Yeah, I too just read a bit more of this shocking news on Wrestlezone.com and I just can't believe it. Man, why can't these guys make it to 50?? Is there some sort of curse against wrestlers making it to 50 or what??
I mean, come on. 47 years old??...That's still way too young to die.
Tony Halme a.k.a. Ludvig Borga will be greatly missed...
R.I.P.

Damn, what a shame.
Borga would've definitely been in a main event program with Luger (or against Bret for the WWF title) had he not suffered a serious ankle injury.
47 is way too young, and unfortunately he won't be the last former wrestler to die before the age of 50.

We just lost "Dr. Death" Steve Williams a little over a week or so ago and he was only 49. Now, barely a week later, Ludvig Borga passes away at 47... I have a feeling 2010 will be a bad year for wrestling....

RIP Ludvig Borga. I liked the angle he had in the WWF during his 1993 run. I wish injury hadn't hurt his career as i think he would have been a great heel.
I truly hope news of passing wrestlers will not be what it was in 2008, when for the first 6 months it seemed like a wrestler of wrestling personality passed every few weeks (Bigelow, Crush, Sherri, Kronus, Awesome, etc).
On a side note, I always wanted to see a Steiner Brothers vs. Yokozuna & Borga match. I just always thought the team of Yokozuna and Borga was interesting.

Man, I am still in shock over Tony Halme's death. I just can't believe it. I just put in SummerSlam '93 to watch his match with Marty Jannetty and he was impressive. He was a tremendous heel.
On a strange, bizarre note, the match that followed was the "Rest in Peace" match between The Giant Gonzalez and The Undertaker.
