A sequel to the hugely successful horror Paranormal Activity is going into production, with Saw VI director Kevin Greutert taking charge. The Hollywood Reporter says the sequel has been scheduled for release in October, the same week as Saw VII. Oren Peli, who wrote and directed the first film and is producing the second, said "the fans will not be disappointed." The film, shot in Peli's own home, is one of the most profitable movies ever, costing just $15,000 to make. I still don't see the appeal of this movie. The plot sucked, the order of things happening was horrible, and instead of feeling any sort of fear, I kept hoping whatever it was would just kill that  ing guy for being such a douche the entire movie. |

I really enjoyed 'Paranormal Activity' but a sequel is just unnecessary. I hope neither of those sequels ever materialize. Sounds rushed and horrible.

Paranormal Activity sucked. It was all just hype. Sitting there waiting for something to happen was the scary part and then nothing happened. There was no pay off. Anybody can set up a camera and have banging noises in the background. I was very let down by this movie.

Paranormal 2 will be just like Blair Witch 2 it will bomb, because people will realize the first one sucked and there is no need to see the second one.

i think saw will get the number one aswell, im kinda sad that the 1st saw film im able to see in the cinema is meant to be the last I thought it was stopping at Saw X? Hopefully that is true. I'm 16, yet I saw Saw VI at the cinema back in November. I don't care what get's number 1 at Halloween, my money will be going to Saw VII, not a crapsequel, to a really crapfilm. |

That could be a good thing, though. The longer they go on, the worse they get (well it seemed that way with IV and V, but VI was one of the best in year's).

In my opinion the Saw series is kind of played out. I thought Paranormal Activity was ok but way overhyped. There is no need for a second one. Sad thing is it will have a much bigger budget and just wind up sucking. Just like Blair Witch 2.

But Both the first movies were awesome. Blair Witch was a great film.... No cell phones, no navigation systems. It almost shows people today that we could almost survive without all that tech-crap. I remember seeing it in th etheater, everyone was getting sick from the camera moviements. That movie was a classic. The sequel blew camel balls.... Hopefully PA2 doesn't have their ball dropped, and it becomes a success. |
