I’ve recently began to watch every TNA show from the beginning to present day. Also, reviewing TNA from 1-4-2010 onwards so I do not have to be backed up any further than I am

The following questions are to see what the fans opinions on what was going on at the time so I can get a feel as to if the fans were enjoying a certain angle or not.

I’ll only post ten questions at a time as I don’t want people to take too much time doing this.

If you do not know how to answer a question because you weren’t watching at the time, just skip it.

Question #1: Your opinion on Ken Shamrock being the first NWA-TNA World Champion?

Question #2: What was your reaction and overall thoughts on Ron Killings becoming a World Champion? Was his run successful?

Question #3: Were you at all surprised that Curt Hennig arrived in TNA?

Question #4: What did you think of Sonny Siaki in 2002?

Question #5: Did you think that Chris Harris and James Storm would be a successful tag team?

Question #6: Do you think Low Ki could have been elevated into a main event wrestler and even a World Champion?

Question #7: Your thoughts on Brian Lawler and the angle where he was abusive towards his girlfriend?

Question #8: How would you rate Scott Hall’s run in TNA during 2002? A success or a failure?

Question #9: Could Elix Skipper have been a top tier heel for TNA?

Question #10: Was BG James at all interesting and did you want to see him be a champion in TNA?

Currently, I am only in October of 2002 thus that is why the questions are centered around that time frame. I know a lot of people will not remember this far back, but anything is better than nothing

Question #1: I liked it at the time because I was always a huge Shamrock fan.

Question #2: I wasn't sure it was the right move but I thought it was good they were giving a younger talent a chance. I thought he was entertaining as champ.

Question #3: Nah, in those days TNA routinely picked up WWE's releases and Hennig really didn't get the 'legend' status he deserved until he died, sadly.

Question #4: I thought he was going to be TNA's 'golden boy' as it were, the guy they were going to get over as a main eventer sooner or later no matter what. I thought he was fairly entertaining.

Question #5: A few months in it was obvious they were destined to be great. At first I didn't think anything of it.

Question #6: Absolutely.

Question #7: Never cared for Lawler after his Too Cool stint.

Question #8: Wasn't he only around for a few weeks? Really wasn't much of either, he was just kinda there.

Question #9: I don't think so. I like Primetime, but as an X-Division guy.

Question #10: I really didn't like 3LK and the eventual James Gang was interesting for about a few weeks and then I went back to not caring. I would not have wanted him as champion at any point.

Question #1: If he wasn't bat sh*t crazy, I would've loved to have him around longer. I was happy he won though.

Question #2: I never really remember he was a champion. I guess I didn't care enough. Any time the race angle is played in wrestling I just get annoyed.

Question #4: He was ok and that TNA was going to the moon.

Question #5: Yeah for TNA cause it was easy to tell Jarrett loved them. But I didn't see Storm being the breakout eventually.

Question #6: No, not in TNA. I love Low-Ki but he seemed to see TNA mostly as a pay check and TNA saw him as a piece of entertainment.

Question #7: Useless, just like Brian Lawler.

Question #8: Meh, he didn't do anything.

Question #9: No, he was always a part of Triple X with two guys who stuck out a lot more than he did. I think if he was still in TNA he would probably be floundering around like the MCMGs.

Question #10: He was funny when 3LK started and they did the interview that lead to it. He has a lot of charisma, but no, I never wanted to see titles around him. He would be a much better manager than wrestler.

I thought it was a great moment for him, as it was a totally 'new' thing with weekly PPVs and so on, having a 'new' World champion was good to see.

I always thought he was entertaining and had more to offer than what we originally saw as 'K-Kwik'. Not sure how successful his run was, though.

At that point, nothing really surprised me in wrestling anymore, so no, but it was good to see him.

Question #4: What did you think of Sonny Siaki in 2002?
I thought they were going to push him with as much credibility as possible, but then again...

Question #5: Did you think that Chris Harris and James Storm would be a successful tag team?
I had no idea of knowing what milestone they would set, and liked their dynamic, even if I appreciated Storm more than Harris.

Question #6: Do you think Low Ki could have been elevated into a main event wrestler and even a World Champion?
I had hopes, yes, as I've been a fan of his since ROH's inception, and along with guys like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe who are now at that level, he could've been alongside them from woe to go, IMO.

Question #7: Your thoughts on Brian Lawler and the angle where he was abusive towards his girlfriend?
I was reminded of the whole 'Chaz' (Headbanger Mosh) thing from WWE a earlier. Lawler and his dad have never impressed me one iota.

Question #8: How would you rate Scott Hall’s run in TNA during 2002? A success or a failure?
A failure, pretty much, as he was hardly around, and seemed to just phone it in.

Question #9: Could Elix Skipper have been a top tier heel for TNA?
IMO, probably not, although he has been involved in some 'big' matches (Turning Point '04 of course for THAT moment) but with his tendency to not be that careful in the ring I know that would've not rubbed well with some senior guys there.

Question #10: Was BG James at all interesting and did you want to see him be a champion in TNA?
As was the case with Brian Lawler, BG James never impressed me at all, and just seemed to be 'there', but never someone who had focus in the company. Never liked 3LiveKru either.

1. Worked at the time, wouldnt now though.

2. Killings being champion was a nice pick but and exmplefied the good things about TNA at that time

4. Lots of potential but never got that... "Rock" thing that they were hopin for

5. THink they are still the best tag team TNA ever had

7. Interesting but couldnt stand the guy

8. Failure..but coulda been good had he been more into it. Kinda like now.

9. No. His voice sucked

10. He worked well with 3lk. he coulda been molded into a world champion but not something I'd have wanted to see.

Hold on to that footage becasue that's when tna was about what they said they would be about and that's being an alternative.
