Day 1 for sure. All they have to do is work on some head paint issues (Takers eyebrows, Edge,HHH,& HBK hair color) and all is good.

There is a lot to be excited for with the Mattel line, so I suppose that I have been won over thus far.
Although, I won't be able to fairly judge the product until I see the figures in person and decide if I want to collect them or not from there. I will more than likely try them out.
I guess that shows how quality figures can make some collectors, such as myself, rethink whether or not calling it quits in 2010 is even feasible anymore.

No way.
Mattel's bodies look like crap.
I will probably just stick to a few basic figs like Cena, Rey, divas and those from the Elite and Wrestlemania Entrance series.
I'm glad i didn't sell away my Jakks collection like so many people did.

I was quite convinced from the getgo that thinks were decent but seeing all this other stuff over the past month or so and definitely the past few weeks, my only fear (some heads) has been reassured that mattel is doing a great job. So i was inititally accepting to an agree, but its been reassured since.

I did my best to remain neutral until the first prototype images were released... Though, I admit I had convinced myself they were going to suck. However, once I saw the proto images, I was sold.

Honestly when news broke that Jakks lost the lisence and Mattel was taking over I was bummed/mad. I've had a massive collection of RA and DA figures that I wanted to keep growing with new superstars but now it couldn't. Once I saw the prototypes Mattel offered though I was more than happy with the new product. Then I picked up Evan Bourne and I have to say that its a well spent 10 dollars for a figure with all it's detail and attempts at new and unique sculpts. I can't wait to get some more figures within the coming weeks

It will be very interesting to see what they do with the Classics. Who they sign and so forth.

I've been back and forth. Once I have them in hand, I'll make my final stance. As of now I'm 60/40 in favor of them. The recent scan looked good and I like the sizes.

The figures look nice and all, but until we receive them up here in Canada and until I can see what their pricing will be, they'll only be nice looking figures to me. Mattel better not give Canada's wrestling fans the short end of the stick like Jakks did and not release all series up here.
There were SO many waves from CS, CSTT, Deluxe CS, Adrenaline, RA and more that we never got up here. I'm pretty upset about that and it almost made me stop collecting wrestling figures altogether. I shouldn't have to resort to buying this online and pay shipping on top of it, thus paying sometimes three times as much as the figure would cost in retail. Meanwhile, people in the US get all the waves (most of the time) in regular retail.
