These ones are $17.99,you know??!! SUCH a waste of money,SUCH better things to spend it on! " i basically told her to screw off,if she didn't want to ring them up,i would get a manager! if she wasn't over 60,i would have told her to off!

Not really. When most people see a six-foot-one, 300 plus pound Mexican looking at toys with fierce intent, they tend to mind their own business. -BEN

" i basically told her to screw off,if she didn't want to ring them up,i would get a manager! if she wasn't over 60,i would have told her to off! You should have agreed with her and said they are helping to pay her salary...Which is a waste all right.

Heres what usually happens when Im shopping for figs:
I'll have the figs I want, ready to leave. Then like some really hot girls will walk by, and of course, I'll end up throwing the figs onto the closest shelf I see, as if I never had them. Then when they get past me, I'll go get the figs back.
I'll end up seing another kid in my aisle looking at MY figs.......
I'll be shopping, and get the figures I want, then some little kid comes in the aisle with his mom looking for a figure. Of course, I have the figure hes looking for, then later I'll feel all bad about it....
I do like, some James Bomd moves through the aisles making sure that nobody is trying to get my figures (not joking at all).
Pretty much all of the above ^^^^

nope, wrestling figures arent that serious, not gonna throw fist over them. when i worked at kmart though the hot wheel guys always got into it and accused us of taking he rare ones. those guys are nut jobs. That's funny. We had one of those at Walgreen's. He would accuse us of hoarding the chase cars. He even went so far as to follow an employee in the stock room and demanded to see the Hot Wheels cases. Funny thing is, this douche is a prominent local doctor.

Would my wife count as another customer? lol If not then no. But there's been times in the past where we argued about whether I was going to buy something or not. Dude, NEVER take your woman figure shopping!

No rude people.. But I felt awful when I took the last Hornswoggle when he first was released. Poor kid, I let him have a look though, and he didn't seem too fussed "/

Dude, NEVER take your woman figure shopping! I've dated people who would actually go looking for me if I didn't have time to stop at a store. Getting them familiar with the figures comes in handy!

Dude, NEVER take your woman figure shopping! We hit TRU for a Starting Line Ups Howie Long for me on our first date. And she buys figures for me all the time when shes at Target or WalMart. But there are times (Like right before Christmas or my Birthday) where I'll want to buy something and she'll be arguing with me not to because someone might have bought it for me already. (Like I care if I get doubles)

I've seen moms and/or grandmas fighting over stuff at TRU on Black Friday at 5:00 in the friggin' morning both times I was in there picking up something for my nephew's Christmas present. The worst instance was on year when I was picking up a big, talking plush Scooby Doo-- he was WAAAAAY into Scooby at the time-- and seconds after I picked one up, the last few were snatched up. They went very quickly. Two women got into a tug-of-war ovr the last one, and were screaming at each other like their lives depended on it. A crowd was gathering, but I was disgusted, and just rolled my eyes and went to check out. Usually when I see other adults in the toy aisle who are obviously buying for themselves, they act kinda weird and usually scamper off, like they're embarrassed. I don't understand that, since I'm buying the stuff for myself (usually) too, and anyway, there's no reason to be embarrassed about it. I know there are a lot of narrow-minded people out there who don't understand the concept of adults collecting toys, but acting like you feel embarrassed about it only reinforces the incorrect view that there is something wrong with it.
Hm, I kinda got off-topic there. So, I've never had an altercation in the toy aisle myself, only witnessed a couple.

I haven't but sometimes the cashiers look at you funny even though I am not even that old.. I guess if you are 16 then you shouldn't be into wrestling figs but whatever. When you are 50 you shouldn't be working at a TRU.

I'm always ready for an altercation after some of the stories I've read on here about guys my age getting yelled at by bad ass dads and whatnot. However, the only times I've been spoken to at all while buying figs were by some chick buying stuff for her boyfriend or boy-who-is-a-friend and she needed advice... Or by a nice grandma who needed help picking out stuff for her grandson. That one was fun, I picked out a handful of John Cenas, Rey Mysterios, and I think a Great Khali for her... She thought I was a saint. So YOU are the reason we got so many Cenas and Mysterios...

Not really an alltercation but i was in collecters shop looking for WWE figs when this old guy says, 'is there anyone your after' ,and I said the RA 38 TBK and he laughed and said 'he was out of here months ago', even though there was still a few RA 38 figs, then I said they're a bit dear and he tried to tell they were normal price, even though they were all £12.99 when they are usually £7.99. I just looked at him like lolwut!?.

My Grandma said when she bought me the Tag Title Belt Pack some kid had a huge hissy fit and was told to leave to store with his Mum. It was the last one Oh yeah one time i was looking for some figures in a TRU i have never been to and i find them then this "Fat" Family for 6 Comes down the isle and they look through the figures and they keep going to their son "This one?" their son "NO!!" (He was like 8) i see at the back of the shelf a RA 39 Hardy and it was the only one. I take it out and they all start yelling at me "OI YOU DONT NEED IT!!" "YOUR ING 13!!" I was like *Look at my Avy* and walked off. no...but when i was buying some Series 1 and 2-packs at K-Mart last week, the lady at the register gave me some poop....she was like "These wrestlers are $9.99 you know?! These ones are $17.99,you know??!! SUCH a waste of money,SUCH better things to spend it on! " i basically told her to screw off,if she didn't want to ring them up,i would get a manager! if she wasn't over 60,i would have told her to off! I would of been like: "I dont care about the Prices, as long as the children at the Hospital are happy."

Ah yes, the age factor is definitely a common thing. I picked up RA40 Edge and this woman who must have been around 40 something who was dressing like she was only 20, told me I was a little old for buying "dolls" so I looked at her and said she was far too old for wearing a mini skirt and a low cut top, needless to say, she shut up after that.

Some of you guys are lucky that your wifes or girlfriends will buy you stuff randomly. Hell would have to freeze over for my wife to get me stuff. Anyway I never been or seen any altercations but its a fantasy of mine to be in one.

Yeah my girl friend doesn't quiet get it and she was actually getting mad at me for waking up early a week before Jan 1st and everyday hitting my Target, Walmart and TRU. I am such a bad liar too that she could always tell where i was. Also I never use a cart and if I see something I want on a peg or on a shelf I don't care who's in front of it I grab it. Did it yesterday with a Flexforce Matt Hardy some dad gave me a dirty look but him! Also I am pretty big too I use to wrestle and I am gym rat so not too many people give me crap.
