Have you ever gotten into an altercation with another customer over a wrestling figure in the store? Please share your stories.

No.
But once I got into an argument with some lunatic over a Star Wars figure. It was the day the Revenge of the Sith TRU exclusive Yoda came out and I went to my TRU nice and early. They didn't have them yet. While I was there, some guy said told me that a TRU about a half hour away def had. His friend had called him and let him know. So I got in my car and drove down to the other TRU. There was on friggin' Yoda left on the pegs. I took off the peg and right away heard someone yell "You scumbag!" It was the guy that had told me that this TRU had the figures! He drove down there as well, lol, and I got the last figure! He was telling me that I should give it to him because I wouldn't have even know if it wasn't for him...yea, ok. He went on and on AND on, and followed me all the way up to the cashier just bitching and moaning.
It was hilarious.

I'm always ready for an altercation after some of the stories I've read on here about guys my age getting yelled at by bad ass dads and whatnot. However, the only times I've been spoken to at all while buying figs were by some chick buying stuff for her boyfriend or boy-who-is-a-friend and she needed advice... Or by a nice grandma who needed help picking out stuff for her grandson. That one was fun, I picked out a handful of John Cenas, Rey Mysterios, and I think a Great Khali for her... She thought I was a saint.

Never had an altercation. Always had pleasant conversations in the toy aisle. They are TOYS after all.

On New Years Day there was this real weird old guy who ran into Target and blocked everyone from seeing the new wrestlers, he was a real jacka@$ but no punches were thrown

I've never had any altercations at all. In fact, like 99% of the time I'm usually the only one in the isle. The only time I'm ever approached in the isle is by parents or whoever asking me if I know what a certain character looks like so they can buy if for their kid....because I guess despite the names being on the boxes apparently some people don't have the wherewithal to actually thumb through them and see if the store has who they are looking for lol

Nope, I usually end up talking to other kids about wrestling or helping a parent find a particular figure when an employee isnt around.

I'm honestly surprised that no one has had to RKO someone yet. WFigs, you're letting me down.

Never.
But a member on here posted a story a few months ago in the Jakks board about him being at TRU with the CS Natalya and Jim Neidhart two-pack in his cart with his back turned, then another customer came up and took it out of the cart walking away with it, claiming his cousin needed it. I would not have taken that BS.

I haven't had any altercations. Regarding the new stuff, the very first day the Mattel figures went on sale at my local TRU (New Year's Eve to be precise) the only person I encountered was a young mom around my age whose son was looking for figures. Of course he was looking for guys like Jeff Hardy and Sheamus, so I just let his mom know about the new lineups and who she could get for him. I made it out of there with 7 of the 1/1000 figures (I got there right at open) and was shocked to not have people going nuts at the pegs.
Another day I went I ran into a guy who offered to sell me a loose Kofi Kingston for $5 since he had it at home but was going to buy the exclusive boxed set instead. Already have Kofi, so declined.

I'm always shocked when hearing these bad stories. Taking stuff out of their carts? Harassment if they got the last figure? Someone refusing to let anyone else view toys while they get first dibs? Insane. I wouldn't be able to handle any of these situations with patience or good manners.
Outside of helping a few people out, I've never had any sort of interesting experience, let alone a bad one.

Would my wife count as another customer? lol If not then no. But there's been times in the past where we argued about whether I was going to buy something or not.

Not me personally, but I have seen some of the hot wheel collectors get pretty rough and rude with each other. My brother works at a Wal-mart and he says every Sunday a hot-wheel collector accuses another Wal-mart employee of taken the rare chase cars though.
