I'd rather watch TNA fail with decent wrestling television than WWE succeed with the same crap put on my TV, all of which feels and has felt empty and pointless for the last 5 years.

This is just deplorable for TNA. They should stay on Thursdays with ratings like this. And this is coming from a huge TNA fan.

A fan asked Eric Bischoff the following question on his Facebook page: Why aren't you commenting on your thoughts on this week's ratings. They weren't better but I think everyone would like to hear what you think. Bischoff replied with this: Markus...you need to get a life.

I'm sure Markus would have had a life if TNA got a 1.1 or 1.2.

Last night's replay of the March 15 TNA Impact episode averaged 1.16 million viewers, which was more than the number of viewers for the first-run airing on Monday night opposite WWE Raw. Monday's airing drew 1.10 million viewers and scored a 0.84 TV rating, which was the lowest rating since November 2006. credit pwtorch ----------------------------------------------------------------- Wake Up TNA!

TNA's getting better numbers than they are going up against RAW?
REALLY? Of course they are, TNA knows it's not going to be two weeks of a turn around.

If they don't change time slots they are crazy. Clearly this is a sizable audience for tna now considering over 2 million people watched impact at some point this week. They need to get in a time slot where everyone can watch. If they ever start getting 3.0s then consider going head to head with raw

If they ever start getting 3.0s then consider going head to head with raw You really think that everyone that watched on Thursday didn't watch it on Monday, so that it's over 2 million watching? I doubt every single one of those viewers on Thursday didn't watch on Monday. And if what you are saying is the case, then where were these 2 million people when they could only catch it on Thursdays? They won't be getting 3's while going up against Raw. And if they couldn't do it for these past years they've been on TV, I don't think that all of a sudden millions more people are going to start watching TNA.

Why you're all so fascinated with the ratings is beyond me, I mean can't you just enjoy that two main stream wrestling companies are going head to head every Monday and this is the first time in many years that this has happened? The only people who the ratings should really matter to are the TV networks and those who are a part of the wrestling company itself.

It's not that anyone is fascinated by it, it's all just discussion. However, showing that the ratings have mostly DROPPED, is quite humorous.
Hogan thought they could give RAW a run for it's money, on Monday's. Yet ( for now ), they haven't really made any progress.
Hell, even the replay is doing better numbers. Which simply shows that wrestling fans would much rather watch RAW, than iMPACT! It shows that the formula TNA is using isn't quite working, to create any kind of "war". It's been said a million times ( including me ), TNA should have gone LIVE on Thursday's, rather than Monday's.
And SG, seriously man... don't act like the replay doing better DOESN'T bother Hogan and Bischoff. Don't act like their main objective isn't to beat RAW in the ratings. Wrestling fans care more about RAW, than iMPACT! and when forced to choose one... most have chosen RAW, clearly. Accept it, TNA made a bad decision of moving to Monday nights.

The only people who the ratings should really matter to are the TV networks and those who are a part of the wrestling company itself. Personally, I want TNA to succeed. But since they base their success on ratings it, it becomes an issue. If TNA and Hogan, Dixie, etc didn't clamor all the time about the importance of ratings and build so much stock in it then I'm sure most people wouldnt care. It's only an issue becasue TNA has made it an issue. As I've said before ratings does not equal quality. I think the thursday night replay showed that in full. 3 million people that tuned into Raw on Monday had a chance to watch impact on thursday...It appears that few if any did. So does that mean TNA's product was junk? imo it was the better show, but fans like what they like. It's like if their are two football teams playing...one on one channel i like and another one I hate on another channel. do you think im gonna watch the team I hate either time? probably not. If TNA would just focus on letting the workers work, and telling storylines then they would all but guarantee the same or better ratings. And the move to Mondays was them focusing on ratings again instead of their own product. they just need to make a show and stop worrying about the frukin ratings! this is not the 90's and there will never be another Monday night war. The best thing for them to do if they do care about ratings is to return to Thursday night, otherwise they need to stop focusing on it and just put a damn wrestling product out there.

Yes, it's only been 2 shows. However, the first week was a decline of the normal Thursday ratings and this past week's did even worse than the first week.
If numbers don't start increasing to a solid 1.0 or more EACH week, they might as well go back to Thursdays. Where WWE fans could easily watch their program, rather than choosing RAW over it.
