Gotta do color, not that I have anything against the black and gray look, but for this it has to be big and vibrant, like the trips themselves. I took a look at Tim Kern's work, and it is out- ing-standing. Turns out he is going to be at Hell City, I sent him an e-mail and hopefully I can squeak in an appointment with him to get the part of the sleeve for NYC. Now I just need to figure out what to get for each city.

Oh my God man, I would be forever jealous of you. The thought of that just makes me speechless. ---By the way, I took a look at International Tattoo and Tattoo Society magazines today, both were VERY good (and one had a RAD AVP back piece that I loved) - between those two, and Savage, I am really torn on who to get a subscription to. 'Inked' ing BLOWS, I encourage everyone to avoid that magazine like the goddamn plague. And FYI Casey, be on the lookout at Hell City, Tattoo Society does a LOT of convention coverage, if you get something done, you have a good chance of having it land in their pages.

My cousin is actually a tattoo artist in Boca Raton, Florida. Goes by the name of Danny Quinn if any of you know of him. He's tattooed G-Unit, Busta Rhymes, Jeremy Shockey, etc.

I'm by no means into ink at all, but a few years ago I dated a gal, who wound up being the somewhat estranged daughter of Bald Bill Henshaw. I'd met him 3 or 4 years previous at Tattoo The Earth in Boston.

So, I have an appointment on Saturday to get my work done, but it is also Record Store Day, and my favorite shop is running a bunch of shows and a massive sale.
I might have to wait another week or so to get it done, which sucks, but I should be coming away with a bunch of new records.

The only time I could get in was at 1:00 PM, and the main act I want to see at the store takes the stage at 1 as well.
What is really getting to me is that I want to do this on my arm, but where I haven't been in the gym for a while my arm is rather flabby. Given a few weeks to work it out I can get it defined enough to ink it up. If I got it done this weekend I run the risk of distortion when I get back into the gym.

Well, in that case if I were you, I'd save the dough from this ink session, and wait until I heard back from Tim Kern, and if you can get it, I would ing SPLURGE on some sick ink from him, lmao. The ideas and ink will always be there, if you think you should tone up and wait, by all means - you should listen to yourself!

I actually asked a few artists about distortion when it comes to gaining muscle. They all had similar answers, apparently muscle growth is slow enough not to make that big off a difference. Unless of coarse you're planning on becoming a body builder.

---I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. I got very, very lucky and my little guy survived. He represents a LOT of things to me, especially luck, having cheated death twice. Yup, it's a 77 - in reference to the punk band Blanks 77 (who has been my favorite band since I was about 13). Pretty neat story about that tattoo. A couple of years back I got a PM from GrumpyOldMan who saw the sig I had at the time (which was of the band), and he asked me a couple of questions, and told me he lived with their bassist. I got a few patches from him, and some pins, and he told me they thought it was pretty cool that someone 2,000 miles away (they're from Jersey, I live in New Mexico) still listened to 'em. In reality, everyone of my 'punk' friends loves them to death, haha. Anyway, last summer he sent me another PM and told me they were going to do a one off show in Austin, TX at a place called the Red 7. It just so happened, two of my ex bandmates, and close friends moved to Austin early that year. So I took a bus that was supposed to be a 13 hour trip, got rerouted a few times, had a few other problems, and my trip turned into 25 hours. It was a load of crap, lol. Anyway, GrumpyOldMan came through, I was on the guestlist, and got to have some drinks and meet and hang out with the people in my favorite band. After a night of fun, partying, and damn good times, I got the 77. I even have a video of one of the songs from that night (one of my drunk ass friends was supposed to do the wide shot, which got pretty f'd up, lol). Check out the video! I'm glad you had a blast. They had nothing but nice things to say about you & your friends as well. Getting my Spellbinder tattoo this Saturday. For those who don't know, The Spellbinder was the enemy of Letterman. They were on a kid's TV show in the early 70s called on The Electric Company. Here's a pic:

I really like how you posted pice before the sleeve was complete, like a step by step thing showing the gradual progress. I forgot to also say that Super Dragon mask with the blood behind it is ing killer. Any idea how how many hours of work all of that took?

Super Dragon...it was probably not people who have some sort of sense that tattoos are like personal and such. I really want a damn way to put pics from my computer on to here!
