It was an awesome slow burn. I think the next episode will be the rousing, finish! Expertly crafted, so far. I just hope there are some tricks up the writers' sleeves that haven't been revealed yet (Rose, Jack, Martha?) Here's hoping!

Had to miss the episode myself aswell but just watched it on the Iplayer and enjoyed it very much. Tennant and simms are an awesome master/doctor combo and was good to see an emotional side to the doctor knowing his time is coming to an end. Tennant is gonna be so hard to replace but hopefully smith can do him and us proud

Here's hoping! we wont be seeing martha since she is the master race aswell as the sarah jane group, last surviving members of torchwood. Part 2 is gonna be interesting to watch. what do you all think of the masters new powers? also it was up on youtube fully in about 7 parts. I just love the ending of part 1:

just watched it on iplayer, i just got the feeling, that the doctor will go into the immortality tank, change everyone back somehow, get injured in the process, stagger around, say goodbye then regenerate

it was alright, the first 20 minutes (excluding the cribbins scenes) were terrible. the master being ressurected like that was ridiculous, and him bouncing around the 'wastelands' was way over the top. apart from that, it should be interesting. quite interested in what the time lords will be doing, as from the trailer for ep.2, they seem to be against the doctor.

they seem to be against the doctor. Well he was exiled from Galafrey in the old series (during the Tom Baker years he was for sure) but they were also against the master, who actually framed the Doctor for the killing of the president lol. I'm guessing they will be against the doctor for breaking the rules in the Waters of Mars episode.

I used to be a Doctor Who fan when it came back in 2005 but now I can't stand it. Every year it just gets more and more terrible. Just watched it today on Iplayer and it was terrible. Worst episode ever.

I'm guessing they will be against the doctor for breaking the rules in the Waters of Mars episode. he was exiled at the end of patrick troughton (second doctor) which is why nearly all of jon pertwees (third doctor) stories were all set on earth. he gained use of his tardis for helping the time lords in the three doctors, and then was made president of the time lords (invasion of time if i remember correctly). he was put on trial again during the colin baker years (sixth doctor). i always imagined the doctor and time lords to be friends though.

How do you think he'll regenerate?
I think either what i said before or the timelords will force him to

I can't stand Dr Who either. It looks terrible. Everything about the story, setting and look of it screams failed 70's Sci-Fi.

It's like anything, people will like and dislike it.
I personally like it, but I've doubts that next series will be any good with the new doctor.
