Troll? it's called an opinion, ive contributed more to this more than you have in you're entire tenure here. oh and you are a Fred Durst mark so i naturally don't expect you to know any better....or anything for that matter.

ratings does not equal quality. Agreed. Say whatever you want.. but I was watching TNA with a few friends last night, and I thought it was the quality show. It was definitely more exciting, had more big names, and entertaining angles. Oh well..

Lmao at those people saying TNA is doomed. Monday is wrestling night. People are going to be tuning in, especially if big stars show up. eriously guys use your brains here, Bischoff is coasting. Im very sure that Hulk and Bischoff could care less what the last few thursay night Impacts drew. They were not even putting out their best stuff. The have been biding their time. Bischoff does not take being LIVE lightly, he will be throwing bombs and going all out. The mainstream audience lost interest in TNA after 1/4. Unless your on mondays or your name is Smackdown, the casual fan doesen't give a damn about you. TNA will show up monday going all out, and will get another high rating. Mark my words, if TNA does not get atleast a 1.5 again i will delete myself upon the release of rating. Best off then. It's a shame. I watched TNA's show earlier, it was good, but I really don't think they can compete with Raw, at least not in 2010. I think they should of just gone live on Thursdays, and then maybe move to Friday, and go after Smackdown? But, lessons are there to be learnt I suppose

Anyone who laughs and is glad tna didn't rate that high is foolish. If tna does well it is only going to make wwe better. The wwe was at its best when wcw was a force. I hope tna build an audience bc I'm sick of the same old same old on wwe.

The ONLY good of this will be that it shows them its time to change the booking and writing style and of course it most likely won't.

A 1.0 has to be considered a failure by TNA. They were drawing more viewers with a taped Thursday show.

He'll probably just say he's going to wait until the quarter hour break down comes out, then say "I meant if 1 segment doesn't break or tie 1.5 then I'll delete myself." ..Or come back as JSYN's brother.

well...not sure how this changes things...but took this pwtorch.com
"The 1.0 rating for TNA does not look favorable with the big show hyped last night, but Spike TV is saying they expect the Impact number to increase with DVR viewing, as they believe a "significant portion of the audience" will be watch Impact via DVR."
again not sure how this impacts rating numbers but something to look at nonetheless

Guess I'll just repost what I posted on the WWE board on the matter.
Not the greatest start but that's alright because that's exactly what it is....a new start for TNA. They'll get better ratings over time, I'm sure. I wish all the best for TNA.

I am really disapointed that TNA did so poorly and they should be to I think. The real shame is I thought TNA put on a quality show, or at least a better one then the WWE.

God this site is full of some really childish people.
Anyways, that is such an unfortunate and, at least to me, unexpected rating. I thought they'd either match their old high, or have a minor increase over their current best. I definitely don't think they should abandon the live idea, but they need to really go over their options if these ratings don't increase over the next month or so.

Pretty bad to say the least.
But why do people make more than one thread about it when this is the official ratings thread and has been so since the beginning of the year?

The following are the quarter-hour ratings for Monday's TNA Impact television show.
Q1: 0.99 rating - Hulk Hogan, Abyss, A.J. Styles, Ric Flair, Sting appearance
Q2: 0.98 rating - Sting and Dixie backstage, Styles and Flair, X Division setup and match
Q3: 1.00 rating - Continuation of X Division match, Shannon Moore run-in, Dixie Carter, Beautiful People tease
Q4: 1.07 rating - Knockouts Tag Title match, Tazz teases RVD, RVD vs. Sting
Q5: 1.07 rating - Sting and Hogan confrontation, Kevin Nash, Eric Young, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman
Q6: 1.03 rating - Young vs. Waltman, Ken Anderson and Kurt Angle
Q7: 0.95 rating - Bubba The Love Sponge with Hogan, Beer Money vs. Jeff Jarrett
Q8: 0.76 rating - Beer Money vs. Jarrett conclusion, Hulk and Brooke Hogan, Hogan and Abyss vs. Flair and Styles
Overrun: 1.01 rating - The bulk of the main event match, various run-ins, Jeff Hardy save
Powell's POV: It looks like the Beer Money vs. Jarrett handicap match is a big part of the ratings drop in the second hour, as the bulk of the main event match took place during the overrun.
At least it was steady, excluding the BM Jarrett angle.
