So, I stopped collecting wrestling figures around 2006 because I was just getting tired of seeing the same old half-hearted products that Jakks was releasing week in and week out. As a matter of fact, I stopped watching wrestling altogether about the same time. But last Saturday, WWE Smackdown came to town and my buddy and I decided to go and what do you know, I was hooked again on wrestling. Well, this Monday I saw and advertisement for the new Mattel line and they looked great so I decided to run to Wal-mart and check and see if they had any. They had the Wrestlemania series and I picked up all six (Stone Cold, Cena, Taker, Batista, Orton, and Edge).
I must say, the detail is incredible and the Batista is by far the best figure in the set. I will be buying more and I you will be seeing more of me on these forums.
Thanks for reading!

Welcome back! I never thought I would ever buy a Mattel figure, but when they made a John Cena without a screaming face or a huge head a la Jakks, I caved in. Now I have to sell my Jakks Wrestlemania XXIV John Cena.

Glad you're back. Mattel is doing a fantastic job so far. So you picked a good time to get back into it.

Glad you're back. Mattel is doing a fantastic job so far. So you picked a good time to get back into it. I've been impressed by what I have seen in person so far....Other than the Flex Force set. Those figures looked terrible. I've live in a small town and the only place that carries these figures is Wal-mart, so I haven't seen much yet. But like I said, the six figures that I bought I am really impressed by. Thanks for the comments guys!

Welcome back sir, I was Pro Mattel before seeing Protos, just from seeing the DCU and MOTU Figures, I knew they'd be good.

I'm in the same boat man. I I quit collecting WWE about 3 years agobecause I got tired of all the crap Jakks put out with each series. The Mattel's have blown me away and now I can't wait to get more of them.
