I don't really consider calling it a new collection, it's just more WWE stuff to collect.

I wasn't trilled at first, but after seeing how good they are in person I'm very excited. Guys like Ted, Randy, Evan, & Santino are so much better than their Jakks counterparts I couldn't resist.

Its not so much of a new collection for me. Just more of an 'extension'.

I was excited back when I saw the protos. I am ECSTATIC ti finally start the new collection. I am sad to say goodbye Jakks, but Mattel definitely helps to ease the pain. ;D

well at first, i was just going to buy figures from mattell that jakks didnt make. then i figured maybe i would update certain figures that mattel did a better job on.
So first I bought Santio/Beth cause they had better detail then jakks
then it was orton...then edge
and now i have thirteen mattel figures
Dibiase Rhodes Orton Cena Jericho HBK Triple H Big Show Edge Santino Beth Batista Kofi
hoping to get bourne this week

Yes I am very excited about Mattel and enjoying basic series 1. I sold my jakks collection to make room for Mattel. Was going to quit but Mattel blew me away!

Nope. I'm mixing Jakks and Mattel. Just getting Mattel when they are better versions, like Kofi, Bourne, Jericho, ect

I sold off my Jakks collection months ago in preparation for the Mattel onslaught.
I haven't been this excited for wrestling figures since probably WWF Hasbro or Jakks BCA.

I know I am, I had thrown all my Jakks stuff in a box a year or so ago in disgust. I just got so sick of all the usual crap and shortcomings from Jakks. I like the Mattel stuff a hell of a lot more. I'm only keeping the few Jakks figures that Mattel is not likely to make that fit in scale-wise.

I wasnt at first, but the detail of the figures is way better than Jakks. My son on the other hand does not like them because they do not feel as "strong" as the old ones. He thinks they may break easier when played with.
I bought him an extra Cena to play with so we will see.

I sold all of my JAKKS almost 3 years ago, and never thought I'd collect again.
Mattel however, completely changed that. The quality is just so superior, I can't help myself.

I just got my first 6 basic figs today from RSC.
They are nice, a little bit different, a little bit the same.
I like the scale between the individual wrestlers.
I'm not seeing basic line any more playable (maybe even less) than the RAs.
I'm wondering if it's worth getting into Elites or just sticking to the basic line, who knows.
They are nice anyhow, I will say that, don't see myself amassing a huge collection as with jakks though...

I Love collecting Mattel, Before when i collected Jakks i would just shove them in a box and play with them when i feel like it, but now i have shelves for all my figures.

Not at all, I got all the MAttel figures I want now, unless they start releasing guys like Bryan Danielson, Low-Ki and the other indy guys they sign. I won't buy another Mattel figure unless it truely blows me away.
