WWE Tuesday Night ECW on January 5th, 2010 in Louisville, KY
A promo hypes the ECW Homecoming last week with Evan Bourne picking up a shocker, winning the Battle Royal and becoming #1 Contender for the ECW Championship.
Josh Matthews and Bryon Saxton welcome us to ECW after our pyrotechnics display. They are cut off by our #1 Contender.
"Bourne to Win" hits and Evan Bourne comes out, sporting his new t-shirt. He slides under the bottom rope and waits for the massive pop to stop before he begins. Evan Bourne says that as a former member of ECW, he knows what it's going to take to become the champion. And he's going to do it, so these fans don't have to sit here and listen to "golden retriever" Shelton Benjamin, bark his mouth week in, week out. The fans cheer at the joke. Bourne says that he promises that in 26 days, when the Royal Rumble comes, he's going to kick Benjamin's teeth in. Shelton Benjamin comes to the ring saying that Bourne is real funny, and another thing that'll sound real funny is Bourne's apology the day after when he sees that he's failed at his vow. Bourne says that he doesn't have a problem kicking Benjamin's teeth in right here right now. Abraham Washington makes his way out saying that he's calling the shots on ECW now. Therefore tonight, Evan Bourne will be facing a test tonight on ECW. Shelton Benjamin has the night to pick Evan Bourne's opponent, and next week, vise versa. The fans give a small pop at the idea, as we head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match Christian def. Zack Ryder Great start to ECW tonight. Christian seemed a bit frustrated at losing the ECW Homecoming but still, he still showed what he had. Ryder, who's been riding high (no pun intended) and he did great. Ryder worked over Christian's knee which would hurt the finisher. In the end, after eight minutes of battling, Ryder went for a Ruff Ryder, only to be thrown back up into a flapjack. Christian then hit the Killswitch to score the victory.
Christian seemed a little bit happier here tonight as he searched for his peeps. He busted a grin out to see Ryder's tantrum at his loss. We head backstage.
Ashley Valance is back with ECW Champion Shelton Benjamin. Valance asks Benjamin who does he have in mind for Bourne. Benjamin says that he's got a few in mind, and they've been advised to destroy Bourne tonight, and we'll find out who Bourne will be demolished by, sooner than later. Benjamin sports a sadistic grin as he walks off, we see a graphic hyping the Bourne/?? main event tonight.
---Commercial Break---
Tag Team Match Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov w/William Regal def. The Hurricane and Goldust Decent showing here by all four competitors. Anyways, this match started off back and forth but later on a while, they worked over Hurricane who eventually made a tag after hitting a spinning elbow lariat on Jackson. Goldust came in firing on all cylinders. But a blind tag to Kozlov allowed him to hit the Iron Curtain to win.
Kozlov and Jackson celebrated their victory tonight, hitting their finishers on Hurricane. Goldust elbowed out and slapped Jackson before being double teamed by Jackson and Kozlov. They headed backstage before we head to the final commercial before our main event.
---Commercial Break---
A promo hypes the WWE Royal Rumble 2010 on January 31st, 2010.
Pick Your Poison Match Evan Bourne def. Vance Archer It seemed as if Benjamin had picked the most dominant ECW star today. Vance Archer nearly killed Bourne with a triple powerbomb and some big boots. Bourne got sick of getting his ass kicked and hit a springboard turnaround splash on the apron to the outside! Evan Bourne rolled him in and got suplexed to the outside. Archer threw Bourne into the steel steps and barricade as Benjamin looked on very proud of his pick. Archer went for his finisher but Bourne slipped off and hit a double knee kick and then a running hurricanrana and a top rope knee drop. Bourne went for a leg lariat but Archer hit a big spinebuster. Archer hit a falling powerslam for the two. Archer went for a suplex but Bourne hit a neckbreaker. Bourne then went for a heel kick off the top rope, Benjamin and Archer both charged at him as he jumped past Archer, Benjamin and Archer cracked skulls. Bourne hit a swinging heel kick and then hit Air Bourne to win.
Evan Bourne celebrated, taunting the ECW Champion Shelton Benjamin as ECW went off air.

Friday Night SmackDown Louisville, KY January 8th, 2010
A video hypes what happened last week on SmackDown. It shows the Beat the Clock Sprint, won by CM Punk who will challenge Undertaker at Royal Rumble for the WHC.
Todd Grisham and Jim Ross welcomed us to Friday Night SmackDown. They hype the R-Truth/Batista match hyped for tonight.
CM Punk makes his way out to the ring, leading Brett DiBiase, Luke Gallows, and Serena. CM Punk takes a microphone and begins to speak. Punk says that last week, three of the top superstars on the brand tried to beat his time but they all failed, just everyone who has stepped in the ring with CM Punk has once before. He goes on to say that he does not settle for being one of the best, he is the absolute best and he put that on notice for everyone last week. Rey Mysterio makes his way out a major pop from the crowd. Mysterio says that Punk has no right to call himself the greatest considering he screwed Mysterio out of his win last week. Punk says that we all knew Mysterio would have lost anyways and he should swing back to where he came from before he gets knocked out. Mysterio says that if Punk's too sure, he could sure swing through the ropes and give Punk a 6-1-9! The crowd likes the idea of that before Teddy Long makes his way to the stage announcing that Punk did indeed screw Mysterio last week, so tonight, Mysterio can take some revenge because in tonight's main event, World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker teams with Rey Mysterio to take on Straight Edge Society. As for Serena, she'll he in divas action tonight. Punk is angry at the match as Mysterio is content, we head to commercial break.
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match John Morrison def. Mike Knox Morrison took alot of punishment in this match. From the go, he fired the bigger, Knox with some hard rights before trying to pull him but got pulled into the flying bear crossbody for the two. Knox put Morrison between the ropes and beat on him, also hitting a swinging side slam, powerbomb, sidewalk slam, and three back-to-back hard clotheslines. Knox set up for Knox Out but Morrison had him scouted and hit a reverse DDT and then he hit a Starship Pain for the victory.
John Morrison celebrated his victory, grasping at his ribs. Morrison takes a microphone and says that he's got some bad blood with "The Animal" Batista and he wants to settle this before Royal Rumble, next week, he challenges Batista to a Street Fight next week on SmackDown. And he wants his answer tonight.
---Commercial Break---
We see a video package of last week when Batista attacked R-Truth; thus leaving us to this match. R-Truth is on interview. Valance asks Truth does he have plans of revenge tonight. Truth says that he does. Batista cost him a week of action and since he did so, Truth is going to do the same tonight. And tonight, he may be the underdog but he's been there before. He says he fought for everything he had, and tonight, is another chapter in that story. Truth walks off to some great pop for his great promo as we head to the arena.
Singles Match Matt Hardy def. Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre (Non Title) Solid, lengthy matchup here tonight as we seen a side of Matt Hardy tonight. A good side, but a more determined side. McIntyre beat him as he came off the top rope, still on his entrance. Matt Hardy surprisingly battled back with some hard lefts and rights before McIntyre got a knee to the gut and a double underhook powerbomb. McIntyre got in some rest holds, suplex, and a spinning elbow off the top. McIntyre went for a high knee but Hardy dodged away and hit a body drop, hip toss, and a neckbreaker. Hardy hit an elbow to the back of the head, and then a Side Effect. Hardy lifted McIntyre who raked him in the eye and nailed Future Shock. McIntyre confidently got the cover but Hardy got his foot on the ropes at 2.999. McIntyre argued with the referee and then went back to work, Hardy slid behind him and got a roll-up for the victory!
