i was deeply sad to find out we lost wrestling legend dr death steve williams...however what made me angry was one 20 year old board member posting in the thred that it was a stupid thred... i understand if doc was not everyones cup of tea or that some folks are to young to recall how awesome 80s wrestling really was with nwa wwf wccw and awa all slugging it out... Doc was a cool wrestler a raw boned power house and his run in the nwa was one of my favorite times... here is doc and the varcity club..ratunda is id say more custom sullivan and doc maybe more of a fix up... but here they are, enjoy and god bless you dr death, thanks for a life time of g8 memories may you and terry gordy kick butt in gods arena now

Noe that looks like the Dr Death I always seen or at least remembered. I really never saw much of his work, only his stint in WWF and a bit of UWF. I remembered him most in that attire and that build. It looks alot better than that.

That's a really sharp looking fix up. I can't believe Jakks didn't use that torso; it was perfect for him. It's a good tribute.

Opps, My apologies if my comment might have come out the wrong way. ( damn allergies have gotten to me )I didnt mean for it to come out that, instead of saying " It looks alot better than that. " I meant to say "it looks alot better like that than his original CS figure" I like yours best because that's how i remember him. In pulled up trunks, the singlet and the shirt and red shorts.

Nice custom of Dr. Death. All anyone has to do is catch some youtube clips of Dr. Death's Mid South/UWF run in the mid -late 80's to see just how much of a bad a$$ he was. Ditto his tag team dominance in Japan with Terry Gordy as the Miracle Violence Combination.
RIP, Doc. MSF

Doc is my ALL TIME favorite wrestler. I agree, his runs in the NWA/ WCW were great. Remember Wargames 89, when he pressed TERRY FREAKIN' GORDY (all 300 lbs of him) ten times over his head before slamming him?! One of my all time favorite memories. He later teamed with Gordy to form the best tag team of all, the Miracle Violence Combination. His UWF/ Mid South stuff was awesome, especially teaming with Ted Dibiase. And his All Japan run, either tags or as a Triple Crown champion, was off the hook.
If all you know about Steve Williams is his WWF run, shame. He was one of the best and I am saddened to hear of his passing.
BOOMER SOONER!!!

No prob Warheart, i didnt take it in a bad way...i wasnt sure what ya ment now i do..either way its all good man Love machine, man you dipping into my thoughts exactly:) watching him press gordy into the roof of the cage a number of times then slamming him was one of my many favorite Doc Moments.. back in the early 90s i had not realized he a gordy were teaming in japan..i saw them teaming in wcw and thought wow there gonna be trouble...and then to become the wcw nwa world tag team champions was awesome... would of loved to see them exsplode on to the monday nitro scean when nitro was begining to get hot in 95ish... as with the other legends in my fed who have passed on, Doc will live on in matches and story lines as long as i have a collection... thanks all for the nice feed back and again god bless the Doc, as one other person said of hs passing and i think its very cool... " there is a oaklahoma stampede in heaven" god bless and thanks for the memories Doc

You spelled Varsity wrong on Rotunda's singlet. You might want to fix that.

Great fix-up. That's how Williams should have looked in the first place. May I ask what figure you used to fix-up the Sullivan. I might want to try that out myself.

+1 to you for your custom, kind words and sentiments about one of the best grapplers I've seen in Japan and the US.
Cheers
