Bad luck or lack of sufficient talent to warrant a leading role? I'm going with the latter.
Matt Hardy has always been the Marty to Jeff's Shawn. Matt has had his chance to break through the glass ceiling and could not, which is why he is midcard for life, which is not a bad place to be in considering he is well paid. Just becuase he has been around for years does not mean he should be rewarded with a World Title. His reward is his weekly, or bi-weekly paychecks.
Shelton Benjamen was placed with Angle and could not get over, Shelton was placed in a program where got clean pinfall victories over Triple H and could not get over, he was given multiple US & IC Title runs that did nothing but devalue the title. Shelton is a great athlete but a poor wrestler. You can not have a ladder match every night which is why he will never be over and as a result he will never be World Champion.
Charlie Haas = Enhancement talent.
Sheamus is talented, big, has a unique look and judging by last night, he not only has the faith of the WWE, but also the attention of the fans. Why is it that most people on this forum could not recognize talent if it were slapping them in the face, and choose to conduct themselves as if they are talent agents scouring the wrestling landscape for the next uncharismatic curtain-jerker to get behind so they can bitch and moan when said performer gets "buried".
I dont think so,Matt is better wrestler than Jeff, Hell even MORE charismatic than Jeff,Jeff got the spot only cuz he is "extreme" for me Jeff is nothing more than a glorified stuntman, like a great champion said, thats not wrestling.
Well it is... its just not technical wrestling... different people prefer to see different styles of wrestling, i'd prefer to watch wrestlers such as Mick Foley and Undertaker over Ric Flair and Bret Hart... Does that make me less of a wrestling fan? no... because wrestling isn't just about technical wrestling anymore