Matt Hardy celebrated his victory over the Intercontinental Champion on the ramp, getting a huge win as we head to the final commercial break before our Batista/Truth match.
A promo hypes the WWE Royal Rumble 2010 on January 31st, 2010.
Backstage, we see Ashley Valance asking Batista does he accept John Morrison's challenge. Batista accepts the match, and says he'll show Morrison why he shouldn't have requested it. Because tonight, he's putting R-Truth out again, and then, Morrison will be on the shelf next.
Singles Match Batista def. R-Truth A pretty decent matchup here to kick off the first-hour main event, Batista taunted at ringside and Truth dove over, taking him out with a suicide dive and bringing him back in to two top rope leg drops. Truth went for a dropkick but Batista sidestepped and booted Truth in the face and then hit a running powerslam. He taunted and brought Truth to his feet, met by some hard punches as Truth regained momentum and then hit a DDT. Truth seemed really to end this thing via Lie Detector but Batista would eventually hit a spinebuster out of nowhere and then a Batista Bomb to seal the victory.
Batista celebrates another victory, displaying his dominance once again. He taunts as he stares down John Morrison on the ramp, laughing. The graphic hypes their match for next week as we head to a commercial.
---Commercial Break---
Backstage, Todd Grisham asks Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre what's on his mind following his loss to Matt Hardy. McIntyre says that it was a fluke. And he's so sure it was, he'll face him next week, putting his title on the line. The crowd is in shock and in happiness at the remark, and now, we head to the ring.
We see a video of earlier tonight, Teddy Long announcing the Mysterio & Undertaker/SES main event, and also announcing that Serena would make her debut tonight, but against who?
Singles Match Serena def. Mickie James Huge debut for the Straight Edge Society manager here tonight. She obviously had butterflies in her stomach tonight, but with no one out here to manage her, she took that as motivation. But anyways, this match went back and forth, Lay-Cool came down and Mickie attacked them, but came back in and fell victim to the Mancini Code for the win.
Serena jumped around and then speeded up the ramp in celebration. Lay-Cool proceeded to attack them before Beth Phoenix came down to make the save. SES is shown celebrating the win for Serena as she doesn't seem to care, she's too happy about her win.
---Commercial Break---
Hart Dynasty make their way down to the ring, Kidd in his in-ring gear, and Smith casually. Natalya sported her typical attire. Smith took a microphone and began to speak on how next week's SmackDown is supposed to be big. John Morrison/Batista, Hardy/McIntyre, and D-Generation-X is supposed to confront Hart Dynasty. They announce that it will be tonight, and since they are too afraid to come over where the big dogs bark over on SmackDown, they'll just address what they need to say. Kidd takes on and says that while SmackDown, RAW, and ECW may be getting exciting, the most exciting thing to happen this month is going to be the look on the fans of Atlanta, Georgia when they realize their heros, D-Generation-X have lost their Unified Tag Team Championships. And while one member of DX, Triple H's father in law, Vince McMahon may be embroiled in a feud with their uncle, Bret Hart, Bret Hart will always come out on top because that's the way the Hart family does it. And on RAW, Bret will take revenge, and furthermore, since they put his uncle through hell, he'll be glad to put them out of business. And tonight, they get the first degree of that guarantee.
Singles Match Tyson Kidd def. Finlay Decent match to hype the feud and get the Hart Dynasty a bit over as their push this year has been somewhat solid. None the less, this match was controlled mainly by Kidd, Finlay's experience factor came into play and he took it to Kidd a bit too. After more than five minutes of action, Kidd put Finlay away with a Springboard Dropkick.
Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith headed up the ramp, alongside Natalya celebrating and taunting their victory.
Backstage, we see Rey Mysterio slipping on his gloves, as he's in the main event, live next on Friday Night SmackDown!
---Commercial Break---
A promo video hypes Bret Hart's return this past Monday, ending in McMahon drilling Hart with brass knuckles and escaping in a limo, with Hart Dynasty close on chase. The hellacious feud continues this week on RAW.
Handicap Tag Team Match World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio def. Straight Edge Society (CM Punk, Luke Gallows, and Brett DiBiase) Good main event here, edging around possibly nine 13 minutes, none the less, a good close. Serena was banned from ringside via orders of Teddy Long which gave the distraction and let Mysterio tag in Undertaker as he delivered a hurricanrana to DiBiase and Undertaker gave DiBiase a Chokeslam, broken up by Punk who made a blind tag. Mysterio came in and gave Punk a springboard dropkick, knocking him into Undertaker who gave him a Last Ride as DiBiase clotheslined Mysterio over the top, Undertaker got the cover, and the victory.
Undertaker stood in the ring, victorious holding the World Heavyweight Championship tall in the ring, Punk, Gallows, and DiBiase were angered as Mysterio was at ringside smiling. The screen faded to black.

Monday Night RAW on January 11th, 2010 in Minneapolis, Min
A recap video hypes last week involving Bret Hart's return since 1997. It shows the Screwjob and on to McMahon and Hart almost making peace before McMahon nailed him with brass knuckles and the high pursuit chase before McMahon escaped in a limo closing last week's show.
Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome us to Monday Night RAW, just 3 weeks until Royal Rumble. They hype tonight's show featuring a confrontation between Mr. McMahon and Bret Hart once again.
"Return of the Hitman" hits and Bret Hart comes to the ring in casual attire, all by himself as he takes a microphone and waits to the massive pop to stop, looking grateful for it, he begins. Hart says that it never fails and if the fans remember him saying, McMahon could never be a man, simply because he can throw away a burden from 13 years ago. Hart says that he tried to make this rivalry end and they'd become friends, but McMahon simply wants to have fun with this and now it's his turn. Hart says that he didn't expect McMahon to have the guts to do so, but he hope he has the guts to come out to this ring right now. A slight pause occurs before he says that he may just have to come back stage, grab McMahon by the throat, and bring him to this ring. He goes under one rope before "No Chance in Hell" hits and Vince McMahon makes his way out to the ring behind, in front of, and on side of a pack of security guards. Vince McMahon says he's here and he wants to know what Bret wants. Bret asks McMahon is he really asking this question. Bret says that if wants to hide behind the security guards and all the money he has, then there should be one more place he hides and that's in a hospital bed for the rest of his life for what he did. Vince McMahon says that Bret deserved to be screwed and he was waiting for the perfect opportunity did. He says that Owen did, Bret did, and all the Harts did. Bret Hart tackles the security guards down and hammers away at Vince McMahon to a rousing ovation here. The security guards break him up. We go to commercial with Bret still trying to get around, and Vince nursing his eye.
---Commercial Break---
A promo video shows what just went down in a major promo between Bret Hart and Vince McMahon in how the feud seems to keep on advancing. We head to an interview with Shawn Michaels.
Josh Matthews asks Michaels how he feels about being a major part of this feud. Michaels says that 13 years have passed, and though it still goes through his head, he doesn't care about it that much anymore. It's 2010. And he challenges to have a confrontation with Bret to bury the hatchet, because he has other things to worry about.
