For those that remember Chaz what are your opinions of him? and why did he never make it to WWE or WCW?

For those that remember Chaz what are your opinions of him? and why did he never make it to WWE or WCW? I thought he had a Sam Houston vibe. Lanky, but still was able to show some offense. His matches with X-Pac weren't bad. Once GWF folded, I saw him on an episode of ECW (before the WWE took it over) only once. The crowd gave him a polite ovation when he was introduced. Not sure why he didn't go to WCW or WWE. I can't seem to find any information on him anywhere.

The price is incredible. I wonder how the quality is.

I would love to pick all of them up, but only if it's decent quality. I can't stand grainy video.

Global was great! I only got to watch it once. It aired at 11:30 on Saturday nights in the Houghton Lake area. After I saw that one show, I read everything I could about GWF. I was a huge fan of Eddie Gilbert's from his days in Bill Watts' UWF. So going in knowing some of the talent made it easier to follow in the magazines.

Gilbert was the man, it sucks that he had a falling out with GWF, but even if he stayed I'm sure WWE or WCW would have taken him away. The time slot that GWF aired here in Chicago was weekdays at 3 or 4 PM on ESPN. I would always look forward to it while at school. It was also cool when they occasionally aired episodes of Memphis wrestling instead of GWF.

I never saw WCCW, so to me GWF was like WCCW to a 13 yr fan in the early 80s. I thought it was brilliant. I also thought Chris Walker and Big Bully Busick would be good in the WWF just because they kicked ass in Global, but I was wrong.
