Source - Wrestling Globe Newsletter
– There is talk that Bryan Danielson could debut on SmackDown soon as part of the CM Punk storyline. Danielson made his FCW debut against Kaval (Low Ki) at the developmental tapings last Thursday, with the pair having a typical WWE type match with less risks and bumps.

No thank you.
He needs to debut on ECW like originally planned.

Sounds like a solid idea to me. In an ideal world, for me at least, it would evolve into a Punk/Danielson feud at Wrestlemania.

As in a head shave angle? maybe he can say No and attack Punk.

As in a head shave angle? maybe he can say No and attack Punk. I would allow that, would be a great way to bring him in

No more damn heels! Have him attack Punk or something and saying to stop shoving his straight edge crap down our throats or something. 70% of the roster is full of heels.

No thank you. He needs to debut on ECW like originally planned. Explain why a great wrestler who deserves to be on a good show should be put on the 'C' list show. Aaaand go.

The 'C' show is the best show they have going. He'd actually accomplish something there instead of floating around the midcard on Raw, jobbing to DX or Cena or to the Undertaker or Batista on Smackdown.

And then after I wiped a tear from my eye, I thought even harder about how beneficial it would be for Danielson to be on a show people actually watch. So, if he goes on Raw or SD, he'll end up getting pedigree'd by HHH or jobbing to Undertaker, is that it? Take a look at Evan Bourne and CM Punk, and then say what you said again with a straight face.

So he won't be squashed by HHH on Raw, he'll be squashed by Sheamus. Punk is now floating around the mid-card, he's not a main eventer.

He'd actually accomplish something there instead of floating around the midcard on Raw, jobbing to DX or Cena or to the Undertaker or Batista on Smackdown. Then after ECW, what? Goes to RAW or SD and gets the same treatment. Look at Jack Swagger, great wrestler, good heel; lost to Santino last week and Henry this week. May as well go on SD and start in an angle with someone the crowd hates. Which can one of two ways: he teams with Punk and acts as a better tag partner than Gallows or attacks him and becomes a nice rival who can be established quickly. Not saying ECW can't work for him, but how many people really know the talent in there? Sheamus moved to Raw and had no reaction until he went after Cena. At least with SD he could be paired or feud with a guy who the crowd knows and hates.

But at least he can be in the main event on ECW.
He's going to play second/third/fourth fiddle no matter if he goes to Raw or Smackdown, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Main event on ECW may as well be mid card on the other shows, he'll start at the same place. If he actually has the drive to get somewhere and not just want to collect a pay check he'll move up anyway. Anyway I look at it, I get Danielson on TV, so it's win for me no matter where he goes.

I don't care what show he's on just as long as he's around. A feud with Punk could be great.
