Myself and the other half of the Fedora Mafia headed to nearby Reading, Pa for some TNA action. We lined up about an hour before doors to ensure good placement for JB's backstage pass giveaway. They opened doors 30 minutes early so you could buy merch, however you couldn't get to your seats for 30 minutes after that. I purchased the Hogan/Change shirt and was good to go. I waited to get into the arena while CM showstopper took my 2009 program to get singed by Mick Foley. He was a complete pass on waiting for as I've met him many times. Once inside was made our way to the backstage pass. Then onto the stage. Yes, I said stage. The six sided ring was sitting on a theater stage with two sections on seating on either side in addition to the theater's normal seating. Right as we got up there Rhyno peaked thru the curtain so I got him on my Slammiversary poster. We chatted it up with the TNA crew before the show and had some fun. The wrestling itself was pretty piss poor. Even AJ/Daniels was lackluster compared to other house show matches.
During intermission, the Fedora Mafia headed backstage to meet with TNA peeps. I was able to knock out Homicide, JB, Shark Boy, Beer Money, Hamada, Abyss, Jay Lethal, and D Lo Brown. THe only thing that sucked was I was holding out my poster for Lethal to sign. Right after he did, JB grabbed my stack of 3 TNA programs, I told him he already signed them, but he opened the new one, which I was hoping to leave blank, and sign his buisness. It wasn't a huge deal but it looks like I started another project last night thanks to Borash.
After the show was over TNA did their usual gig around the arena with AJ in the ring as stars in the crowd. I got another Rhyno and DR. Stevia on my poster. I would have liked more Beer Money or Abyss, but I was dead set on getting Stevie before anyone else. We waited in the arena for AJ to finish his photo ops but he didn't sign anyways. It worked out well becasue by the time we were done Jarrett had no line and I knocked him out on my poster too.
From there we head to Lancaster county home to cows, the Amish, and Kong's Haiti fundraiser. Essentially it was about 10 TNA guys drinking, eating, and shooting the crapfor about 3 hours. It was really fun. I knocked out some more photos and autos at the bar. Kong is probably one of the coolest girls ever.
I think the story of night goes to CM Showstopper getting hit on my the gay bouncer. MR. Showstopper had to ask Homicide for adivce on how not to roofied. Homicide picked up his Corona bottle and acted like he was gonna whack the guy.