Singles Grudge Rematch Sheamus def. Kofi Kingston This match was a rematch from last week and it wasn't as good. Maybe because Kofi Kingston had taped ribs and Sheamus exploited them the whole way through. First a kick to the ribs and then some shoulder thrusts. Sheamus then got Kofi on his shoulders in High Cross position and slammed him down on his gut, much like a Dominator. Kofi did managed to hit a Trouble in Paradise, but his injured ribs wouldn't allow a move for it. He hit another but still, it effected him. He got up and went for the Boom Drop but Sheamus moved away and hit a huge kick to the face, and then a High Cross to win.
Sheamus beats his chest in another display of his dominance. Kofi Kingston is laid out as Sheamus grins up the ramp. We head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
Mike Tyson makes his way out to the ring, saying that it feels good to get in a ring regardless of if it's in a boxing ring, or a wrestling ring. He says that while Bret Hart and Vince McMahon are going at it, there's some good to tonight. We have the "greatest power hitter" in boxing entertainment here tonight. He's cut off by Big Show who gets some major heat. Big Show says that he thanks Mike Tyson for giving him that huge and "true" introduction. Show offers a high-five. Tyson says that he'll give Show a high five to the face. And since Show rudely interuptted him, he's going to get the chance to show he can brawl, right now on RAW and he'll be the Special Guest Referee for that match as well. "My Time is Now" hits and the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship John Cena comes out, pumped and ready to fight. The announces hype Cena/Show next live on RAW!
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match w/Special Guest Referee Mike Tyson John Cena def. Big Show Many expected a boring match but these two pulled a solid ten minute battle out of the bag tonight. John Cena came right out blasting away with hard lefts and rights to the face before Show pushed him away. Cena get back at it and took a headbutt. Show whipped Cena off the ropes and hit a sidewalk slam and then a big clothesline. Show grabbed Cena by the throat but Cena hit a DDT. Cena hopped to the second the second rope and hit a leg drop. This was a problem he faced earlier in 2009, attempting to lock in an STF-U, hooking Show's legs on the ropes. Show almost tapped but managed to shake his leg then used his strength to get Cena on his shoulders for a powerbomb! Show went for a cover but Tyson was too busy waving at the fans. Show turned him around and argued with him. Tyson drilled Show in the jaw with one of his famous hooks, not putting him down, but staggering him really. Cena turned him into an Attitude Adjustment to score the victory.
John Cena is going crazy with his win. Boxing and wrestling's top icons stand in the ring, with the crowd going crazy as they stand on the top rope. Randy Orton makes his way into the ring unnoticed and nails Cena with an RKO. Orton and Tyson stare down in the middle of the ring. Tyson says that he hasn't forgotten about him. he'll be in a match tonight too, him and Cody Rhodes. They'll be in the ring with D-Generation-X tonight! Randy Orton is furious at that but the fans are pretty cool with it, we head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
A promo hypes the WWE Royal Rumble 2010 on January 31st, 2010.
We see a Smack of the Week showing Matt Hardy beat Drew McIntyre and then in an interview of McIntyre's obsession with beating Drew McIntyre, hyping an Intercontinental Championship Match between Matt Hardy and Drew McIntyre.
We come back with the RAW announces hyping how both shows are skyrocking in ratings, this should be one of the biggest SmackDowns in recent memory, as Batista faces John Morrison in a Street Fight and Drew McIntyre/Matt Hardy for the Intercontinental Championship.
Tag Team Match Montel Vontavious Porter and Evan Bourne def. United States Champion The Miz and Mark Henry MVP made his return here tonight on Monday Night RAW, and since these two put him out on the final RAW of 2009, you knew payback was coming. This match lasted around seven minutes and he was in for about five as Bourne was his support and he knew MVP wanted the two of them. MVP wanted Henry a bit more as Henry betrayed him, in the end, Bourne splashed to the outside on Miz and MVP had Henry down after a big boot and then a Playmaker, thus giving Montel the pinfall victory alongside Evan Bourne in his return match, on Monday Night RAW!
MVP and Evan Bourne celebrated and taunted with their fans tonight, The Miz and Mark Henry were angry on the outside with The Miz mouthing off for about 20 seconds non-stop. We head to another commercial.
---Commercial Break---
Four Man Royal Rumble Preview Match Jack Swagger def. Carlito, Chavo Guerrero, and Chris Masters A decent preview of the Royal Rumble as well as RAW's mid-card and upper-mid card top talent. None the less, this match was good from the start. Santino came down the ramp and came into the ring, no one knowing what to do, they all clotheslined him back out, and while they did so, Swagger flipped Guerrero over too. Masters and Carlito, a former team, worked on Swagger and then battled, Swagger eventually came behind, and eliminated them by himself to win the match.
Jack Swagger celebrated his victory. Santino Marella comes from behind and flips Swagger over, he gets on his knees, almost to tears and looks up yelling, thank you! As if he's won the real Royal Rumble. We see a preview hyping our main event, live on RAW, next!
---Commercial Break---
Tag Team Main Event D-Generation-X def. WWE Champion Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes A pretty decent main event here, a feud that was extremely built over the course of 2009, they worked over Shawn Michaels for about two or three minutes, working over the arm before he ducked Orton's clothesline and hit a flying forearm smash and then tagging HHH in who cleaned house, taking Orton out for the moment and then clotheslining Rhodes over. Orton stalked HHH but Michaels turned him around and nailed a Sweet Chin Music, Orton turned right into a Pedigree and covered him to get the three count, and the win.
Triple H and Shawn Michaels celebrated. Rhodes and DiBiase attacked Triple H and Orton gave Michaels an RKO. Cena came down and gave Rhodes and DiBiase both F-U and turned right into an RKO. Randy Orton stood tall to end Monday Night RAW!

A promo hypes the ECW Homecoming last week with Shelton Benjamin picking Evan Bourne's opponent, Vance Archer with Bourne winning the main event in the end.
Shelton Benjamin makes his way out to the ring before the announcers can promote tonight's show. Benjamin says that last week, many think that the loss Vance Archer may have affected him. But the truth is, Bourne cannot beat Benjamin. Benjamin says that he's the new "Heart and Soul of ECW" and he is the biggest thing going right now, so whoever Bourne picks is going to be sorry they ever stepped in the ring with Benjamin. Evan Bourne says that tonight, Shelton Benjamin will be in some trouble because he's facing the man he beat for the title for his title, Christian. Shelton Benjamin is furious, kicking the ropes as tonight, the ECW Championship is on the line, live on ECW.
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match Zack Ryder def. Yoshi Tatsu A pretty solid matchup to kick off ECW. This was an action-packed six minutes and the crowd was all into the dropkicks, crossbodies, neckbreakers, suplex facebusters, and signature moves. Tatsu set up for his Roundhouse Kick, Ryder swept his legs and catapulted him before rolling him up, the referee didn't notice Tatsu's arm on the ropes but Ryder got the win.
Ryder celebrated his victory as he gloated in the ring, Tatsu explained to the referee as he looked on. Tatsu turned around to see Ryder and he nailed him with a hard Roundhouse Kick for his troubles, he taunted over Ryder to a great ovation from the crowd as we head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
A promo hypes the WWE Royal Rumble 2010 on January 31st, 2010.
Bryon Saxton and Josh Matthews promote the card for Royal Rumble, coming up in 19 days. We head backstage to see Vance Archer.
