Just got back from the first WWE event I've ever been too, the RAW House Show in Manchester, NH. Show was great, though there was one match that ended with what definitely seemed like a real injury. Decided I'd be safe and post this in the spoilers section, since it will a significant impact on what happens on RAW next week if it does end up being a major injury.
During the 6 Diva Tag Match (Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim and Melina vs Maryse, Katie Burchill and Alicia Fox), the match was nearing its end, with Burchill and Kim in the ring. Kim had been on the losing side of the fight for awhile, when she finally got the upper hand and tagged in Melina, which was the first time Melina was tagged into the match. Melina immediately rushed Burchill, hit her with a strong attack, and then immediately dropped to the ground. Burchill immediately went for the pin after that and got the 3 count, despite the fact that Melina had barely been in the match, and the Ref seemed to rush over to Melina before Burchill was even close to Melina to cover for the pin. Main reason I definitely think that this was a real injury was because after the match was over, Melina's music started to play for about 2 seconds, before it suddenly cut off, and a different music track started soon after (can't remember if it was Maryse's or Burchills), leading me to believe a different ending had been planned. After the match, Melina continued laying in the ring for a couple of minutes before Gail and Kelly helped her out of the ring.
So yeah, maybe it was kayfabe or if there was an injury it will only be minor, but if Melina does end up dropping the Diva's Championship next Monday, this is likely the reason why.
