Alot of people are comparing Mattel directly to Jakks. Dont forget jakks has had nearly 15 years experience of making wrestling figures and its taken them this long to get their figures to look the way they did. Mattel has never made wrestling figures before and their 1st attempt is almost as good as jakks and in some cases better. Just imagine how good mattel might be in 2 or 3 years once they get more familiar with making wrestling figures. If anything we should be comparing mattel to jakks early attempts.

The headsculpts in the BCA days were shockingly bad. That one looks more like British Bulldog than Brian Cristopher.

Definitely. I mean sure there is a big technology gap between now and then but no matter what, experience is a huge factor.

Although Mattel do have the benefit and experience of witnessing the strengths and weaknesses of Jakks WWE product.

Listen Mattel owns Jakks ass in every aspect. At least my mattel evan bourne and john cena dont have the same torso. At least my mattel evan bourne isn't taller than hhh. Look at mattels freakin kickpads, you have never ever seen jakks pull that off. At least my mattel jericho has deco on its kickpads while jakks jericho is missing and only can be seen in the archives. You guys must be on crack if you think Jakks is better. Although I have been a big fan of jakks I must admit that Mattel blows jakks out of the water by far.

actaully brian christopher wasnt jakks first bca figures. and remember these figures came out in the late 90's. the bca's are alot more playable then anything right now that is for sale.

with the technology, craftmanship, and money availble to these toy companies today, there is no excuse for products not being near 100% accurate. Anything below that is strictly being done for a later upgrade to milk money from the consumers...Yeah, Im talkin to you Jakks!
