Hey there. I have been reading this message board for a long time and would like to ask for help from the other collectors here.
My son saw the photos of the new Mattel Series 2 2-packs that everyone is finding at KMart. We went to a Kmart 40 miles away on Sunday morning to find that they didnt have the new display and only had a few 3-packs and WM Heritage figures.
I then got up early today and went to the only other Kmart I know of that was 30 miles away and they had a display, but only Series 1 2-packs and WM Heritage.
Could someone help me get him the new 2-packs? I have a paypal account with premier status that I can use to pay for them. I know everything is buy 2 get one 1 free this week so that would help with the final price.
Please let me know. I told him that I would ask here since we cant afford to pay $30-40 each on ebay.

I don't think he's asking for anyone to buy the figures but if you find them he will pay you for them. Since he can't find them in the stores right now.

Sorry. I did not word my post correctly. I meant that I could pay someone to pick the figures for him.
I could also try to trade something for them. I could look for something that another collector needs. I do have a Cena and Triple H 1/1000 that I could trade.

The 2 pack do not fall under the buy 2 get 1 free deal. Sure they do. What you need to do if you are buying both 2-Packs & singles is split the order into two orders. Buy the three 2-Packs first and one will ring up free. Then buy the singles. I saved $28 yesterday. And like I told him yesterday in a PM that store only had 2 sets left (1 Morrison/Miz & 1 Finlay/Hornswaggle)and is an hour away in NJ so I didn't know when I'd be able to get down there again. Financial wise, if I was at the stage where I couldn't afford $30-$40, figures would be the last thing on my mind... Why in Gods name would he want to spend $90-$120 for the 3 sets on Ebay when they are selling for $40 at KMart? I don't think he means he can't afford it, but what justifies paying some scalper those prices? Maybe he's trying to teach his son a lesson that ebay isn't the answer. |
