Good show and good job BRK. Should be a good match... I went for a more simple approach this time around due to the lack of parts i have haha... But I did re sculpt the hair. Love the Abyss but I havent watched TNA in a while so IDK what attire its from...

Not sure the voting is open to the public, but here's my review.
Guster-
Phenomenal Vampiro figure. I have seen this one done MANY times, most often with Booker T's head (because, you know... Vampiro actually had African-American facial features). I believe that is a Rene Dupree head, and it works. The skintone is very well done, as is the hair, and the facepaint. The most notable features are the tattoos. Not only are they precise and accurate, but they are extremely well done. The clean, neat photo adds exponentially to the professional- looking figure. Fantastic job!
Fulgore-
Nice Ultimo Dragon. It certainly looks cleaner than usual, and I am glad you stayed away from the major modifications that you are not exemplary at. It looks clean. This is the way your figures should look. Stay away from skin tone modifications. Do your work justice, and invest in a new camera this Christmas, Superwarrior.
Guster (winner)- It just looks cleaner. Both are nice.
Dream-
Shamrock looks nice. The skin tone looks nice also, a far cry from other figures, where the figure's painted tone looks similar to a corpse's. This is an extremely simple figure, with very few modifications aside from the hair. I remember Shamrock being a ripped individual, so the knobby shoulders look awkward. Looks good though.
BRK-
This is a nice figure. The shot is a bit far away, so the minute details are lost in the photo. It looks good though. I'd like to see a reference photo, because when I think Abyss, I don't see the connection, aside from the head (which looks dead -on).
BRK (winner). Both look good, but for overall work put in, BRK wins.

 heres the pic i used, the camera i used was a camera phone, i did do alot of detail you just cant see it  i even sculpted the zipper on the jacket as well as the zipper ridges on the jacket.i sculpted a shirt under jacket as well. that hood was supa hard to do, it kept trying to break i love that vampiro gust, the hair is great it even looks like weaves ;D im really impressed with fulgore , trying to step up his game, alot better than the other stufff you have done. guster wins becase its cleaner and better pic quality nydream the shamrock is ok, his too damned muscly though haha. |

This is some of the best work I have seen from all four competitors.
Without a doubt that is the best piece of work I have seen from Fulgore. I don't have anything specific to criticize. Even the choice to use an RA lower leg works, because it would make for a good size scale for Ultimo in the DA line. Maybe the fins on the leg could be connected passed the knee joint, but I can understand why he'd want to keep the clean line straight through and maintain mobility in the knee joint. Guster's tattoo work is simply phenomenal and may be the thing that gets him the victory. I am not as thrilled with the head, but there is so much ornate detail in the tattoo work, that when I look at the custom as a whole, I am completely drawn into looking at the tattoos. Great work, I look forward to seeing what the official judges have to say about this match up.
I am also really impressed with BRK and NYDream and their strong showing. The criticism I have is for both of them and that is that both figures seem a little thin to me. But detail-wise, it's really a close race. BRK's small pic is likely hurting him in this one. From far view it looks like it's pretty accurate, but I hate having to lie on assumptions when judging a custom. Dream's Shamrock demonstrates simple, but great head mods. Also even though I am never a big fan of full skin tones, this one looks damn good. The attire is plain, but that's what Ken was wearing in that era, and it's often smart to go with something simple and rely on solid work, rather than try to reinvent the wheel so to speak. Great work from both CW contenders.

I'm really digging the Vampiro and Ultimo Dragon. For the tattoos, what reference pictures did you use? I'm trying to make him in SmackDown! vs Raw 2010 and I need good pictures for the tattoos.

guster that vampiro is amazing the painting is amazing i love the tats the body is a little bit too jacked compared to vampiro but since u did the skintone why didnt u shave off some of the muscle or maybe even use ra arms oh well sometimes its understandable to get lazy with shaving muscle off of a fig i have done it a couple of times myself
mega i honestly beleive this is your best work i cant tell if the paint is smooth or not due to a combination of a lot of sealer and pretty bad pics regardless i am happy u are finally stepping up your game good effort
in the end i have to give the match to guster on an overall better custom

nydream i really like this custom i wished u jacked up shamrocks shoulders a bit but once again its alright to get lazy sometimes also i think u should have put the design on the back of shamrocks tights
angus this is a really good custom and i love the head and i would have easily gave u the match if your abyss didnt look like he just starved himself for 3 months i think u should have definately used a bigger body type like maybe a beefed up bubba ray body with sculpted pants its alright to be a little lazy but come on man abyss is a really big dude maybe if u gave him a thicker chest i might have even gave the match to u
great job by both guys but i came down to the scale of the body in the match and nydreams was just better
those are my thoughts great job guys i enjoy watching these and not participating in them but i still like to compete i might come back in a few months

Abyss is AMAZING..Only problem for me is the torso. I think it needs to be more flabby, like the one used for Trevor Murdock. Great customs by all though.

Guster vs Fulgore
Guster - The detail on the tat work is simply amazing. Another in the top 5 of Vampiro tats that I've seen. The head though to me looks weird. The head is up in the air. Nose looks like Vamiro and maybe the eyes, but to me the cheeks and jaw line do not. The hair is well done as are the logos on the tights. Very clean and well done. Great job.
Fulgore - Probably one of your best paint jobs. The figure looks clean from the crappy pics as far as I can tell. Please please please invest in a digital camera, must I say, PLEASE!. I think if you had a better picture taking ability you'd get a lot more recognition. The only thing I don't like about the figure is that it's very glossy, you should use a dull coat or a satin/matte finish.
Winner - Guster - Overall he had the better figure, cleaner and detail was far superior.
BRK vs Dream
BRK - You should have said this was a fan dressed up in a halloween costume of Abyss. The body simply isn't large enough for Abyss and to me just looks funny. I'm not even sure what you did to the figure otherwise. Is the jacket sculpted? Mask looks good from what I can tell. Better pictures would have helped with the figure. As I told fulgore, please invest in a better camera.
Dream - I don't know what you modded on Ken's head but somehow you made Jakk's Ken head look more like him. I like the head mods, hair sculpting looks good too. The only complaint on the head is the sideburns, they just look funny. As for the skintone it looks very well done. I see a stray skin tone mark on the tights, but other than that it is very clean. I like the use of the UFC body with DA lower legs, actually worked really well to fill out Ken's profile.
Winner - Dream - I am going to have to go with Dream because I like the use of the parts and the modification done. Both look insanely simple, but Dream's parts look more accurate.

I am speaking on behalf of Mr. Fulgore he is in the hospital after his match with Guster he has been MIA for several days with no access to the web.All bets ar still on and a deal is a deal.Hopefully we will invest in a new camera crew this coming 2010 year.Fulgore is on life support right now and seems like Mega might come make a special visit to him in the hospital.No telling what Mega will do.
