i got the entrance greats rey the other day and the deco and gear is top notch but i dont like the figure itself. it looks like he has no neck, the legs are to long and i think its to small overall. it does not resemble reys body at all reall IMO. is the elite any better?

Have you looked at Rey lately there is no neck to be found! He has a short torso and longer legs. I have the figure and I love it I think it looks great. I also ordered the elite Rey too. He is perfectly to scale.

it might just take some getting use to but to me the figure parts itself are mattels weakest so far.

I noticed this as well. he looks RIDICULOUSLY small compared to the other guys. Rey is not 130 lbs. His torso on the elite figure is soooo skinny, its absurd. He should cost $2.00 less than all the other elites because they used so much less plastic to make him. I think the scan resembles his RA23 figure more than anything and doesn't really capture his look.
The attire, however, is awesome and the mask/shirt he comes with is cool as well.

the funny thing is that all the parts used for rey are his own not used on anyother figure but it still dosint fit him. i think jakks last reys were more accurate as far as his body likeness then mattel.

i have the entrance greats also and feel the same way. mattel has done a pretty good job as far as choosing the right body parts for other figures(look at evan bournes its great) but i think they got rey all wrong. rey is a little wider and thicker these days,my favorite rey is the best of 09 RA rey with the yellow/blue attire. i know alot of ppl dont like the torso on it but i think its the best rey out.

I've really not look at the Rey's figures because I have zero intrest in Rey so I don't want his figures on my shelf.

The Elite Rey is fantastic. I see what your saying about the legs & neck, but I still think the figure is perfect. He just so small compared to the others, and that is a nice change from Jakks.

I'd rather have an in-scale Mysterio than one that is the same height as Kane with the same size biceps.

I honestly never liked any Rey figures until the Mattel Elite version.

I honestly never liked any Rey figures until the Mattel Elite version. The only Rey I ever like was the one in the Flash attire. And that was just because he was in the Flash atttire.

I have that one somewhere. But I only bought it for the comic connection. As far as having a Rey figure for my wrestling collection, the Elite one is the only that makes the cut.

What about Silver Surfer or Spiderman Rey? I'm a DC guy. Same here. Very few Marvel characters appeal to me. Daredevil...and that is pretty much it.

The Entrance Greats Rey is terrible, but this Elite figure is great. Sweet attire, cool accessories, nice scan, etc.