Todd Grisham asks Vance Archer how he feels about his loss to Evan Bourne last week, Archer says that he demands a rematch and challenges Bourne to a rematch next week. And he'll find his answer sooner than later.
Singles Match Goldust w/The Hurricane def. Vladimir Kozlov w/Ezekiel Jackson and William Regal A pretty decent matchup here as "Bizzarre One" Goldust battled the member of Ruthless Roundtable, Vladimir Kozlov. In a decent timed, battle, the win came when Goldust hit Vladimir Kozlov off the top rope and a picture-perfect elbow drop to secure the victory here tonight. A graphic shows us that coming up next, we have our main event for the ECW Championship. ---Commercial Break--- ECW Championship Match Shelton Benjamin (c) def. Christian via countout Great main event here tonight on ECW. The time was pretty much saved for this 12 minute rematch. The two exchanged arm drags before Christian hit his signature pendulum kick and then a spinning elbow lariat. Christian set up for his reverse DDT but Benjamin jumped and nailed a huge Cutter and then hit a missile dropkick. The classic match continued, Benjamin got a roll-up with his feet on the ropes, Evan Bourne pushed them off, Vance Archer drilled Evan Bourne with a steel chair on the outside as Christian nailed Benjamin with a Killswitch. The referee was too distracted and Christian was pissed as he could have became champion once again. He came out and brawled with Vance Archer, Vance scooped him up and tried to drive him into the ringpost but Christian pushed him into the ringpost. Christian clotheslined Archer and himself over the barricade. He stirred and got back to the other side but rolled in after 10! Christian sat in the corner of the ring, pissed as he's just lost his rematch clause, he turned his attention to Vance Archer as he nails him with the steel steps and then hit a DDT on them. Christian stood on the steel steps on the outside with a sadistic grin on his face, the crowd giving a massive pop, Archer laid out, Bourne just stirring, and Benjamin standing atop the ramp, looking on angry as ECW goes off air.

WWE RAW: Monday 4th January 2010...Bit of a weak opening promo to introduce RAW tonight, The Miz in the ring basically just to promote himself. Bret Hart's interruption: I feel that as his debut he should have either been involved in being introduced formally for his debut or to be saved for the confrontation with Vince McMahon later in the show. This was a little unneeded. Miz beating Evan Bourne is a good opening contest, with the WWE United States Championship on the line. Shane McMahon threatening Bret was a nice touch. There is so many things you can play with involving Bret's thirteen years of built rage with McMahon. Maryse winning the battle royal was fine, just to basically prepare us for the match with Melina. Just hoping the WWE Divas Championship doesn't take place at Royal Rumble as it will be tread on by the pay-per-view audience. And again, Bret shouldn't be making countless appearances. I get that he's the General Manager for the night, but he should be more involved with nostalgia: he hasn't been seen since being screwed thirteen years ago. He should address the Montreal Screwjob more. I don't see too much need for a no disqualification match between Sheamus and Kofi Kingston anyway, but I dislike Kingston swiping Sheamus of his undefeated streak. Chris Masters making the save for Kofi seemed extremely anticlimatic to say the least. John Cena and DX beating The Legacy was a smashing main event, did everything it was supposed to do. Bret Hart's promo was nice, with McMahon pounding Hart with brass knuckles; original, I admit. Not too sure why Jack Swagger was here though. Really do dislike how The Hart Dynasty got involved with this though, I feel that they need to get over by themselves. Their involvement with Hart and McMahon at WrestleMania XXVI only supplied them with a little bit more overness. They need to get over by themselves, not on being Bret's grandchildren. Overall, a decent show but plenty of things I'd have done differently. You did execute some things nicely, though.
ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 5th January 2010...Evan Bourne kicking off the show is alright I suppose, but he isn't the most charismatic man on the front. Do suppose it was appropriate though, being he is facing Shelton Benjamin for the ECW Championship at the Royal Rumble. Abraham Washington running things on ECW was random. Wonder where Tiffany went. I dislike this decision, he was better off doing The Abraham Washington Show. Christian beating Zack Ryder is appropriate, nice opening contest. Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov beating The Hurricane and Goldust is absolutely fine, just advancing the Ruthless Roundtable. This faction would be great as WWE Unified Tag Team Champions down the line somewhere. Evan Bourne beating Vance Archer is a good main event, just to set up Bourne and Shelton Benjamin's Pick Your Poison series. A good show, in my mind.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 8th January 2010...CM Punk's promo was good, but unsure of Brett Dibiase being in the Straight Edge Society with Luke Gallows and Serena. Nice promo just to basically focus on Rey Mysterio. John Morrison beating Mike Knox is fine, Knox and Morrison could have a hell of a year in 2010 if given the opportunity. Matt Hardy beating Drew McIntyre in non-title action was a surprise, but I do hope that these two don't have as intense a feud as they did in real life: it was so dire. Batista and R-Truth would have had a good back and forth battle, Batista with the win was obviously for the better. Not sure why Morrison wants a match with Batista, though. Serena beating Mickie James was alright, would have preferred a member of Laycool to be in action instead, though. Hart Dynasty's promo would have been mediocre, really. Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith and Natalya are all dire on the microphone. But I do like them getting air-time, a chance to put themselves over. I sort of do like how Hart Dynasty support Bret Hart obviously, but misinterpret DX for being associated with Vince McMahon's doings. It's quite an intellegent storyline, really. The storyline is twisted so that DX are faces and Hart Dynasty believed they are associated with heel Vince McMahon. However, I feel DX should easily beat the Dynasty at the Royal Rumble. Tyson Kidd beating Finlay was expected, didn't take too much though. Will take a lot more on January 31st. Lastly, a good back and forth tag team main event with The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio overcoming the trio of Straight Edge Society. A solid show to say the least. Best booked of the week.

