Today I decided to go on a massive hunt for Mattel WWE figures after finding all of Basic Series 1 and a 1 of 1000 at ToysRus last week. So after searching 11 stores (3 ToysRus, 4 Targets and 4 Walmarts) with no luck, I decided to call it a day. On the way home I decided to stop at the one Walmart closest to me that I didn't check because I stopped there a few days ago and sure enough I found Flex Force series 1 Cena, Mysterio and HBK as wel as Entrance Greats Series 1 Triple H and Rey Mysterio. I was so happy to find these after searching all day. I had no intent on buying Flex Force but after seeing them, they are pretty cool with great detail and remind me of the action moves the Hasbro figures used to have like the powerslam and swinging clothesline so I grabbed the few they had.
Also a little info on the Entrance Greats Series 1. The manager of the Toy department at my local Walmart said that the case they got had 3 Triple H and 3 Mysterios and no HBK. Then after seeing the back of the box, HBK is not included in the series picture and not included in the set. I assume HBK was pushed back to Series 2 and that Mattel decided to only put out 2 superstars per set for the Entrance Greats due to all the detail and cost. It will be interesting to see if Ringside actually fills the HBK orders once they are up for sale or if HBK is just not in the first shipments. Here is the back of the box series info:
