well i got the new mattel smackdown ring and i noticed a little "opening" in one side of the ringskirt it cought my eye and i thought it may be some kind of entrance stage/ramp "plug in" or something where the ramp can connect to the ring i made a description  tell me what you think |

yeah i noticed this too but the ramp shouldnt go that far to the ring..

Maybe it is just the way the ring was molded...?
It could have been where the injection point was for the mold and they just leveled it off like that.
OR it could be a plug for some super duper entrance stage with lights, theme music, and strippers in cages.
Just a thought...

Could also be a spot to let the sound out, to give the ring a more authentic sound. I have heard the ring sounds much better than the Jakks rings.

I still think it's way too small for Mattel figures but man the crash of that ring is on par if you're at a live event. That and the ropes and posts are awesome, if they use the same idea on a bigger ring it could be the coolest yet. |
