I hate to see good figures go to waste, especially my beloved BCA.
I wish a fellow collector could catch these people in the act and begin to crack down on this nonsense.
Stealing is for the most pathetic people in the world.

i honestly do not understand why anyone would wanna replace a Matell Rey with an RA Rey. That RA Rey is honestly better in my opinion. But man... these switcharoos never tend to get old. I honestly wanna see how the returns are being made.

i found multiples of this at a target today.....they replaced the wm heritage edge with a RA edge with grey rated r superstar tights....then am RA track jacket santino and an RA purple attire beth phoenix two pack. Someone also replaced the WM heritage orton with a RA orton as well.
I'm really surprised the associates at stores take these back as the re-pack jobs were absolutely terrible....its such a shame and this sucks because it will really hurt mattel's sales

I dont know how it is that so many people in the US get away with stuff like this. Staff must be VERY soft with this stuff. It rarely happens here but seems common over there. Its ridiculous.

Well I don't know how things are run where you're from but here the customer is always right. So I could see either lazy associates or someone who threw a fit and got what they wanted happening here. It sucks

Most customer service people are woman mid 20's & up. I'm sure they have no clue to who the wrestlers are let alone different companies. Especially with the ones I found yesterday they were all replaced with the same wrestlers in almost matching attires. Not only that even if they did notice the customer could probably just say they got it as a gift like that. And 9 times out of 10 they'll believe the customer. Let's face it some parent/grandparent/wife/girlfriend is going to buy those figures for someone not knowing they are repacks...So if they find out after they purchased them that they were repacks they should be able to return them without being given grief. So that's another reason Customer Service won't say anything.

I'm amazed that you can return opened toys without them being broken over there. Here the toy shops have a pretty strict returns policy.

I mean here, no matter if the person recognises whatever it is in the box, it cant be returned without a receipt and the packaging in the right condition i.e. unopened unless the good/s is faulty. I would have thought stores had strict policies. I can see how some might slip under the radar but it seems too frequent.

I hate that! It only happens at Wal-mart too. I've seen it a few walmarts by me and it pisses me off. I would love to be on the register when the person tries to return it. Call them out on it. lol.
"You're gonna have to wait a moment." Call security and watch them get in big trouble. That would be awesome!
Sadly the people at Wal-mart don't pay attention...

that's nothing. I once saw a complete set of DC Universe 9 replaced by toys that weren't even DC toys.

Ive seen it at TRU as well, but it probably happens less frequently there since TRU workers know toys as opposed to Walmart workers. I guess being a wrestling fan comes in handy when working at TRU
