I lost interest in Saw after Saw III. I'm definitely interested in PA2 though.

Paranormal Activity is one of, if not my favorite horror movie of all time, but I have absolutely no expectations for a sequel, and to be quite honest, I'm a little upset that they're making it.

Next October sounds like a terrible month after hearing about both of those movies. As much as I hate the Saw sequels... i am hoping that they end the series with a bang!

First off, Kevin Greutert did a fantastic job with Saw VI and he's one of the best film editors out there to boot. With him at the helm of PA 2, it's gonna be good.
Now for Saw VII, it kinda makes me worry that they let David Hackl direct another one since he directed Saw V, and that's considered the be the worst of the bunch.
Either way, I'm gonna see both.

I enjoyed Paranormal Activity. The fact that its based on what could really happen with an actual spirit made it very interesting for me, though I don't know how a sequel would do. As for SAW VII, can't wait.

Saw lost to PA last year, now some might say "it's all hype" but didn't it make a significant amount less than the last sequel?
I think there's a good chance that Saw will lose again this year.

Saw V domestic gross = $56,746,769 Saw VI domestic gross = $27,693,292 Saw VI was the lowest grossing saw movie. Paranormal Activity's domestic gross = $107,917,813 I think there's a very good chance PA 2 will beat Saw.

That's assuming tons of people go see another saw movie, judging by the fact that it's been making less and less money every sequel I think it's fair to assume Saw VII will make less than Saw VI.
I don't think PA 2 will make anywhere near as much as the original, but I do think it has an easy chance of beating another Saw movie. If this was five years ago it might be a different story but the numbers don't lie, the general audience is growing tired of the Saw Franchise.
