I read somewhere that's it's the New Japan nWo theme, which TNA can use because of their relationship with New Japan.

I read somewhere that's it's the New Japan nWo theme, which TNA can use because of their relationship with New Japan. Wrong. It was from the nWo Japan CD, which was a WCW CD composed by Jimmy Hart, released in Japan. The music is owned by Jimmy Hart, who is Hogan's buddy, so that's why they can use it. TNA doesn't even let the NJPW guys use their real themes.

It's actually a Dave Oliver remake of the nWo 2000 theme.

the actual nwo theme came from a porno in the 70's.
anybody can use it as long as they pay the rights. WF could use it for their opening theme.

Its not nWo Japan theme nor is it by Dale Oliver, its from the WCW/nWo thunder game and was composed by Jimmy Hart and since it was never used on Turner television WWE doesnt own the rights to it like they do all other WCW composed music, Im sure Jimmy had no probs with his buddy Hulk using it on TNA television

I don't hate it but I was just hoping they'd buy the rights to VooDoo Child and use that instead. Oh well!

It's pretty cool to hear in this day and age, IMO.

True but it seems half hearted without the rights to the actual nWo. Why not just stick by something you can actually use, or even just make something new? I am thanking up and down though that it's not a Real American knock off, because I hate that song!