WWE Tuesday Night ECW January 19th, 2010 Greensville, S.C. Josh Matthews and Bryon Saxton welcome us to ECW, live from South Carolina. They hype how in last week's classic bout, Christian was screwed of the ECW Championship. But tonight, Benjamin and Bourne have their contract signing. ECW's theme song hits and Tiffany makes her way out and apologizes for not making the last edition of ECW which seemed fairly good. She says that now to address last week, Christian was indeed screwed and she believes he should have revenge, which is why in tonight's main event match, following the contract signing, Christian will take on Vance Archer. The crowd pops before it turns to boos as William Regal comes out, leading the big duo of Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov. Regal says that Tiffany has been making these same matches week-in-week-out and he wants his shot. Tiffany says that she's in a generous mood tonight, so she'll give Regal his shot, right now on ECW against none other than the man that has beaten him a couple times, Yoshi Tatsu. ---Commercial Break--- Singles Match William Regal w/Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov def. Yoshi Tatsu A good start to ECW here with these two battling a back-and-forth contest. Tatsu eventually won here, catching Regal off guard with his new extended moveset, double underhook backbreaker, german suplex into a pin, and a springboard splash. He went back to his signature, the spinning kick off the top but Jackson and Kozlov distracted him, allowing Regal to hop up and nail a scoop exploder off the top rope and pick up the victory. William Regal had his hand raised signalling he won the victory, but he did not seem satisfied. Jackson and Kozlov assisted him in attacking Tatsu but eventually, Hurricane and Goldust made their way out to the ring to make the save, clotheslining Regal and Kozlov out, allowing Tatsu to nail the Roundhouse Kick to Jackson as they retreated up the ramp. Tatsu, Goldust, and Hurricane stand tall in the ring as we head back to interview. Ashley Valance asks ECW Champion Shelton Benjamin does he plan on getting physical with Evan Bourne tonight. Benjamin says that they get physical at Royal Rumble. Tonight is just verbally and word assault. But if he needs to get dirty, he will. Benjamin walks off confidently. ---Commercial Break--- A promo hypes the WWE Royal Rumble 2010 on January 31st, 2010. We come back to see a rundown of the card for Royal Rumble as the event takes place in twelve days. We come to see a promo of last week with Vance Archer costing Christian of regaining his ECW Championship back. Leading us to tonight's matchup. Singles Grudge Match Christian def. Vance Archer A very competitive matchup here. Archer showed that he could hang tough with the big stars as he stood with Christian for about eight minutes. And if he keeps this up, he'll be champion someday. Archer even hit his finishing move on Christian but he somehow got a foot to the ropes. He went for it again but Christian rolled him up for a close two before running into a pendullum kick and then a spinning elbow lariat followed by a Killswitch to award him the victory. Christian still didn't seem satisfied and should a more brute side of him, hitting another Killswitch with an unusual grin on his face before looking out to his peeps like his old self. We head backstage, we see Evan Bourne and Shelton Benjamin both backstage on split screen. They have their contract signing/confrontation next on ECW. ---Commercial Break--- First out, was Evan Bourne who is the challenger for the ECW Championship at Royal Rumble. He was greeted by Tiffany before taking his spot at the table. Shelton Benjamin made his way out as well, seeming a bit more confident than usual. Shelton Benjamin goes to the table and holds the ECW Title high, Bourne stands up. Benjamin reminds him of what he said earlier that he hadn't planned to go hands-on tonight, but if he needs to, he will. Bourne says that it's the same here, but he recommends that Benjamin save his strength when he's trying to pull himself up, realizing he's lost the ECW Championship. Shelton Benjamin says that he will beat Bourne without breaking a sweat. Bourne replies by saying that none of this will be easy, he can guarantee that. He also says that he respects Benjamin. Benjamin says that everyone does, he's full of surprises and he can strike at anytime. Bourne says that he knows Benjamin is a top-notch competitor and arguably the most underrated as well as athletic in the WWE. But the fans will put Bourne on that list too. Benjamin laughs and Bourne says that he's also full of surprises. He leaps over the table and goes right at Benjamin with fists before putting him on the contract table and nailing an Air Bourne through it. Bourne intensely signs the contract and stands tall over Benjamin holding the ECW Championship with the crowd going wild, as ECW goes off air.

-Good way to open up the show with Tiffany. Christian vs Archer should be good. -Regal going over Tatsu is a great call. The faces standing tall is good. -Christian going over Archer is nice. -Bourne standing over the ECW Champ to end the show is nice. Their match should be great. Overall, short ECW, but great.

WWE Superstars -R-Truth def. Brett DiBiase -Natalya and Serena w/Serena def. Maria and Kelly Kelly
Friday Night SmackDown Greensville, SC January 22nd, 2010
A video hypes what happened last week on SmackDown. It shows the huge Street Fight between John Morrison and Batista, won by Morrison when Truth regained revenge on Batista.
Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to SmackDown following the major pyrotechnics. They hype how Royal Rumble is in a mere nine days and tonight's main event is John Morrison taking on CM Punk. And, for the first time ever, The Undertaker is challenged by Dolph Ziggler.
"I Walk Alone" hits as Batista makes his way out, the black lights, and the spotlight directly on him. Batista says that he must have a curse because he has a knack for being screwed. He's been screwed of the World Heavyweight Championship countless times, and R-Truth still wants to interfere in others business. He says that Truth must not have known that you can interfere in anyone's business, as long as that man isn't "The Animal" Batista. And because he wanted to do so, he will pay the price. He calls out John Morrison and R-Truth but instead, he gets Teddy Long. Long says that Morrison is in a match tonight and Truth competed on Superstars, but if he wants action so bad, he can get it now.
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match Rey Mysterio def. Batista via disqualification A good matchup to kick off SmackDown between two longtime rivals. "The Animal" seemed not focused on winning, but making a statement, and did so. The teams battled for about ten minutes, Batista carrying the main parts but Mysterio electrified the crowd whenever he managed to nail a high-flying move which was often. Mysterio went for a 619 but got caught in the ropes, Batista debuted his new submission move, Batista Bite. Mysterio got to the ropes but Batista refused to release the hold.
The bell rang and Batista still refused. Eventually, officials pulled Batista off with struggle and brought Batista up the ramp who sported a sadistic grin.
Backstage, Grisham asks Morrison does he fear that can happen to him. Morrison says that you can beat him, you can injure him, but you can never intimidate him. And if he needs to prove that, then watch tonight when he knocks off a man he was seemingly unstoppable against on ECW in 2007, as well as in 2009 on this very show.
---Commercial Break---
A promo hypes the WWE Royal Rumble 2010 on January 31st, 2010.
Tag Team Match Beth Phoenix and Mickie James def. Team Lay-Cool A pretty typical divas tag team matchup here between two rivaled teams. We've seen this battle and it's equal to their other hardworking battles. They did good here tonight as usual, and in the end, when James clotheslined Layla over the top, McCool hung on, kicking James to the floor from the apron, Phoenix then nailed her Glam Slam for the victory.
Beth Phoenix and Mickie James celebrate a victory. A graphic announces that next week, we will have James/Phoenix/McCool for the Women's Championship. R-Truth is shown walking into the corridor, opening the training room door. Truth asks Mysterio is he fine from Batista's attack. Mysterio replies saying yes. And he can't wait to get revenge. Truth tells him if he needs backup, he's got him, after all, he has beef with Batista too. Mysterio says he'll keep that in mind. They shake hands before Truth leaves, Mysterio is happy, but in pain. We head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
Singles Non-Title Match World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker def. Dolph Ziggler This was surprisingly a great matchup. Ziggler attacked Undertaker from behind at the bell and began to rapidly drop stomps and fist drops to the World Champion. Ziggler nailed a crossbody and then went for a neckbreaker, Undertaker then pulled Ziggler up by his neck and dropped him. Undertaker turned around to Ziggler and nails a big boot followed by a sidewalk slam. Undertaker calls for the Chokeslam, Ziggler rakes the eyes and hits the DDT. Ziggler calls for the Zig-Zag but Undertaker holds the ropes. Undertaker hits a low big boot and then a Last Ride to close things out.
The Undertaker goes to his knees and celebrates his victory. From behind, Dolph Ziggler smashes Undertaker with the World Heavyweight Championship! Ziggler holds the World Heavyweight Championship high, all until fire bursts from the stage and Kane makes his way out to the ring. Ziggler throws the title on Undertaker and quickly leaves the ring. Kane stands tall in the ring as the commentators announce that coming up next, we have a four-way Royal Rumble preview!
---Commercial Break---
Royal Rumble Four-Way Preview Chris Jericho def. Kane, Matt Hardy, and Drew McIntyre A very good matchup between four of SmackDown's top dogs here. Matt Hardy tackled Drew McIntyre and began to get some lefts and rights in on fury. Kane battled with Jericho almost getting him out, in the end, Hardy dropkicked McIntyre to the apron and Jericho came and gave him a Triangle Dropkick to the outside! Kane and Hardy destroyed Jericho at this point, then battled. After about five minutes, Hardy had Kane reeling and Jericho came to pull them both over the ropes and win the match.
