4-1-6 if they are lucky.

Hulk Hogan predicted that Nielson ratings would triple to a 3.0 on his debut appearance on TNA Impact on Monday January 4. Hogan needs to realise that it's going to be 2010. He's not a big draw anymore. The 1.0 they get will hopefully wake the old man up.

was this said before or after he took his meds, anyway I don't see them getting a big rating of that night, 0.6 at best is my guess

Hogan is a great revisionist. After the show does a 1.8, I can't wait to hear what he says it did.
"Brother, the ratings went through the roof, dude! Huge numbers in all the markets, man. TNA is to stay, brother!"
But then again, if they do a 1.8, that would be huge compared to their regular 1.3.

TNA needs to stop him from doing media interviews.. Seriously. I'm not saying that TNA couldn't do a better rating. But at this point, sending Hogan out there and letting him make these bold statements....it's a lot to live up to. And frankly, if they don't live up to it, it might do more damage to them. Quite frankly, I'm surprised that TNA hasn't tried anything to get some of WWE's audience over to Spike. Remember how big it was to see a TNA iMPACT! commercial during RAW? How great would that work now? "Hey there, wrestling fan! Like what you're seeing? Well then you should check out this show LIVE! We have new talent you may have not seen...but that's not all. We have HULK HOGAN!" Seriously, that could really do some great things for them.

I would love for Hogan to be right and TNA to bring in great ratings but I (and everyone else really) just don't see it happening anytime soon.

There's no way an iMPACT commerical will air during RAW.

While I personally feel that TNA has made the most of this moment so far, I do think there is even more they could be doing to capitolize on this. Just sending Hulk out isn't going to cut it if they want to make a serious impact.

If they get a 3.0, I'll get that tattooed on my back. Quote it.
