Oh yeah, and it's going to take up most of my left ribcage. this was my original Idea. until the heartbreaking myspace comment from adam bomb. And what comment was that? I know it's going to hurt soooooo bad lol. |

I think he was talking about what I told him my tattooist told me.
I basically made an off hand comment to him that I thought the closer to my wrist I got, was going to hurt more. In all of the years he's been tattooing, he told me generally, on the scale of 1-10 the wrist is an eight. So I asked him, what the most painful spots are on the same scale.
Knees, in his opinion are a 20 - Ribs are a 50 - The spine he said typically, is off the charts.
BTW, Rant - you still going to Hell City at the end of the month? If you are, I hate you. lol

I don't think so honestly, I was going to head up there with my roommate and another friend, but my roommate and I have both been dealing with money problems, he is just now getting back into work after losing his job in January, and I am scraping by until my fat ass life insurance payoff gets here.
So, I highly doubt that I'll be up there. Kinda bummed, but I'm more bummed for my roommate, he has been wanting to go for 2 years.

Yeah...to be honest my ankle stung way more than my spine and wrist. My daughter marks hard for my wrist tatt though...she tells everyone "My mommy has my name tattooed on her!" |

DAMN THAT IS SICK!
I'm sure some people have spots that hurt worse than others, and those differ person to person... like, my sugar skull was a breeze for me, however - my friend Ty got a tattoo in the same spot, and was in an immense amount of pain.

WELL this has totally interesting, to say the least. I got a call yesterday at 5 pm saying i had to go to dress rehersal anytime from 1-5. I also needed to bring a white shirt. SO, I get home, and aroud 10 pm, I'm driving out to walmart to get a white shirt haha. today, I wake up and i'm going crazy, realizing how pressed for time I'm going to be. I leave to go to the costume fitting today at 1:30, we get there (My friend and I) walk in and get fitted. (I look damn good in a marine uniform, tbh) Then, we go to hair/make up, at this point, it's 3. I'm like " ****, there's no way I'm gonna make it." (45 minute drive to the shop) So I get my haircut (Total jar-head) and then I'm done. By the time my friend finished, it was too late. SO, I had to call the dude and tell him what was going on, since he couldn't push back the appointment because he had another one, I had to cancel. <BAD NEWS:> I had to shave! no more chin-beard </End Bad News>However, I quickly went to another shop and scheduled an appointment (I know the artist's, my friend has gone to him several times, it wasn't a shot in the dark). I'm NOW scheduled to get my star THIS Tuesday @ 6:00 PM. SO CLOSE. I was expecting like 2 weeks, so..we'll see  |

This is the reason I rarely use appointments.
The shop I go to, on the weekends, does "walk ins" only... BUT, if you don't get there early, aka when they open, you could be waiting all day. Hell...
The last time I went (when I got the atom bomb), I was one of the first people to talk to an artist. Chris worked on one guy for a bit, the other artist was tattooing their FINE AS HELL receptionist... and then it was my buddy and I's turn.
Anyway, I got their at noon when the doors opened, about an hour and a half later Chris talked to me, and drew up the design on the spot. I started at around two o'clock, and didn't get done till about five thirty. Right before we got done, I over heard Justin (the guy who did my buddy's tattoo) on the phone with a woman asking how long the wait was, because I had gotten full color, and the size of my piece (backing up everyone who was getting something smaller), it was a FIVE HOUR WAIT. Their policy is first come, first served - so she was expected to be there at the shop immediately, because if someone walked in first, they were put ahead.
Appointments can suck, but I guess if you're early, walk ins can also suck pretty hard.

I've finally decided my next tattoo will be a nude zombie pinup. It'll probably be a month or so though before I get it. I've gotta find a design, tinker with it and what not. I'm also moving.