Chris Jericho celebrated his victory and took the microphone. He said that winning the Royal Rumble is coming he's never done. But on January 31st, he'll be the only one in this ring and that is guaranteed. Jericho also says that there's been rumors of someone returning but that person is going to have a sad night as is the other 29, when Jericho is in the ring, because he is going to prove why he is indeed the greatest in the world at what he does, when he wins the 30 Man Royal Rumble. Jericho celebrates his victory before we head to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match Luke Gallows w/Brett DiBiase and Serena def. JTG A pretty decent matchup, to cool the crowd down before the major main event match tonight. This match was pretty slow but still back-and-forth. Gallows worked over JTG's arm and JTG just hit momentum moves and get the crowd hype. He hopped off of the top rope but Gallows caught him with a scoop backbreaker followed by a Gallows Pole for the victory.
Luke Gallows celebrated his victory. We head to backstage to see CM Punk clapping. On the other side, John Morrison is doing his amazing parkour routine.
Singles Main Event CM Punk def. John Morrison Spectacular main event to close out this week's SmackDown. Morrison and Punk traded arm drags before CM Punk got a knee to the gut, followed by a double underhook backbreaker, shining wizard/bulldog, and a springboard clothesline. Not to be outdone, Morrison nailed the Flying Chuck, sunset flip powerbomb, and a double underhook powerbomb. Morrison get up for the Moonlight Drive but Punk pushed off, Morrison ran back to Punk and fell victim to a scoop powerslam for the two. Morrison rolled up Punk who was taunting and got a two count before hitting the Moonlight Drive. Batista's theme music hit and Morrison became distracted. Punk turned him around and nailed the Go 2 Sleep for the victory!
CM Punk celebrated his victory. Hurrying to the backstage area, Batista stood on the ramp with a sadistic grin, Morrison stirring and looking up the ramp in determination and anger at "The Animal". They had a distant staredown as Friday Night SmackDown went off air. And the screen faded to black.

Monday Night RAW January 25th, 2010 Columbus, OH
A recap video hypes last week involving Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes over John Cena after Randy Orton's interference.
Pyrotechnics open up the show tonight before Jerry "The King" Lawler and Michael Cole welcome us to Monday Night RAW, six days until the first PPV of 2010, Royal Rumble. They hype tonight's main event, John Cena taking on Sheamus before we head to the ring.
WWE Champion Randy Orton makes his way to the ring leading his Legacy to the ring. He hypes how last week, the fans' hero, John Cena took a dose of the greatest tag team stable in the WWE today. He goes on to take us back to the history of John Cena and Randy Orton where he's beaten John Cena at three PPVs in 2009 as well as at WrestleMania in 2008. It dragged a bit but he's making a strong point going into the Royal Rumble. This brought out John Cena who made his way to the ring, he says that tonight, he's facing Sheamus and he'd suggest Randy Orton take a close look as it'll be exactly what's to come in 168 hours this weekend. And, our guest host tonight, Dule Hill is a bit late tonight so he's delivering the message. They can pick each other's opponents for tonight. Orton calls that Cena be against not only Sheamus, but Jack Swagger as well tonight. Cena looks a bit worried, but still determined. He says that WWE Champion Randy Orton will be in action tonight, going up against Evan Bourne. As for Rhodes and DiBiase, they take on MVP and Kofi Kingston right now.
---Commercial Break---
We see a graphic hyping our double main event of John Cena/Sheamus & Orton/Bourne tonight.
Tag Team Match Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes def. MVP and Kofi Kingston A fun start to RAW here as two of RAW's most exciting superstars teamed up to take on the second-generation future World champions. Rhodes and DiBiase decided to work over the slightly smaller Kofi Kingston. MVP would eventually made a hot tag and come in knocking them off their feet repeatedly. MVP then threw Rhodes to the apron and then clotheslining them off. DiBiase took advantage of the distraction nailing a Dream Street and dropkicking Kofi off the apron to score the win.
Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes celebrate their victory, a victory that should hype and relieve their leader, Randy Orton. He's should backstage with a grin, satisfied with his stable members. We head to interview.
Josh Matthews asks Sheamus how he feels going into the biggest match of his career tonight. Sheamus says that 2010 is going to be a year of all big things for him, so people should get used to that, and everyone will have to Sheamus standing tall over all their heros, week in, week out, and step 1 is John Cena. Sheamus walks off to a decent pop.
A promo hypes the WWE Royal Rumble 2010 on January 31st, 2010.
---Commercial Break---
We come back to see Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler running down the card for Royal Rumble. We then see a quick video of some of the Royal Rumble highlights such as Austin winning repeated Rumbles alongside HBK, Cena returning to win, and Kane's eleven eliminations, etc.
Divas Battle Royal Women's Champion Melina def. Alicia Fox, Gail Kim, and Maryse The divas gave us their preview of the Royal Rumble here with a solid showing as usual. Fox showed a more dominant side here tonight, tallying up two eliminations. She clotheslined Maryse over the turnbuckle and gave Kim a big boot off the apron, as soon as she turned around, she was dropkicked over the top rope and celebrated the victory.
Melina celebrated her win, showing once again why she is the Divas Champion. Alicia Fox, took offense to her celebration, nailing a tilt-a-whirl-sideslam and holds the Divas Champion high over him.
Backstage, we see Randy Orton on his way to the ring, He faces Evan "Air" Bourne up next on Monday Night RAW.
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Evan Bourne (Non Title) A very good matchup here, lasting around eight minutes, Randy Orton fell victim to some hard kicks to knock off things, Bourne then hit a running hurricanrana and then a double knee drop. He attempted a springboard savate kick but Orton tripped him up and catapuled him, nailing a headlock backbreaker. Randy Orton nailed his signature stomps and set up for his RKO. Bourne pushed off and nailed another hurricanrana followed by a swinging heel kick and then he called for the Air Bourne. Shelton Benjamin's theme music hit but there was no sign of the ECW Champion on RAW. Bourne hopped while Orton was on his knees and in mid-air, Orton nails an RKO countering Bourne's Air Bourne! The fans made sure they heard that "holy shit!" as well. Randy Orton quickly crawled to the cover and won.
WWE Champion Randy Orton stood up on the turnbuckles raising his WWE Championship high. The commentators even gave some nice feedback here, and shockingly Orton left to a pop. Bourne was still laid out in the ring, once he got up, Benjamin turned him around and nailed a Paydirt! Benjamin held the ECW Title over him as we go to commercial.
---Commercial Break---
Josh Matthews is back with John Cena. Matthews asks Cena if he feels tonight's momentum is crucial. Cena says that his back has been against the wall once many times before. Orton can only win his matches if there's some sort of distraction. He's learned that and since he knows tonight, he's keeping a close eye on Orton, and if that means having to put Orton on notice, then so be it.
Big Show made his way out to the ring, saying that he indeed made his presence known last week and now, that sets the tone for all GMs that this giant, Big Show is no longer playing. He says that he still has some to give revenge to such as Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather. This brings out Dule Hill who says that he too has an iron fist like them. He does a karate pose and looks around realizing he's looks a bit weird. Show asks him what he's doing out here. Hill replies he's giving Show another chance to prove himself. Show says that whoever Hill has put at him will be crushed. Hill motions for them to come out, it's D-Generation-X. Show is a bit confused. But he will face one of them next!
