I read all the findings and how people got these early. I've been hunting since the first reportings. Went to Walmart this morning and saw a bunch of boxes on skids all labeled Hasbro except one Mattel. The Mattel box was labeled Flex Force series 1. I got so excited I didn't know what to do. Will they open it, will they allow me to buy? I wanted that Rey Mysterio so bad, I cracked open the case with my car keys myself. It rung up at the register and I bought it. Can we get in trouble for cracking open a case our self if its on the skids?

It's Wal-Mart's fault at the end of the day. The case is marked and shouldn't be put out until the 1-1-10, so they really should not have put it anywhere near the shelf. As for opening the box itself, I don't think it matters. I mean, the stuff is going to go on the shelf anyway, right?

lol..its funny this came up because i found a case of heritage on a skid at walmart i opened it myself to see if there were any 1/1000's there was not..but a worker came over and told me i couldn't open the box walmart policy states customers are not allowed to touch product until it reaches the pegs..but he did say if i got a worker to come over and open it..it was OK..now Ive opened sealed boxes in all stores before and have not had a issue till now but there it is..i didn't get any heritage figures im really only interested in the elite which i cant find at all..

I work for wal*mart and no it wouldn't be a problem to do that, as long as you don't leave a mess or cause any damage to the store.

You really want those figs! I don't know if I would do it but if I found a 1/1000 it sure would have been worth doing it. .

Go for it! If they're out, then they're fair game. Usually, when they have pallets out at my Wal Mart, then have the whole thing wrapped with clear plastic wrapping.
