I noticed something Monday that I'd never heard before on a TNA broadcast. Now granted I don't watch iMPACT! every week, but still...
Before the AJ/Kurt match, they made mention to either Kurt or AJ (don't remember which) being the best wrestling "in sports entertainment".
When the hell did they start referring to wrestling as Sports Entertainment? I thought that was a McMahon-ism. Is this a change, abit a small one, that is one that comes with the times, or is it TNA trying to be more like big brother WWE?

Hogan changed it. Dixie said just a few weeks ago they're pro-wrestling. Hogan's the idiot who wants it called "sports entertainment"

Hogan changed it. Dixie said just a few weeks ago they're pro-wrestling. Hogan's the idiot who wants it called "sports entertainment" I think that's the overall problem with the TNA/Hogan merger. Hogan wants to make it more like "the big boys" and TNA wants to stand out as a unique product.

TNA hasn't stood out as a "unique product" since 2005.

Yeah sports-entertainment is definitely a big Hogan thing. Dixie's been saying in interviews forever that TNA is a wrestling show (yes, insert jokes here) and that's the term they're going to use.
