I wish there was a 'general figure talk' thread... but anyway.
I hung out with an ex tonight, and we went to Wal-Mart (I needed to do some grocery shopping, and she needed someone to talk to). So anyway, while I was there I grabbed the Santino/Beth 2 Pack, got back home, we surfed the net for a bit, and then opened up the pack.
She was really blown away with the detail on Santino, and Beth's face sculpt was just scary identical. After she left, I got set up to photograph them, took a few pics, and then while talking to Focalin, and looking over them, I noticed Beth had a chip in the plastic on her torso. Big let down for sure, I deleted the pics, and repacked them to exchange them tomorrow.
Originally, I wasn't even going to buy the set, and then I saw it in person. Such a bummer, those two figures are just amazing.
Anyone else found any chips in the plastic, or paint yet?

I think someone mentioned their Beth having faded, or "warped" logos. Such a shame when you manage to land a figure you really want, and some subtle error occurred on the paint job.

Well, my Basic 1 Cena doesn't have his belt painted in the back, and my Elite CM Punk had switched feet (right for left, left for right), but I exchanged Punk.

The logos are a little bit smeared on the thighs on my Beth Phoenix. Not too bad though.

So impressed with those two figures, as much as it pissed me off that she had a chip in the plastic, I'm still blown away.
I hope Mattel gives the divas some differences in body molds. That'd rule.

Yeah I finally found the Beth/Santino pack at Wal-Mart today.
Beth might be the best figure Mattel has made so far. I was shocked that it was Elite style to begin with, but the details and likeness are CRAZY accurate. I don't normally buy Diva figures, but Beth is my favorite Diva and it was impossible to pass up this figure.
Santino is pretty amazing too. Looks just like him.

That really sucks about your Beth. I have one but I have yet to open it yet. I hope it is good when I finally do. I don't think you have returned it yet but I hope they don't give you trouble because it is opened. I mean I don't remember the last time I returned an open fig.. As for the diva figs having different molds I too really hope they do that. Beth should not be the same as Kelly so I am glad that Mattel didn't do that. Whenever they do make a Kelly she will probably be tiny compared to Beth and that is a good thing since it is realistic.

Damn man, sorry to hear about that. Its quite a letdown when you finally get something you want and then you find something wrong with it that will only persistently bug you. Hope you can find another because i actually think the Glamarella set is the best 2 pack from Mattel to date. Both of them are A+ figures. Hope you find another, shame you didnt still have pics of the chip.

My RA 40 Jericho has a chip on the upper leg you have to pull the leg down to see it

My Jericho from the two pack had his logo on his boot smeared! Which sucks cause the figure is awesome. My Beth has a small crack on the side of her torso, but it's not that noticeable. But besides a few paint spots on their skin there hasn't been any major issues.

All mine have had good QC thus far.
I guess with a mass market line like this some suspect QC is expected. But the level of detail and the quality of these things, for a mass market release, is amazing.

Damn bro, sorry to hear that. It really bugs me when even the slightest bit of paint is missing on figures..
This past week, I picked up the Wrestlemania Edge from K-mart (it was the only one there) Got home, opened it and the design on his right side is all "smudgy" like if someone took a sponge and absorbed some of the paint. I'm not too upset because I am grateful that I found it but still :/

i've had two incidents worth speaking of so far. I bought a Kofi that had his calf put on backwards and the tree on the side of his leg was obviously painted on the wrong side as a result of this. it really freaking bothered me so i packed him up and exchanged him the next day. the next problem i had was finding a good stone cold. everywhere i looked i found something. either his goatee was lopsided or his eyes were messed up. i also saw plenty out there with the paint on his tights messed up too so i kept looking. i finally found one with just a mark in his eye and a tiny bit of paint missing on his tights. i bought it, did a paintjob and now my steve austin looks great. i love mattel figs, i'm just really picky when buying them so i don't have to do as much work when i open them.

Only QC problem I've had so far was very minor, on the Edge figure from the TRU exclusive belt pack. His tattoo on his left shoulder i faded on the black outline. It's only noticeable when comparing it to one of the other Edge figures, no big deal.

Sorry to hear about the chip, hopefully you can find another one. The only problem I have had is both my Elite Taker and Punk have very loose feet. Taker is alot worse then Punk. It isnt a huge deal to me because I only display the figures and you dont notice it unless you pick the figures up.
