Now me growing up between the "monday night war" I was always such a loyal WWF fan, but after watching nWo Back in black, Four Horsemen, Rise and Fall of WCW and the new world title dvds made me want to pick up a few old WCW tapes on amazon, and suggestions of possibly the best 5 or so ppvs in WCW history as I am currently really intrigued by WCW and want to learn much more. I know it wasnt the best PPV ever but for some reason I want Halloween Havoc 98 simply for the Hogan vs Warrior rematch, also Bret vs Sting and DDP vs Goldberg I believe, however any suggestions will be highly appreciated, thanks guys and Happy Holidays to all my WFIGS peeps!

Ill be honest, as an avid WCW fan go back early and find things from 85-90 and then look for 95-98. Those are probably the best years in WCW history IMO

Ill be honest, as an avid WCW fan go back early and find things from 85-90 and then look for 95-98. Those are probably the best years in WCW history IMO Like G2 said. 85-90, or 95-98 is your best bet. If you can find PPV's on dvd, then please let me know where so I can snag some too. The mid 80's give you the formation of the Four Horsemen, the rise and fall of Magnum TA, the elevation of the TV Title to World Title status, the US Title at it's all time most coveted glory, great tag team wrestling from the Road Warriors, Midnight Express, Rock n Roll Express, Arn & Ole, and Arn & Tully. The rise of Nikita Koloff. Flair's legendary feud with Dusty Rhodes and just great wrestling action and promos from some of the very best to ever grace the ring at the same time. Then as the 90's approach you're treated to the emergence of Sting can't go wrong there. I'd even recommend you go into the early 90's to see the awesomeness that was Vader's run as a monster heel.