---Commercial Break---
We come back to see Big Show ready to fight, Shawn Michaels and Triple H on the apron playing Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who will fight Show, HHH wins one, and Michaels calls 2/3 and wins the next two. HHH looks pissed but also looks like he's about to laugh. The bell rings and the action begins.
Singles Match Shawn Michaels def. Big Show via DQ A long matchup here, Michaels was definitely down in size advantage here tonight. He went for his usual gameplan that his lead up to becoming a future Hall of Famer. He got in his chops and all, Show would eventually push him off and nail a headbutt. Show went for the Chokeslam but Michaels called for a DDT. Show through him off and went for his Knockout Punch, Michaels dodged and Show hit the referee! Michaels then tried a Sweet Chin Music, Show caught the foot and nailed a Chokeslam. Show went to revive the referee and then go for the cover, but the referee had called for the disqualification of Big Show.
Show went to reason with the referee but turned around into a Sweet Chin Music and back into the Pedigree, suddenly, HHH tosses HBK over the top rope, motioning that's how easy it is as the Royal Rumble. HBK sits on the outside flooring, confused as HHH stands tall to our graphic hyping our main event, we head to commercial break.
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match Primo def. Chavo Guerrero A recent Superstars rematch here tonight, these two share a close resemblance and were attempting to get the crowd ready for the big Handicap Main Event. They did very well as usual, the end of this match came when Primo pushed Guerrero off the top rope and nailed his finishing top rope Crossbody to score the victory.
We see Primo celebrating which is quickly short as we see #1 Contender for the WWE Championship, John Cena on his way to the ring, he faces Sheamus and Jack Swagger, next on Monday Night RAW!
---Commercial Break---
Handicap Main Event Sheamus and Jack Swagger def. John Cena John Cena knew he was facing impossible odds here, but he's beaten those same odds once before. Cena was on fire at first, nailing Swagger with everything he had, but a blind tag to Sheamus allowed Cena to be worked over. They destroyed him with power moves. Cena would eventually hit a pull-back spinebuster on Sheamus and head to the top to hit a diving leg drop bulldog. He hit his shoulder blocks, back suplex bomb, 5 Knuckle Shuffle, and called for the F-U. Swagger came in and was scooped on Cena's shoulders, Sheamus then nailed a hard Brogue Kick, taking Cena out. Sheamus crawled to get the cover on the #1 Contender, and got his team a huge win.
Sheamus and Jack Swagger headed up the ramp at their huge win, knowing it was not easy. Randy Orton made his way down and immediately began to stalk John Cena with the Punt Kick which connected! Randy Orton then followed him and threw off the announce table stuff. Orton attempted an RKO on the announce table, the same move that put John Cena out with a pectoral injury in 2007. Cena pushed Orton off and Orton fell through the other table. John Cena stands tall holding the WWE Title as RAW goes off air!

Dreamer says that Trent and Caylen want him gone so much, they've got their chance tonight. And they will fail. People have come and gone but yet Dreamer has stayed to the end, and he won't go just yet. The crowd pops at another graphic of our main event, as we head to commercial. ---Commercial Break--- A promo hypes the WWE Royal Rumble 2010 on January 31st, 2010. We see the history of the Royal Rumble with Kane eliminating Santino Marella in 0:01, and the recent winners of the Royal Rumble before we head back to the arena. Singles Match Ezekiel Jackson w/Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal def. The Hurricane A decent matchup here, Jackson basically displayed his superhuman strength tonight, Hurricane, not to be outdone, took this match to his favor with an extremely hard spinning heel kick. Ezekiel Jackson takes a microphone and takes us back to the Royal Rumble of 2009, Legacy stood strong, all three of them in the final four, and eventually the leader winning. This year, that will belong to the Ruthless Roundtable, because by the end of the Royal Rumble, one man will be standing tall, either that being Vladimir Kozlov, Ezekiel Jackson, or William Regal, either way, this year is what the Ruthless Roundtable calls domination. Jackson grins, as Kozlov and he head up the ramp. Goldust and Caylen Croft kicked off things, Goldust taking Croft to the limit with a rope-hung suplex, followed by a big boot and a crossbody. Goldust called for his finisher, but Benjamin made a blind tag and nailed a t-bone suplex. After every move, he'd look at Bourne and he nailed each move with some intensity, more than usual. They worked over Goldust, all until Dreamer got a tag, hitting the Dudebusters each with a clothesline and tossing Caylen out and hitting the Dreamer Driver to Trent. Bourne came in and tried for the Air Bourne, not the legal man, Benjamin dropkicked him off as they both crashed to the floor. Dreamer hit Barreta with the Dreamer DDT as Goldust was clotheslined on the outside by Benjamin. Tommy went to cover, Caylen booted him in the head, Goldust suplexes him to the apron with him, Dreamer was hurt from the boot, which allowed Barreta to nail his springboard tornado DDT and seal the victory. SmackDown GM, Teddy Long makes his way out to the ring, greeting us and welcoming us to Friday Night SmackDown and with Royal Rumble coming up, and SmackDown having the "top stars" he can tell that this is going to be SmackDown's year for the first time since 2007. Teddy says that he knows it won't be easy, but SmackDown is the "superior" brand and he has proof, back in October at Bragging Rights when SmackDown won the Bragging Rights Trophy. Teddy tells us that there's no trophy, but there's a big reward. One bigger than a trophy, the pass to headline WrestleMania 26. Teddy Long goes on to say that last week's main event was great, but it was ruined by Batista. And since he did that, he's going to face World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker in tonight's main event. This brings out our Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre and asks Teddy Long is that supposed to be some kind of punishment. Long replies not a punishment, but a treat for the superior brand's fans around the world. McIntyre says that Long needs to forget about Batista and Undertaker, they aren't the future like McIntyre is, so he wants to face the World Champion tonight. Long says that he's already booked that matchup, but since he wants a fight so bad, he can get one right here against R-Truth! McIntyre is pissed, but the match will happen, next!
---Commercial Break---
Singles Match Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre def. R-Truth (Non Title) Good matchup here to kick off Friday Night SmackDown between two of SmackDown's top mid-card talent and two of the thirty men that will participate in the Royal Rumble this Sunday. Beth and Serena celebrated the victory, from behind, Serena hits a Russian Leg Sweep on Beh Phoenix and stands tall in the middle of the ring as we head to commercial.

The three teamed announce team, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler hype their side of the matches as well as Todd Grisham and Matt Striker, and finally Josh Matthews and Bryon Saxton hype all their matches on the card, ECW is last, as they have the first match up tonight.
ECW Championship MatchShelton Benjamin def. Evan Bourne to retain the ECW Title 12:04 A great back-and-forth matchup to really set the tone for the rest of the show. Bourne, as usual, got in some hard kicks to the legs and shin of Bourne, he went for a high knee, sending Benjamin over the top rope. He hopped on to the apron and attempted a turnaround splash off there, Benjamin held his leg and he flopped on the apron which allowed Benjamin to nail a hard boot to the head while on the apron and he followed that with the Shell Bomb and the missile dropkick for the two. Benjamin called for the suplex but Bourne kneed his way out and nailed two running hurricanranas. He went to the top and nailed a double knee drop and went to the top for the Air Bourne, Benjamin got to his feet and almost cat-like nailed a belly-to-belly slam off. Benjamin applied some rest holds at this point, all until Bourne fired out, hitting a roundhouse kick to the skull. Bourne hopped the apron and jumped right into a mid-air Paydirt! Benjamin hooked both legs and got a hard-fought victory over Evan Bourne to retain the gold.
