His release shocked me. I didn't know he needed time off, especially to the point where he wanted to leave WWE completely. I was like 'Sheeeit'.

I wasnt shocked by his release bc it seemed he had personal issues before he was released. The real shock was seeing that Angle signed with TNA. I never expected that.

For me it would be Angle joining TNA. When i saw that WWE let him go, I figured afew months would go by and he would pop back up in ECW.... Instead he pops up in TNA. Definatly a huge shock to me.

Once he was released there was always the option of TNA so the release was a bigger shock imo.

I thought that him going to TNA was a huge shock! I din't know anything about his release or anything as my job at the time didn't allow much time for the internet. I found out that he was in TNA while I was attending an indy show in my hometown. CK3 was handing out these cards promoting TNA and Angle was on it! I couldn't believe it. I thought Angle was going to be in WWE forever. It still, to me, is the biggest signing in the history of TNA!
