I am going to assume that Mattel regular belts for the entire line aren't going to be faux leather and die cast. I hope they go the route of the very FIRST Jakks belts from the first BCA belts box set. They were colored, soft plastic and had raised plates. Wait, you mean... I wouldn't complain.

I thought to myself as I typed that "I hope chicago see this and posts pictures."
LOL.
I really hope that the Mattel belts are similar to those.

But, seriously, those belts are awesome and would look great if they were scaled to the Mattel figures and, of course, represented the current WWE title belts. It's nice to have the flashy, gold plates with color added, but nothing beats the detail of those first Jakks belts. It wouldn't surprise me if Mattel went out of their way to paint the belts for the first few waves, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us.

They really are the best belts that Jakks mass produced. While the second set of BCA belts were good in their own right they A) weren't classic designs and B) didn't have raised plates!
I was never a fan of the plastic plate Jakks belts (TTL and on). The IC belt was a disgrace to action figure scale.