Shelton Benjamin celebrates a very tough title defense. Bourne offered a hand shake here, which was declined by Shelton Benjamin. Bourne still got a good ovation, leaving, we head backstage.
Randy Orton is sitting in a chair, Cody Rhodes makes his into the room, saying how Ted DiBiase has all day been talking about winning the Royal Rumble and beating Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship! Randy Orton jumps out of his seat and tells Rhodes to go find Ted so they can put him in his place. They walk off, we head to interview.
Ashley Valance is standing by with "The Champ" John Cena, asking him does he sense any cheating from Orton tonight. Cena says he can smell it from a mile away and that it's always there when he's facing someone he knows he can't beat fairly. But tonight, he's going to try to stop it, so that the Cenation can once again call him the champ. Cena salutes and walks off.
We come to the arena where we see the Atlanta Falcons in the arena tonight as well as some of the National Guard soldiers, we head to a promo.
This promo is basically a mix of the DX/Hart Dynasty and the McMahon/Bret feud tonight making a family battle, before we head to our Unified Tag Team Title Match.
Unified Tag Team ChampionshipsD-Generation-X def. Hart Dynasty to retain 10:45 Hart Dynasty really showed what they're capable of here tonight and could be headed for a run for the championships sooner than later. Triple H and Smith started off things with a power base here, Triple H getting the better and nailing a Spinebuster and almost a Pedigree before Smith hit a big boot and a scoop slam. Michaels and Kidd had a phenomenal exchange here, and with Michaels being the more experienced here, gave him a slight advantage, though Kidd gave him a run for his money and they eventually worked over him with elbows to the back, neckbreakers and top rope splashes from Kidd, powerslams and clotheslines from Smith. Michaels began to rally back, hitting a flying forearm and then a scoop slam, elbow drop, Smith made a blind tag to Kidd who nailed Michaels with a Springboard Clothesline. HHH made his way in and clotheslined Kidd down, as well as clotheslining Smith out of the ring. Michaels was stirring at the same pace as Kidd. They locked up, and out of nowhere, Michaels drills Tyson Kidd with a Sweet Chin Music and collapsed on top of Kidd to seal the victory.
Michaels was still laid out in the ring, Trips helped him to his feet and the crowd was going wild in here, Kidd and Smith didn't seem pissed they lost as they lost in pride tonight, in a solid title contest.
A promotion video hypes WWE Elimination Chamber, which is live in St. Louis, MO on February 21st, 2010.
We see a beautiful outside view of Atlanta, Georgia before we head to another promo, hyping our World Heavyweight Championship Match, this one between CM Punk and The Undertaker, two huge rivals, and how their feud goes all the way back to SummerSlam of 2009.
World Heavyweight ChampionshipCM Punk def. Undertaker to win the World Heavyweight Title 17:46 Great match again here, they locked up twice ending with Punk having his arm wringered and then lifted high by his arm followed by the arm drag. Taker got him in the corner and was reigning down the lefts and rights to the gut. Taker then whipped him off the turnbuckle until trying to lift him on his shoulders. Punk reversed and hit a reverse backbreaker followed by some stomps in the corner. Punk taunted and pulled Taker to the center of the ring for the two and followed this up with a surfboard submission and then a double underhook backbreaker for the two. Punk whipped Undertaker to the ropes and hit his shining wizard. He called for his bulldog but he got pushed off and ran back into a big boot. He lifted CM Punk high for the Last Ride which got a shocking two count! Undertaker hits a sidewalk slam and then the Chokeslam for the close two. He then calls for the Tombstone but Punk reverses, turns Taker around and nails a hard Go 2 Sleep, Undertaker falls to the ropes and bounces back where CM Punk hits another Go 2 Sleep! He falls to the cover and only gets a two! He's pissed but gets Undertaker up again for one last Go 2 Sleep to secure the victory!
CM Punk is in relief and is jumping around in celebration that he has just won the World Heavyweight Championship. It took him three Go 2 Sleeps but he's heading up the ramp alongside Gallows, DiBiase, and Serena as we head backstage.
Now backstage, we see Randy Orton walking, Ted DiBiase is yelling his name as he's running to him. Ted says that he doesn't know what's wrong with Cody right now. Orton looks confused and asks why. Ted says that lately, he hasn't been talking about anything but winning the Royal Rumble and facing John Cena like he's given up on Orton already. Orton says he's gotten messages from the two of him and he thinks they're trying to get in his head, and tonight, Cody is sadly mistaking as John Cena is about to have his skull punted off.
A dramatic video promo hypes our WWE Championship Match between John Cena and WWE Champion Randy Orton of their long 2009 feud, spilling all over 2010, and that match is next!
WWE Championship MatchJohn Cena def. Randy Orton via disqualification (Orton retains) 15:11 Cena and Orton lock up, to kick off another exciting matchup here, Cena drives him to the turnbuckle and innocently raises his hands up and steps back. Orton drives into Cena with a hard slap. Cena makes a face and then turns around, tackling Orton and unleashing a fury of right hands. The referee pulls him off as Orton goes to the turnbuckle and pulls Cena into the turnbuckle. Orton then hits the face wash and goes to the top rope and misses target on a crossbody and lands face first to the canvas. Cena then sees his chance to apply the STF in the middle of the ring! Orton is desperately searching for the ropes and finally does get them. Cena takes it till four where the referee gets him off. He shoves the referee away and walks right back into an RKO! Orton gets a two count and begins his methodical run with a scoop powerslam, vicious Orton stomps, headlock backbreaker, and almost another RKO. Cena hits his shoulder block, spin-out powerbomb, 5 Knuckle Shuffle, and has Orton for the F-U. Suddenly, Cody Rhodes comes down and pulls Orton off of Cena, the referee calls for a DQ.
Randy Orton seems to have mixed emotions here, as he retains the title, but loses to a huge rival here for his gold. Rhodes tries to explain and Orton gets more pissed by the second and nails Rhodes with an RKO as Ted comes down and tells them to break it up. DiBiase attempts to assist Orton out the ring and he gets nailed with an RKO as well. Orton leaves his Legacy collaegues in the ring as they've cost him the match, as Cena heads up the ramp after him, angrily.
Once again, we see a promo hyping the history and facts of the Royal Rumble, and now it's time for that very match!

Bourne deserves a reign somewhere down the road. - I like that you're keeping the backstage segments with Legacy that took place on the real show. - D-X retaining the titles is a solid call as I felt that THD winning here wouldn't have been the best option to go for. - Surprised that Punk won the gold but it's not a problem. Hope to see Punk enter 'Mania as the champion. - Fine call to have Orton retain via Cody's involvement in a similar matter to what actually happened at the Rumble this year. - Absolutely love the swerve in the Rumble match with Hardy entering instead of Edge. Jeff winning the Rumble is a solid call, although an odd choice of remaining superstars following the 30th entrant. - Good Rumble PPV. Nothing really wrong here and I look forward to the build to EC and WM.
