- There were rumors that Jeff Jarrett went off-script at Monday’s iMPACT with his in-ring promo but he did not. While Hulk Hogan was surprised by how everything went down, he did tell Jarrett to cut a babyface promo. Hogan’s plan was to out-face him and then was shocked when he got boo’d.
-----------------------------------------
What did he think? He went out there and buried probably the #3 top babyface and buried everything TNA did before hand. Of course he'll get booed.

I'm still confused as to why it took his entourage 15 mins to get to the building, if Hulk's "been in the back all day talking to the boys".
I think (based on the spoilers for next week as well) that they are going about this in either the wrong way, or in a way to confuse the **** out of people.

when fans booed hogan I was sure that wasnt the reaction they were looking for. I enjoyed impact but at times my head hurt trying to work out what was going on. I think they packed too much new story lines into the show. Honestly I cant remember everything that went down.

I do agree with you that they tried to pack too much into one show. I mean arguably the greatest sports-entertainer of all time, Ric Flair, was on camera for about 6 or 7 total minutes, and I still have no idea what his role is.

Seriously, why do people bring this up as this some major plot hole or something? Did anyone stop and think for one second that he could have been there all day, then go back to his hotel room to shower and change to get ready for the live show and then come back? There have been times where I worked my entire shift at work and went home, ate, showered, and then came back for another activity that was going on. Really people, this isn't that weird.

The big deal was that he was arriving to make his on-air debut on TNA Impact, not "OMG this is the first time Hulk Hogan has ever showed up!" Whether he had been there all day or not was irrelevant, what was relevant was that he was going to be part of the show itself for the first time and he was making an entrance.

Why wouldn't he have been there when the show opened? I understand keeping him off tv until Raw was on, but logically why wouldn't he have been at the arena when the show started?

what would be the point of leaving work and going to shower only to come back to work when more then likely there are showers there. Cmon, use a lil common sense

They never actually showed Hogan getting out of the limo, did they? I can't remember if they did or not.

Ha my friend and I were debating the limo mania as well. Then we just wrote it off as TNA being TNA.

I had heard that apparently Jarrett was supposed to go a bit further with the 'I've done some not so good things' in terms of holding back others/the company in favor of himself, but he didn't. Either way, Hogan's character came across as a total dick.

it was a stupid promo and like said it buried TNA and Jarrett

Is he that stupid? I honestly feel like Jarret's promo was the most sincere, best of the night, and it really felt like he meant everything he said. He's in the middle of putting over TNA and it's superstars and Hogan, who's NEW to the company as opposed to the founder and veteran Jarret, cuts him off to tell him he should have him thrown out of the building, he's in charge, etc. and essentially tells him to off? Yup, a real great move...can't believe he didn't get a standing ovation.

I just thought the little police escort thing was a little silly.
Hogan isn't THAT big of a deal.
