I love roots, too, man. Been thinking about doing a big tattoo of some tree roots. Maybe a sleeve like Hardy has, but his tattoo is a mess. He calls it roots but it's also got some tribal design to it as well as so bio-mech esque qualities.

the roots/tree would look pretty cool on the arm but i'm not sure it would fit with the Jersey Shore Pauly D star. a good artist would figure out a good way to incorporate it though. i'd say your looking at atleast $500 for a peice like that.

Huh, I forgot Pauly had a tattoo like that. Maybe instead of the star on my elbow, I have the end of the roots spelling out Luck is for Losers Think that'd look cool? $500. Hmm. That'd seem fair to me. By my senior year, I'll hopefully have a job. Well, I'll see in the future. Thanks guys.

$500 for that? Wow, you guys get charged up the ass.
My guy gives such great prices. I asked about a sleeve in roots, he said we'd be looking at around $500 for it to be completed. Five hundred for something that small is a looootttt.

the shop i go to usually has a deal, $1,000 for a full sleeve finished. most artists will take care of you in terms of pricing when your a recurring customer. from what i gather, you're looking for a half sleeve pretty much. when the time comes, sit down with the artist you choose and he'll give you a price before he starts. i really like the idea of the tree/roots with the luck is for losers over the star. the star itself is cool looking, i've always liked it but the other would flow better.
Valo, do you always go to the same artist? i like the way your arm is coming together.

Left arm, starting at my wrist. The colors wouldn't stay too good so he dug deep. Loved it haha. Yeah check them out and if you like them Dance Gavin Dance, Isles and Glaciers, or anything else with Jonny Craig is for you

I'm thinking this is going to be my next one> I'll probably incorporate more stars, musical notes, and perhaps a spaceship or two.

I was thinking about getting a tattoo when I'm older, but always thought....It wouldn't look good, or I'll be scarred for the rest of my life If I don't like it anymore. Also is it healthy? Just wondering because I want one..but I don't want to have second thoughts, ya know?

Its not unhealthy if you get it at a shop with an artist that actually knows what they are doing. Its a life long thing, so make sure you get something you won't regret. Many artist let you look at their older work so you'll be able to see how good they are. The biggest thing you need to know is it is an addiction. Once you get one you will want to keep going. I have no regrets and love all my work. Id suggest it.
