Today is the vote to determine who takes Ted Kennedy's Senate seat.
It's going to be either Martha Coakley or Scott Brown.
Some polls show her up big while others show him up big, so it's a toss up.
Brown has run a great campaign, while Coakley has made mistakes and just run an awful campaign.
The seat really could go to a Republican.

So the woman is the Democrat and the guy is the Republican?
Sucks if the Democrats lose that since wouldn't they lose the 60 votes they need?

we well end up having a lame duck president this time nexy yr anyways so this seat really doesnt matter in that sense, but it could be kind of cool to see some one besides a Dem in that seat, not that im a fan of either but ur right Coakley had a horrid campaign

Maybe if she didn't run a poopty campaign she would have won.
It's now up to 66% reporting.

your right im not gonna say your not , but Democrats in congress have been absolutly horrid recently Only because the Republicans have said they are going to oppose stuff no matter how great the deal was for them. Are Democrats to blame? Sure, they have some blame. But Republicans are the bigger problem as they don't want to work with Democrats, they just want to make sure nothing gets done.
