That's right they had the Heritage Austin with a BCA Austin in it. An Elite MVP with a DA14(?) MVP (The black attire) and a Rey SuperStars Match Ups with a Jakks Rey in the same attire in it. Now I didn't even need any of those figures and it still pi$$ed me off. Seriously we know how I feel about scalpers, but I must say scalpers are a peg higher on the food chain than these @$$Clowns. WalMart did have the Hasbro ML DareDevil figures though (2 each of the red costume and yellow costume) Then I went next door to the Target and was goin to pick up another Elite Edge until I saw it was resealed also.

They were the only 3 Mattel figures on the floor. The sad part was the Elite MVP was sitting on the shelves just under the DA's they had on clearance including that very DA MVP, and Edge & Kozlov.

This crap is wrong. Its absurd that people at the return section cant tell the difference.

Utter scum, surely the people who put the returns out must see somthing is wrong, even to the untrained eye, a quick glance will see it has been resealed

i still think posting these things online gives the trolls here the idea and courage to do this themselves...thus further increasing the problem....i mean the jerk that did this is probably further entertained by the fact that everyone is making a big deal out of it online!!! treat repackers like ur teeth...ignore them and they will go away...
on a side note..i woulda picked up that bca austin...i need him still since my last one broke haha

At least this guy took the time to match figures. I've been waiting to find a re-packed anything but so far I have never seen one in person.

it still amazes me people can do that. everytime i open a figure the carding rips. i always thought people would go into the store with a figure and switch it somehow. now that i know they r doing this through returns is even more shocking. if i was the manager of a toy store i would try to have my staff know about the different lines of toys. these are at least close but ive seen some of a different person than the one on the picture of the carding.

It is worst than scalpers, scalpers invest their money into buying stuff up, but if you just replace and return you are getting things free and stealing.

Yea this is getting kinda out of hand! I feel bad for a kid who's parents buy him those figures thinking they are the Mattel figures.

This poop is wrong. Its absurd that people at the return section cant tell the difference. Well most people who work as a customer service person at say Wal-Mart most likely aren't familiar with wrestling figures. So they see the picture on the box looks similar to the figure in the box, and they think it's the right item in the box.

Depending on how much you care, the best thing you can do is take them to the store manager. Explain to him the situation and how much money they may be out because those figures probably won't sell. At that point the store manager should bring it up at the store meetings and at least alert the store personnel to keep an eye out for it. It won't stop it all together but it might help.
